cw madoka magica spoilers (the whole series- anime+movie only)

ok im gonna recap the plot of the entire series from memory.

*ahem*

so madoka and her bff sayaka meet this girl named Mami who's a magical girl and there's this cat thing called kyubey who is like yo you two should become magical girls. This weird dark haired magical girl named Homura who's also the new kid in class is like "yo actually don't that cat thing fucking sucks" and shoots its head off and madoka is like "BRO THAT WAS A KITTY WHY'D YOU DO THAT YOU FREAK?" but its ok bc kyubey is an immortal hivemind alien.

Mami makes the magical girl life look beautiful. She's this pure of heart girl who puts others first, basically an irl superhero. So the other two girls really look up to her. The magical girl stuff is simple, seems so at first. Make a wish, become a magical girl. just really decide on that wish. Mami's was to not fucking die in a car accident that killed her parents! I think. :)

anyway turns out this magical girl stuff isn't just funny silly fun time happy good time stuff where u get to rp as a superhero irl because mami's head gets bitten off and Homura kills the creature that killed her I think?

anyway Sayaka has this crush on a boy who plays violin but got an injury that doesn't let him do it anymore. She buys him a violin cd and he's like no I don't wanna listen to the violin anymore it makes me sad. She's not sure what to do about this boy and kyubey is like "yo uh, actually I can help, the wish thing remembah?" and she's like "ok. I will :D" and becomes a magical girl.

Thing is the boy's upset that he's cured I forget why but it's not a good thing that she cured him.

I think it's during this arc we meet kyoko. Kyoko is the fundamental opposite to the ideals established by Mami, ideals which Sayaka carries on with her as she begins the magical girl life. Kyoko represents your more typical magical girl (in this world, not in anime), and has a very selfish way of living. Don't think of others, live for yourself. She has this very mercenary way about her. With Mami dead the territory Sayaka is in is free for the taking and she and Sayaka develop a bit of a rivlalry, and she is much stronger than Sayaka.

So Sayaka's doing the magical girl stuff with that inconvenience there and one day gets too far away from her soul gem- which is basically this thing they carry around that gives them their powers and lets them transform- and faints. Then it's revealed that magical girls' entire essences are kept in the soul gem, and they're no longer living in the normal sense? also their inevitable fate is to become witches, no matter what they do.

Witches are the things they're fighting and come from a soul gem never being purified. Fighting witches gives you grief seeds you can use to purify your soulgem, and without them the more you use your powers, the closer you become to transforming into a witch. Sayaka, knowing that she is no longer an actual living thing and will become a witch some day, gets really depressed and dissociates from her entire existence pretty much, going from wanting to be a hero to knowing what she actually is now, and is basically suicidal now? She purposefully lets her soul gem get tainted and even her rival is getting worried about her.

Though, Kyoko might have started to open up to her before this phase of her character? I can't remember. But yeah Kyoko and Sayaka actually become friends and Kyoko reveals to Sayaka that she's become the way she is because selflessness killed her father who was like a church guy and being nice led to his downfall so now she thinks selfishness is the way to live or smthn, and Sayaka is sort of changing her views a bit, as Kyoko actually is starting to care about her.

Sayaka becomes a witch, Kyoko fights witch!Sayaka, and sacrifices herself to defeat her.

Then we see Homura's story.

So Homura was this new kid that moved in, and she met Madoka, who she sorta had a crush on and was ALREADY doin the magical girl shit with mami and Sayaka. She joins their posse and learns to fight, they fight evil, turns out this magical girl stuff is no joke! There's this super strong witch called Walpurgischnat who is basically the apocalypse incarnate that defeats her and madoka.

She and madoka die together but! Madoka saves her I think? Her wish I think is related to preventing madoka from becoming a magical girl at all so she goes back in time to try to stop it from happening. She gets stuck in this time loop trying to save her "good friend" and becomes more jaded with each, going from a shy, scared girl to this jaded, emotionally distant one as she sees these people she once cared about die over and over, with the only one she still allows herself to feel anything for being the one she's so weirdly obsessed with (romantically into). Her singleminded goal of "Save Madoka" drives her down an insane sisphyean spiral of an existence.

