Ah, I'm sorry! I don't mean to worry you!! o(TヘTo) Or anyone else here either! I don't know if I mentioned it here on the blog, but one of the reasons I don't update often, or only a few times a day, is because I have Hypersomnia. It's a form of Narcolepsy, I believe. Basically, I'm always tired. Always. And I sleep for long periods of time ;w; My usual sleep cycle is about 12-15 hours each day/night haha. I struggle to wake up a lot, only really when I have to use the bathroom or am forced to eat. If I don't eat, I get a migraine (Which i also have chronically. One of the many chronic issues I have. >.>) After I wake up, I'm still incredibly tired, and could go back to bed and take a nap. It's that bad. (Add chronic fatigue into it... It's rough out here gamers) Then I have work and chores to do! (Along with other life stuff, like family drama I gotta deal with OTL) I try to take breaks and write between stuff, but it takes a while, especially when I'm having a super sleepy day (；′⌒`) Don't worry though! I do try and eat at least 3 times a day, drink a lot of water first thing and through out the day, and I try to exercise when I'm not too tired!! ...It is hard sometimes though haha. Again, sorry for worrying you! I just didn't want to make personal posts too often either, since I didn't want to flood people's notifications either! I also don't want to sound like an attention seeker. Would that be the right term?? I DO have a lot of stuff going on, but I don't want to drag people down/ruin the mood about it, you know? I'll try reblogging more stuff every often when I am in the middle of writing, so the blog isn't as quiet! (❁´◡`❁)

Hugging the LOV!

Tomura:

First off, you can’t tell me this boy isn’t touch- and affection-starved.

If you try to hug him outright when you join the League, he’ll straight up decay your ass.

But if you wait a bit and he starts to coddle up to you... he’ll only threaten to decay you and grumble while you’re wrapped around him.

Also he’s super bony.

He’s pretty thin-statured anyway, right, but when you hug him, it almost feels like you can feel every bone in his body. So sometimes he’ll kinda push you off because surely, that’s not comfortable!

He’s afraid of touching you or returning your hugs most of the time because of his quirk. Which kinda eats him alive. You get to coo and coddle him like the sweet thing you are, and he can’t return the favor. What the hell?!

You’re too good for him, he thinks, so romancing him is no easy deal and has to be done entirely through physical affection (when he allows it) and following him as leader. You gotta trust him with everything you have before he’ll trust (or touch) you.

Most of your hugging happens when no one else is around. He’s the leader, he has to retain respect, after all. But like I said, he’s touch-starved, so he secretly can’t get enough of your hugs and will revel in them.

When he’s feeling down and lonely, you’re the first to know. It doesn’t matter what kind of relationship you have. He’ll show up to your room at 4 in the morning and pound on your door to wake you up, he doesn’t care. Hug him and give him attention, damn it! Love him.

Loves it when you pat his head while you’re hugging him. Treasures it. If you stop suddenly and bring your hand down or something, this man will literally grab your wrist with his thumb and middle finger and plop your hand back on his head.

And if you run your fingers through his hair? He is mush and he will not hesitate to shove his face into your chest to hide the blush.

Mr. Compress

So, this is probably odd, but I can see Mr. Compress being the “dad” of the group I’m sorry Twice but you’re the mom, bud. I really don’t know why

So, if you hug him outright upon meeting him, he won’t exactly like it, but he won’t try to kill you like Tomura. Maybe he’ll give a little pat on your shoulder and an awkward comment to try to get you leave him be.

He is an entertainer, though, so if you hug because you enjoyed one of his tricks? Well, he won’t mind at all and have no fear, dear, he has more up his sleeve!

Definitely gives the kind of hugs where he gives a good pat on your back with one hand and if he’s close to you, cradles your head in the other!

He’s the only member of the LoV who wears a hat, so you gotta be careful not to knock it off his head. If you do, he’ll probably just laugh it off and spin it on his finger or some other neat trick! If he really likes you he’ll plop it on your head!

