#me#first museum was great.. got talking w a new yorker who travels the world documenting pre 1800s paintings#and ended up running into him again at the next one actually god bless! happy he got some prime shots#i already love these old houses anyway but to see the art in there as well.. aahh#some absolutely stunning hunting/wild game paintings and the BRUSH strokes on those feathers and fur HELLO..#big paintings over big fireplaces.. lil stairs and half levels behind a nook.. a room of landscapes like windows into different worlds#that one breugel w all the proverbs (the second museum had ten of em on lil plates i was like hey!!)#an old music room w instruments ive never seen before and oil paint '''sketches'' absolutely gongeous.. sO worth it thanks