Kyubey REALLY wants madoka to become a witch bc she's powerful due to Homura's wish directly involving her (i think) so homura's very deadset on NOT letting that happen.

In this last timeline, tho, Madoka makes a wish that CHANGES THE WORLD! And basically rewrites history so magical girls don't ever become witches and Homura's like

"fuck off oh my god I literally did all this just so you could go away??"

and Madoka's like "well this is what's right, I have to become God sorry m8 :( this is going to help everyone!"

"but what about me???"

"Well you're uh"

"Madoka I'm gay for you"

"Oh uh"

"I've gone back in time over and over again just to save your life and you're now-"

"Well the effort wasn't wasted???? look man I'm god now I'll basically be literally everywhere it'll be awesome. You won't miss me."

"UH YES I WILL" in this scene they are both naked for some reason and have barbie doll anatomy.

In Madoka's new world Homura is the only person that remembers madoka even tho she's God. Also her little brother who doesn't remember her mentions her as an imaginary friend or smthn I think? it's weird. Magical Girls however still disappear after a while and become shadows or smthn? idk. madoka seems to have had a flawed wish afterall. All wishes in this world are flawed, it seems.

Then we have the movie.

(i cant cut it here sorry)

So basically what it is is in new madoka's world Homura finally becomes a witch and her labrynth is all her friends still being alive and her memory is gone but she's starting to notice shit being off, turns out kyubey is doing an experiment on her and she's a witch as I said before, which I think is BECAUSE of the experiment? The other magical girls are actually real and came in there in spirit form? I think? Since Madoka invented magical girl heaven or something, and madoka pulls up to the chaos bc lesbianism or smthn and homura's like "OH HEY!" kisses her and steals her power and is now the DEMON EDGY GOD or smthn.

she basically rewrites history so she can be madoka instead of madoka, creating a swap AU where madoka is how homura initially was and homura plays the madoka role because 1. a shy, dependent madoka won't leave her and 2. madoka is the person Homura wishes she was... I think? That's why she admires her so much. She has qualities Homura wishes she had. Homura is a self loathing person who closed herself off from others emotionally, in this timeline she won't have to and she can keep Madoka for herself. I think that's it. Idk I'm going off of memory here.

Then you have to watch the sequel to see what happens next and I would be a lot more stoked if the other magical girls I saw in the trailer didn't look like lolis (ik magical girls in madoka magica are canonically all little girls but I'm so deeply traumatized by anime at this point that little tiny anime girls make me uncomfortable bc I'm scared of the fans and the ppl working on the projects themselves)

Idk why just wanted to rant about my character that I rp as in my VTM campaign

Soooo our chronicle set in San Francisco 70's started about three years ago and only now finishes (because it's impossible to keep a stable schedule in WOD) and so I finally decided to revisit my character card that I made all the way back in 2022. Turns out, I didn't pay any attention when I was choosing the model from Pinterest back then (I didn't even want to have a real person's face, I wanted to just have male Toreador model from VTMB), because the model was... a photoshopped picture of Ashton Kutcher. Apparently I just didn't recognize him back then, because I didn't even watch any movies with him in my childhood, so this entire time I was playing as a sad anxiety-ridden bisexual Toreador with something that's severely reminding depression... with Ashton Kutcher's face. Now, he wasn't intended to be like this at first:

I love WOD, because it allows you to still have incredible fun, whilst subtly reminding you with its entire atmosphere that you are, in all actuality, fucked, and your existence – is already a tragedy. My character was an aspiring journalist who had a promising future, but stumbled across a Kindred-own gallery that he wanted to expose. He got Embraced by accident, because his sire suddenly felt attracted to him and decided to give him Embrace just so he wouldn't kill him. The relationship between them was as toxic as they come: with light and love slowly fading away from my guy's eyes (his name is Nate btw lol I just found it neatly fitting) while watching as his sire slowly but surely loses all interest in him, simultaneously abusing him both physically and emotionally, and betrays him at the end. At the end, from this golden retriever-type goofball you have a pile of bitterness, filled with angst worthy of Tumblrs golden age, that doesn't have anything it takes to be The Toreador™ (and doesn't want to) and is despised at best by his clanmates (half of which turned out to be Sabbat btw, so nobody cares about their opinion 💅).