One of his favorite things to do while he’s hugging you is plop stuff in your hair or in your clothes (like pockets, etc.) to see how long it takes you - or the other members - to notice. Or, he’ll pull stuff from said areas and show it off to you.

Probably the most open out of the whole league to hugging you when you’re feeling bad. You’ll have to go up to him, though, and give some sort of signal that you want a hug.

For some reason, I see Compress as being the only League member to actually wear cologne, so be prepared to smell it! It probably won’t be anything expensive, but it’ll be there.

Thinks it absolutely adorable if you wrap your arms around his neck from his side and just... hang there. That’s one of the quickest ways to get him to fall for ya!

Himiko:

Suuuper huggy herself, although she’d be very confused if you hug her outright while meeting her. Might try to stab you if you do.

But once she warms up to you? She’s constantly hanging off you in a hug. It doesn’t matter what kind of background or relationship with her you have. She’s pretty much always touching you in some way.

If you’re taller, she absolutely will wrap her arms around your neck and lift her feet off the ground, keeping her knees at a 90 degree angle and hanging there. If you’re shorter, though, she’ll definitely try picking you up and lifting you!

Himiko will pout and huff if you deny her a hug, and is not past begging! She’ll give you puppy dog eyes and all! Might even fake cry if she’s particularly clingy...

She loves to rub her cheek against yours (almost like a cat) when you hug, as a sign that she likes you and enjoys your attention. She’s really needy in that aspect.

It’s pretty easy to make her jealous if you hug someone else, but you can easily make it up to her by giving her a big ole hug immediately after. Maybe even head pats. Definitely head pats.

If you’re out on a mission and almost (or actually) get seriously hurt, she’ll rush to you when it’s safe and nearly tackle you in a hug! She literally jumps off the ground to pounce on you.

If you manage to catch this girl’s eye in a romantic way, you best be prepared for allll the hugs and cuddles. And if she sees you hugging someone she doesn’t know, well, you have to physically hold her back from trying to kill the poor sod. Which doesn’t do much. Because they usually end up either dead or hospitalized the next day, depending on your relationship with them.

Because she loves hugs so much, she doesn’t really have a favorite type of hug. But she loves to tickle you unexpectedly while you’re in a consensual armlock!

On a good day, hug her and you’ll smell cherry blossom perfume and fruits. On a bad day, well... we don’t have to talk about that.

Loves to run her arms up and down your back, almost frantically, for some reason.

Twice:

So, I think it’s safe to say Twice will go back and forth between giving out hugs all the time and not at all.

At heart he loves them, but oftentimes when he’s dealing with his trauma especially badly, it just isn’t something he can handle or really wants to do because it takes all of his energy to keep calm and not split.

Would just kinda lean away awkwardly patting your back if you latched onto him early in your career in the League. He doesn’t wanna be rude but- get offa him, you creep!

But it doesn’t take him long to warm up to you, especially if your personality is bright and cheery.

He thinks the League needs someone like that and welcomes you with open arms.

Honestly doesn’t know his own strength and about 87.99% of his hugs are almost bone crushing but bone crushing with a good heart so you honestly can’t hold it against him especially when he pulls up his lower lip in a pout of apology

Do you like getting tossed into the air and spun around like a rag doll when getting a hug? Because hugging Twice is how you get tossed into the air and spun around like a rag doll when getting a hug.

Although, his favorite hugs are the ones from behind.

When he’s feeling particularly down, a quiet hug is the best way to pick him up!

Deadass he would measure you with the false idea of “just in case” he ever needs to make a clone of you for combat reasons, but it’s actually for when he wants a hug from you and you’re not around because he’s just kinda bashful like that sometimes.

If you’re really close, even dating, I think he’d rarely let you see him without his mask. He’s just afraid, it’s not that he doesn’t trust you in some way.

But if you manage to convince him to take it off and actually help him cope even a little, he’ll never let you go. You’d mean too much to him by then.

Dabi:

Absolutely do not try hugging him so early in your joining the League. He won’t threaten to set you on fire, he’ll actually fuckin’ do it.

