van still couldn't bbelieve that they were going out with tobi again. but since their first attempt had gone nowhere, this would be the next and final attempt. of course, van still had the stupid bet to worry about but they'd cross that bridge when they got there. "you look . . . nice," van compliments, looking them up and down. "i didn't think you were capable of dressing up. good for you." hey, van was trying to be nice for a change so that had to count for something.