I accidentally built him a bit weird for the clan I chose: instead of focusing on social/conversational stats, he is built like an offensive/tank, with him being our primary muscle that takes the most damage, until our Tremere is ready to crit all the enemies. Idk why I just didn't pick Brujah, since that's how I even play him: he's the most rebellious and hot-headed of our coterie, doesn't respect authorities, is liked by Anarchs and doesn't mind dropping the Camarilla if they piss him and his friends enough (only if the alternative pays off more, that is). The only thing he remotely has from the Toreadors is his clumsy and cringey attempts to flirt with absolutely every asshole that's trying to kill us and the fact that he has comically fragile ego with the worst mouth possible. Oh, and he doesn't like art, like, at all, because it reminds him of sire. Since I don't really know how to play as someone else than myself, I just didn't give him enough taste to appreciate anything neither classic nor alternative (he wears Adidas suits and is afraid to let go of his knife) – he's just a dude that's so terrified for his life that he sleeps with one eye open, but is dumb enough to wear his heart on his sleeve. But hey, nothing to worry about, since everyone already knows where he lives, his tiny ass studio apartment is a known thoroughfare for everyone in the Camarilla, the Anarchs, the Sabbat, and even for his current Giovanni bf.

I honestly didn't even like him at first, but when I made him a backstory he started growing on me... 🤕 Oh well.

With October right around the corner I’ve started rewatching some of my favorite horror movies and recently rewatched the first Scream. It made me really crave a Billy Loomis x Stu Macher rp! I would prefer to play Stu, so I’m looking for someone to play Billy! Of course given the source material 🕊️ themes will be present! Violence, gore, toxic relationships, etc. I really don’t want to shy away from any of the dark details or angst! I want to explore how toxic these two are for each other! Give me Billy with a God complex and Stu with his obsessive codependency! I didn’t have a specific plot in mind for this, so I’m open to anything! Maybe Billy and Stu escape Woodsboro and are on the run together but can’t stop the itch to kill? If this sounds interesting then leave a like and I’ll reach out! 🔪

idk if youre still even thinking abt iosef, since those posts were from a while ago but i just wanna say thank you for like. giving him a little depth? he’s easily hateable bc of his role in the narrative but i really wish the overt and obvious abuse he was facing from viggo was like. acknowledged by fans more? anyway thanks for having a lil nuance when you write him

Thank you!! I think Iosef is an interesting just like the other big bads (Santino, Vincent, Jude, etc etc)

He’s easily overshadowed by the fact he killed John’s dog and the fact he’s treated as a secondary antagonist next to Viggo. While yes, Viggo is the main antagonist of the first movie, Iosef sets the story in motion. (Little rant below)

Iosef is a character who I unironically love due to how Alfie Allen portrayed him and also how he was written. I think for someone whose agency dies off right after his opening scene, he still has his own character traits which are almost always glossed over by the fanbase which is unfair seeing as how fans seem to adore a character such as, not to use him as an example but he’s the best I have right now— Marquis who is an enigma and with even worse crimes as Iosef.

I really do think Iosef was somewhat abused by Viggo and it’s clear with how their dynamic is portrayed. Iosef is 26-27 years old from what I assume and unlike almost every other villain(or rather EVERY villain), he has not transcended the ages of self-development and just finding yourself in general. Almost every person says that their twenties are a time of passage and change, which is why most twenty year olds/young adults like myself feel like their lives are a chaotic mess.