Even if you banter sarcastically and bitch at one another and you’re overall his type to get along with, it will take him a long time to even get to the point of letting you put a finger on him.

So firstly, you have to ease him into the idea of hugging. Start with something small like standing closer to him than normal, then move to affectionately squeezing his arm. He won’t like it and might nag at you, but he won’t try to barbecue you for it! That’s too small of an interaction and he honestly is too lazy to do anything about it.

Besides, even if he doesn’t know it right then, he doesn’t entirely mind it. He’s gonna keep you at arms’ length, but that doesn’t mean he’s going to, literally.

When you finally upgrade to full-on hugs, he loves it when you bury your nose into his neck. It doesn’t always feel great because of his sensitive skin there, but it’s a cute gesture, he thinks.

Of course, he will ruin it with a snarky or suggestive comment accompanied by a smirk. The horndog.

And god help you if you manage to romance him.

Every time you hug him, he’ll slip his hands into your back pockets if you have any, and if you don’t? They go straight underneath whatever you’re wearing and directly to your underwear - or, if he’s particularly frisky, your plump ass.

When you’re pulling away? He’ll give your ass a nice little pat. That’s loud. Always loud.

But, his favorite hugs are the ones where you’re straddling his lap and he gets to rest his chin on your shoulder. If you have long hair, he usually keeps his distance from it because staples but he loves to smell it, too.

When he’s feeling down, he’s the polar opposite of clingy. Good luck getting him to even tell you - in one word - what emotion he’s feeling, let alone allow you to dote on him.

He really doesn’t love seeing you hugging anyone else, so oftentimes he’ll march over and hug you from behind or something to kind of show who’s boss!

Spinner:

Spinner is awkward with hugs! He’s not really used to people hugging him because they’re either afraid his scales will hurt them, or the friction will hurt him.

So when you hug him for the first time, he’s totally awkward and shy but tries to put up a big scary front, mumbling and sputtering something about carrying on the legacy of the Hero Killer: Stain. It pretty much fails. Miserably.

Because it flusters him and he can’t really hide it! But he wants to be all tough and mighty! He’s a villain, now, after all. But he doesn’t entirely mind your hugs at first.

When he’s used to it, though, it’s the best part of his day. You hug him pretty much every time you greet him, and he loves not only your touch but the opportunity to act tough.

He absolute adores it when you cling to his arm! It makes him feel tough and gives him the feeling that he could definitely protect you - and that you trust him to do so.

Oh oh oh but don’t mess up his scarf! He’s a bit sensitive about that, and you can figure why. But otherwise, he doesn’t exactly mind it if you tease him by messing his hair or clothing. Obviously he’s gonna (fake) gripe at you for it.

I’d imagine his body temperature is lower than normal, so he’d be really cool to the touch.

If you manage to romance him, like Dabi, he’d be pretty possessive and love showing you off by letting you like onto him at any given chance.

Like I said before, he loves it when you cling to his arm, but he also loves it when you hug him from behind. It makes him feel sheltered and loved, for some reason.

When he’s feeling low or weak, he’ll definitely rest his forehead on your shoulder, arms hanging at his sides, trying to coax you into cradling him and just holding him.

Sigh. So after the light ordeal I went to Subway for a 6" sub. Get home and open it up. I asked for tuna with onions (extra onions) and black pepper. I find tuna with just a few thin slices of onion and green peppers. The tuna isn't even spread to the end of the bread and over half the tuna isn't even tuna salad. It's a big block of tuna that wasn't mixed in with the mayo and stuff. Also, my Internet hasn't been working the past 2 days and idk why, so I gotta use mobile data. Awful days OTL

[ 365 Days of SasuHina || Day Two Hundred Eighty-Four: Apple Pie ] [ Uchiha Sasuke, Hyūga Hinata ] [ SasuHina ] [ Verse: Best Years of Your Life ] [ AO3 Link ]

Though he never would have thought as much when he was first shoehorned into this class, Sasuke has to admit...Home Ec has grown on him. While he’s still a good student and honestly enjoys most of his classes at least somewhat, there’s just something really...nice about that class in particular. Sure, it’s not just baking cookies everyday, but it’s become a nice change of pace compared to everything else.

