the mulholland drive person behind the diner scene and the lake mungo deathly premonition scene are maybe the two scenes that have creeped me out most in any movie, so this looks like a bit of a scare niche

#together with another mulholland scene (the smelly corpse on the bed which is...also a premonition) i guess i got this fear of...doom?#when presented through bloated corpses #I haven't actually explored this almost at all...#maybe there's something about the uh...''growth'' of a body through decay #maybe that's also why fungi fascinate me #txt #but man the first time i saw both of those scenes...#first time with mulholland was a fair bit ago i was about 18. and afterwards that face was haunting me so much i was scared to turn around #or look into dark corners or pass by a threshold #for the record im not easily this creeped out by horror. most of the time im not really scared. so thats also why these stand out