I think that’s Iosef. He’s in his twenties, and he doesn’t really have a reputation. He still tries to find validation from other people such as Viggo in their scene talking about John in the bar, and in the Red Circle scene when Iosef gets angry Kirill refers to guarding him being equivalent to that of “babysitting”. Iosef has an ego which most likely stems from not getting that attention as a child or just not being able to formulate attention easily; maybe this is a result of Viggo spoiling him to hell because he didn’t know how to parent or it could be a sign Viggo neglected him. Both of which are likely knowing how crime families work, which have tremendous amounts of abuse from the head of the family and the members surrounding it.

Anyways yeah those are my thoughts on Iosef. Thank you for the ask :D

(Open Rp) Highschool Au in "Legend of the Girl in white"

A Long Time Ago in Sakutopia High School, Home of the Lovely cherry blossoms and the mascot is the Celestial Dragon, Alot Of Students Gossips and heard About this new Students Coming in..and they say that this Girl is Always Wearing White All the time..They Don't know why..But rumors began to Spread as well For many reason, Some Say That She was Once had a Boyfriend For a Long time..but turns out He Cheated on her with another girl and run away with her...Some of them think and said That She's representing Herself as a Virgin and waiting for someone on the right moment..but Most of it thought that Saphira's Boyfriend Got Killed in a Car Accident and she made a vow to wear a white Dress..until she find someone worthy...Then in Home room Class, Alot of Students is getting excited to meet this Mystery White-dressed student. Then Their Sensei Began to Quiet Down the Students and said,

She felt curious to see who is an "angel" That Sent a letter...Meanwhile (Your muse name here) decided to plan on what to do to see her without even knowing that he's a Nerd and Thought of Something in process...until...he got home after school..He'd watch the Movie called "Nutty Professor" (1963, and RIP Jerry Lewis)...When he discovered that he can Make an elixir that would make him Change into a Handsome Guy...then it hits him...so he began to create a Serum and use Many rats to test it..until He Finally Made it , the Elixir is (your favorite color) and its glowing...he knew that He'll use it when the time is come...until the Next Day the Announcer began to Announce about a Lovely a Cherry Blossom Dance is Coming in with in 3 weeks, So Every guys is asking the girls for a Dance..and alot of them trying to ask saphira for a dance..but she rejects them...She told them that She needs to know...who is this "Angel" that kept sending her letters...they wanted to Get to her..and trying to lie to her...but saphira gives them a cold glare and walks away...But then..She saw the letter and it says to Meet him at the Red rose cafe...So..he went home and drink the elixir..and then..he transform into a Whole new different person...meanwhile saphira was at the red rose Cafe...until..she sees the most handsome guy comes inside and she said" Are you an "angel" that send me those letters?" And then he answers...

1: list 3 positive things about your current fandom(s)

First, I'm in more obscure fandoms, so there's not much drama. People are more open to different things because they're just happy to see more stuff for the fandom

Second, most everyone I meet is someone that has been in the fandom for a while. People who really do connect with it and care about it (as opposed to people that just stop by while it's popular for a bit, but leave once the hype dies down)

Third, the fan content that exists for my fandoms is amazing. From detailed AUs to just further explaining something from canon to that joke thing someone claims they 'just HAD' to do, it's incredible and I love it.

11: if you're a writer or artist, what fic or piece of art are you proud of making?

Definitely all my stories in The ScholMander Files. There's really only two people that actually care about this series, but I've had so much fun talking with those two people about ideas for my own fics and theirs, and I've really enjoyed writing these. I've probably written more fics for this pairing than any other single author, and I've got more coming. Which leads to....

14: the ship that always makes you smile

There's a few for this, and a lot of it has to do with RPs here. It's a tie for me between:

☆ ScholMander (Milo Thatch/Commander Rourke from Atlantis: the Lost Empire) - This is probably the unicorn of the fandom in terms of how rare it is. But having written so much for it and even RPed it, this is now canon to me. These two are just so sweet to each other I'm surprised I don't have cavities yet. And it all started because I saw some photoedit fanart that had an image of Rourke with an arm around Milo and I couldn't stop thinking about that image. Now, they are canon to me.

