errmmmm first tumblr post this is littlepaw she is my pride and joy n i adore her!! she's the windclan medicine cat apprentice and she has a crush on the shadowclan med cat app, maggotpaw!! hopefully i can cook up a maggotpaw ref soon but for now there's just littlepaw, idk how much traction this is gonna get i have no idea how to work tumblr i feel like a dinosaur!

There’s someone in the confessional booth at St. Patrick’s.

He’s not supposed to be there, but he likes to watch. Not during mass, when it’s busiest, but in the quiet moments. When you’re the only one in the last two pews. He beckons from inside the booth with a come hither gesture. But I don’t listen. I sit, facing forward. I tell him to buzz off. I’m busy.

When I tell my wife, her fellow bridesmaids ask me if it’s someone they know. Their deceased relatives, their fathers, grandfathers, brothers. But I know it isn’t. My wife says it’s an evil spirit, but he’s not evil. Just curious. Just cautious. He might even be friendly, if I weren’t so scared to look at him.

But that’s not right either, is it? I’m not scared of him. More… wary. He’s been here a long time. I don’t know if he’d approve of me, not if he knew the truth. I don’t belong in the church, and maybe he knows that or maybe he doesn’t. Maybe he doesn’t care. Maybe he just wants to talk. It’s been so long since someone paid attention to him. I know that much.

At the wedding, he stands high above the pews, near the organs, up top. When I look back to watch the bride come down the aisle, I know he’s standing there. I know he sees me. I know he wants me to watch him back.

What's automatic drawing?

here's a rly good video explaining it!

basically it's the process of letting your hand draw whatever, and not letting your brain get in the way in terms of overanalysing and preventing yourself from developing proper looseness and flow -- it's a really good exercise for not getting in your own way, and ive found it really helps with my ability to sketch out thumbnails quickly when im doing comics etc!