He tells himself it’s because the class is just so...different. He’s actually learning some handy skills, even if most guys wouldn’t bother. He’s handier in the kitchen than ever, knows several ways to sew by hand (and how to use a machine), and they’ve even broached into things like human development. Never did he think he’d know so much about babies...but, well, you never know. Maybe he’ll have to...deal with one someday.

But if he’s honest with himself - truly honest - there’s another very big factor to why he’s come to enjoy the class as much as he does.

Strolling into his last block of the day, Sasuke finds himself to be a little early, and almost alone. There’s an away basketball game, and several of the girls typically present are absent, either as part of the team, or the cheer squad. Along the whiteboard, he reads the daily instructions. Apparently, given the low class percentage, they’re just having a free day.

Before he can stop himself, Sasuke perks up...because he knows exactly what that’s going to mean.

“Hi, everyone!”

Turning, he gives a lax wave to the only other senior in the class: Hinata Hyūga. “Hey. Seems we’ve got a free day with the game today.”

“Oh?” Like him, she seems to brighten at the notion. “That’s great! I’ve had a recipe I’ve been wanting to try with you!”

“Yeah?” Sasuke does his best to temper his reaction, despite the warmth the notion brings him. “Something we can finish in class?”

“Well...it might go a little over...is that okay?”

“Yeah, I’ve got nothing to do. A few teachers lightened up because of the game, so I’ve got hardly any homework.”

“Me too! O-okay, we’ll do it then!” Digging into her binder, she pulls out a recipe with a grin. “Apple pie!”

Sasuke blinks, looking the paper over. “...is it very sweet?”

“Well, sort of...but the apples are a bit sour, so that sort of...balances it out?”

“...okay.” He won’t admit it, but he’s not quite so put off by sweets anymore. Not since meeting Hinata.

The pair move to the kitchen wall, first gathering their ingredients and a pie plate. “So I actually use a different pie crust recipe...it’s just a few ingredients you mix and press in the plate, and bake with the rest of the pie! It’s so much easier than rolling stuff out,” Hinata offers, flipping the page over and showing the separate crust instructions. “You want to do that, first?”

“Uh, sure.”

“Great! I’ll start peeling and cutting the apples!”

Having not actually made a pie yet, Sasuke follows the recipe carefully, wary of messing something up. But true to Hinata’s word, it’s actually pretty simple. Mixing up the handful of ingredients, he smoothes it along the bottom before announcing, “Okay, now what?”

“Here, mix up the spices and sugar for the apples - I’m almost done!”

He does as asked, not bothering to quip or question. By now, the pair have done enough baking together to just know how to go about it. Hinata leads, and Sasuke follows. In all reality, he’s probably gotten enough practice to lead himself, but...well, he hasn’t given that a try just yet.

Hinata pours his mix over the sliced apples, coating them well and putting them in the pie plate atop the crust. “All right, I think we’ll do the Dutch style topping.”

“...what’s that mean?”

“It’s a crumbly sort of top, rather than a solid sheet of crust!” She shows him how, pulsing the ingredients in a food processor until they form, well...crumbles! “Now we just spread this over the top...and there we have a pie! It has to bake for about fifty minutes, so...we’ll run over class by a little bit. But I don’t think the teacher minds.”

With the oven already hot, it’s Sasuke who puts it in, setting the timer. They tidy up, and then...it’s time to wait.

As per usual, they pass the time on their phones, the instructor hardly caring on such a relaxed day. Hinata plays a mobile game, Sasuke browsing a forum he frequents.

But eventually they get bored.

“So...what’s your favorite kind of pie?”

“I honestly don’t eat much of it. Too sweet most of the time.”

Hinata makes a face. “I still don’t understand that…”

“Well what about you?”