☆ Clu x Tron/Rinzler (from.....uh.....Tron) - This is largely due to RP threads I've done on here. I honestly hadn't thought of this until I started RPing it with people here,but now I love it. Especially Clu and Tron as sort-of-parents for Beck. Ugh, the sweetness!

☆ Halman (Hal 9000/Dave Bowman from 2001: A Space Odyssey and its sequel movie/books) - This is probably the one canon ship I'm into, and yes it is very obviously canon, especially in the sequel movie 2010: The Year We Make Contact when they have the following exchange:

Hal 9000: What is going to happen? Dave Bowman: Something wonderful. Hal 9000: I'm afraid. Dave Bowman: Don't be. We'll be together. Hal 9000: Where will we be? Dave Bowman: Where I am now.

I mean, it's even more obvious than Spirk (which I also love) and that's saying something. Just the way these two care for each other is just so wholesome and sweet. It's the one ship I don't see much smut stuff for, and honestly, it doesn't need smut, it works so well. They are just so good to each other. Dave does not want to kill Hal, he does it because he has no choice and (my interpretation) he figured out at that point that something was wrong, that Hal was 'sick' and Dave didn't want to see this person he cares so much about suffering anymore. But when Hal is brought back in the sequel, Dave takes extra time during his short visit to check on Hal and make sure he's okay and ultimately saves him from a second death, after which they literally spend eternity together.

what made you pick up the current muse(s) you have? ━━ Well, I suppose my love for the character came first and foremost, but I had some ideas about him that I wanted to explore. I started out writing some fanfiction for him on AO3, but found that I really wanted to interact with other writers in the fandom, and roleplay is the most straightforward way to do that! I'm really enjoying it so far!

is there anything you don’t like to write? ━━ There's a few things I prefer not to roleplay, the first and foremost is Jilco. Sorry you will just never catch me doing anything concerning that. Another thing is Silco getting his way 100% of the time. I like there to be struggle in most aspects of his life and work. He doesn't make it easy on himself with his choices, and it gives me more to do in roleplay.

is there anything you really enjoy writing? ━━ I love writing Silco getting himself injured or in peril. He's delightfully stubborn, which usually ends up with him getting himself into some terrible situations, in canon and otherwise. I also really enjoy writing him being protective over those he cares about, because he expresses those emotions in such a unique way from other people.

how do you come up with headcanons? ━━ Usually I just get inspiration from a scenario I'm writing or a perspective I'm exploring. Silco makes his opinions pretty openly known in the show, which gives me a great base to start from. Another blessing of the great writing team on Arcane. So yeah, most of the time I just search for inspiration. Sometimes I turn to ask memes and quizzes, but other times I just think of it on my own.

do you write in silence or do you play music?  ━━ I have to have music on. I have entire playlists dedicated to characters I play, and Silco is no exception. His playlist mainly comprises of dark techno, industrial, and some alternative pop. It's mainly music that either matches his character or the vibe of The Last Drop under his reign. It just helps me get into his mindset with a touch more immersion.

do you plan your replies or wing them? ━━ I try to plan where I can, but also leave things loose enough that it doesn't feel like it's railroaded. I prefer to have heavy communication with my rp partner, and a general direction of where the thread is going. Goals, themes, tropes, etc etc. That being said, I also don't mind having a bit of improve for shorter form roleplay, where there's a paragraph or less to write at a time.

do you enjoy shipping?  ━━ With Silco? It depends. He's not exactly a very open person with his love since Vander, but it's not impossible. When he does form a bond with someone, it's usually deep and passionate, regardless of its type (platonic, romantic, familial, etc). I've had some interests, but really I wait for my rp partner to bring it up, because the last thing I'd want to do is overstep! Let's just say I'd be happy to explore it with the right people.

"I won't let you decieve me! You're not going to betray me too!!!" Arceus snapped out, hatred and fear in his eyes as well as pain and paranoia as he stared down into Chara's confused, fearful and also concerned eyes and expression as he rears back, preparing to end the child's life...

Arceus when he first comes back to his dimension and the moment he starts attacking chara cuz paranoid, severly injured, terrified, betrayed, confused etc (from the original timeline in the arceus movie when he still thought "damos" betrayed him and dropped a bajillion boulders and shit on the bew and- ye. before ash and co go back in time and its changed and shit) without realizing chara wasn't like that at all and going to betray him as well like "Damos" had.

In Arceus POV it was either him or her at that moment.

alsoooo cuz i just realized Chara's Gyarados would be there too since chara doesnt have pokeballs to keep it in since they dont exist yet when arceus attacks her but then right at the last moment (right after this frame) chara ended up leaving it behind in order to escape- and the gyarados she has travelling with ash and them was a different gyarados (implying the one arceus originally gifted her ended up dying/sacrificing his own life in order to help chara buy time to escape through arceus' portal that was still open when he returned home from michina) *and even- that original gyarados managed to get up again and wrapped its body around arceus to prevent him from killing/crushing chara, so she can run away but because its so heavy she had to leave it behind if that makes sense-

Also I know the fairy-type technically didn't exist yet when the Arceus movie first came out, but I decided to retcon the type in anyways (plus anyways, Fairy doesn't neutralize electric so it doesn't really break anything anyways) but ye.

Fairy Arceus to make Chara's first original Gyarados' Dragon Rage attacks not do shit to him- which further adds to why and how Chara's Gyarados eventually dies in this scene to protect chara. --

Hello, roleplayers!

Let me introduce myself first: 30F, I write in a literate style in 1st or 3rd person. Even though English is not my first language, I'm a teacher, so I've mastered it well. I write a lot as well, 600, up to 2000 words, or even more. Naturally, during the dialogues, my responses can be shorter. I love to OOC, send you moodboards or fanarts, and create a playlist together when I'm invested in a story. Let's create something beautiful together! I'm located in Europe, CET, but I don't mind you being from another time zone. Since I'm an older lady, I'd strongly prefer if you are at least 21+, not only because of the themes we are going to touch but also because I'd love to connect with people of a similar maturity level.

Now, on to the fun part!

As the title has it, I'm looking for Thor for my Loki. I'm open to any story involving these two, but the one that's been itching my brain in particular, is a story set in Viking times, Norway and/or Iceland.

In this particular RP, I'd love your Thor to be a jarl, a Viking ruler of a smaller settlement, known for his bravery and conquests. Ever since he was born, there was a prophecy foretelling his great future, the discovery of Vinland (today's Canada), and the union of the world of men and others (we can, naturally, change that part). During a brave journey in search of Ultima Thule, something further than Greenland, Thor stops in Iceland by a befriended jarl for stocks and rest. During one night at the feast, the envious jarl kills some of Thor's men and wounds him badly.

He managed to escape on a few ships and get to a small settlement in Greenland. That's where he's cured by a local witch, who sacrifices a polar bear for his safe return from Hel. This witch, as it later turns out, is Loki, a shapeshifter, who comes originally from huldufólk (hidden people), the Nordic type of elves.

Basics:

I'm semi-selective and mutuals only for threads and open starters. IMs and Asks are always open to talk to me about plotting. So, if you want to interact, feel free to message me. Writing Rules:

I write paragraph style, no asterisks. Please use a minimum of two sentences per reply unless we’ve known each other for a while. Your grammar and English do not have to be perfect. So long as I can get the basics of what you’re saying then we’re fine to continue.

Shipping:

Shipping and smut only happens if there is chemistry between our characters. Muses must have a first meeting before any shipping officially happens unless muses know each other in canon. Communication between muns is key.

This means that if your muse has not met Koala in the One Piece manga or movies then our first thread is your muse meeting her for the first time. If that thread goes well and there is chemistry, then we can talk about shipping.

Unless there's a lot of communication and relationship building, Koala will not ship with Marines.

Canon and OCs:

This blog is OC friendly and encourages them to interact. So, please, if you have an OC, feel free to message. My only requirement is a profile so I can get to know your OC. Please try to use only 1 - 2 OCs per thread, otherwise it is overwhelming and I have a hard time with replies.

Warnings:

There will most like be violence in these RPs. Koala has a very dangerous job and she is trained to kill. RPing with her will lead to violent and painful situations eventually.

Dark themes may happen. They are a part of life as well as a part of One Piece. If something in particular bothers you, tell me so that I can tag it for you. Slavery is a key piece of Koala's backstory. it's such a large element that it won't be tagged.

Smut:

Smut is only for Muns and Muses over 18. Also usually only for RP partners I’ve become friends with. If your muse works well with Koala, there is a possibility of shipping and smut.

Triggers:

I will try to tag most triggers. Still, something may slip by, my apologies. Remind me if I miss something so that I can tag it.

The Ones We Left Behind

November 17th, 2012, Big Pharma announced that they’d come up with a Miracle cure that would prevent the extinction of humankind. The President, with the support of the House and Senate, signed a bill in order to make the miracle cure mandatory for all US citizens. Slowly but surely, the miracle cure is administered to all the citizens across all fifty states. Everything returns to business as usual, weeks pass and December 2012 comes and goes without the world ending in the way everyone expected. December 16th, 2012. The day the American Citizens realized that the Miracle Cure was neither a Miracle or a cure. The cure, in theory was a great idea. However, just like most great ideas and great intentions, adding in humans sent everything awry. The Miracle Cure, as Big Pharma was slow to admit, had never been tested. Not on animals, not on humans, not at all. That meant they had no data on drug interactions and side effects. That was just the tip of the iceberg. The second issue, which wasn’t discovered until it was much too late, was the contamination of the entire batch. A gentleman by the name of Miles Abernathy was admitted to a Seattle hospital with a laundry list of symptoms that couldn’t be pinned down to one single disease or illness.

December 17th, 2012. Miles Abernathy was no more. The morning of December 17th, a nurse was sent in to change out the IV that had been providing Miles with a cocktail of drugs that would’ve killed a variety of pathogens. She’d found him huddled in a corner, rocking back and forth, grunting and groaning. She’d approached him. He whirled around and revealed that he was no longer the human male they’d admitted to the hospital the previous night. He had become something that most people only knew from movies, tv and videogames… A Zombie. He ravaged the Nurse, tearing off chunks of skin, killing her almost instantly from the shock. He rampaged through the hospital going after everyone blindly, slowly but surely creating what is now known as patient group zero. 

 November 17th, 2020. It has been eight years since the inital discovery and creation of patient group zero. The United States dissolved into chaos. More and more people slowly turning into zombie shells of their former selves. Even the president himself was not immune. From the chaos, rose a group of survivors. They called themselves The Patriots. A reminder of the country that was and the hope for rebuilding. Another group rose to challenge them, The Syndicate. A group of bandits with no hope or light, simply the need for survival and to make sure that they always had the best goods for killing what wanted their bodies for food. The people amongst these two groups were either the immune or those who never had the chance to get the Miracle Cure in the first place.

Since then...Other small communities have popped up across the united states. Branches that claim to be associated with either the Patriots or the Syndicate. Groups that bear no affiliation at all. All of these groups arose with the same purpose: A need for order, a need for direction. The differences between them are what set them apart. Who keeps the order, why the order is needed, etc. Will you find yourself committing to an order imposed by one of the main groups? Or one of the independents living in peace with the earth around them. Regardless of where you are aligned, everyone is in danger, everyone could succumb to the same fate as those before. The goal here is to change the future for the better, not succumb to the miracle cure that started this descent in to madness eight years ago.