“I’d say...lemon meringue.”

“Lemon?”

“Mhm!”

“What’s...meringue?”

“It’s egg whites and sugar, beaten together until it’s light and fluffy! You bake it, and the tops turn a light brown...it’s so good. Maybe we’ll try one next time! It’s actually pretty simple.”

“I could maybe do lemon if it isn’t too sweetened.”

The bell eventually rings, and the pair linger, their teacher more than used to them staying past the bell. It’s not too long before the timer dings, and Sasuke retrieves the pie. It actually smells...really good! Cinnamon and nutmeg just might make it tolerable.

“Want some ice cream?”

“Is...pie really not enough?”

“Apple pie and vanilla ice cream are like...a match made in heaven!”

“I’ll pass.”

“How about caramel sauce?”

Sasuke blinks owlishly. “...I think it’ll be sweet enough.”

Hinata dishes some up, indulging in a little bit of some ice cream left over from the day they all made a batch by hand. And then she seems to hover in wait, eager as always to see his reaction.

Sasuke takes a bite of his own, chewing thoughtfully. “...I like it.”

“Yay!”

“It’s not so sweet.”

“I went a little light on the sugar for you.” Hinata then digs into hers, humming happily.

“...you know...I’m gonna be really sad when this class is over.”

That makes her pause. “...are you...switching next semester?”

“Dunno yet. But I only needed the half a credit.”

“Oh...well, I was going to stay. There aren’t really any classes I need in this block next semester.” She gives a halfhearted smile. “It’ll be sort of l-lonely without you.”

“Yeah...I’ll have to see what the guidance counselor says. My dad’s riding me pretty hard about pumping up my grades for applications.”

“Well, that makes sense. It’s important. I’m still not sure what I’m doing next year, so...I’ll admit I took a bit of an easier road than I could have.”

“It’s different for everybody. Gotta do what makes you happy, too.”

“Yeah…”

The pair sink into a slightly awkward silence. In truth, he’d be more than happy to stay. And surely his mother would support it. His father, on the other hand…

“Well, if you do switch, I’m still glad you were in here,” Hinata then offers, smiling a bit more warmly. “It’s been a lot of f-fun teaching you stuff!”

“Yeah? It’s been nice learning it. Maybe we can still make some stuff after school sometimes, when we’re not too bogged down.”

“I...I’d like that!”

“Then consider it a plan.”

The atmosphere then lightens until he gives the clock a glance. “But, speaking of...it’s getting kinda late. Think we should go?”

“Probably...want to take some pie home?”

“Sure.”

They each take a few slices, Sasuke sure his mother would like some. If only Itachi were home, but...well, that won’t be until Winter break. The pair part ways in the hallway, Sasuke going to pack up his stuff for the evening. The thought returns as to what to do come the end of the semester.

He really does want to stay...and surely half a credit won’t make that big of a difference, right? Maybe he’ll talk to Mikoto about it...sighing and picking up his bag, he leaves the school behind, apple pie carefully nestled in his backpack.

     (This is a sequel to days 98, 108, 139, and 227!)      I have...fallen another day behind OTL Yesterday was just exhausting, in more ways than one, so...I took the night off. I'm sorry ;n; I probably won't have time to catch up until at least the end of October since I have another challenge going on, but! Hopefully by the end of the year I'll be done on the last day, aha~      Anyway! More of our cute lil Home Ec AU. I really do love this one, it's just so stinkin' sweet. But it seems we have a little bit of a plot conflict...Sasuke might be leaving the class? Say it ain't so! We'll have to see what his decision is come the end of the semester, but...at least he and Hinata will keep on keepin' on no matter what!      But with that, I really need to get to bed, lol - thanks for reading!

Update~

Okay, my lovely little shoppers. I have an update for you! Since I feel like I’ve not been around all week when in reality, yes, I’ve not been here all week. Haha! So  a couple things!

NEW DIET

I’m tired of being overweight even though I know there are people out there who have it worse than I do. But once upon a time, I had lost 30 pounds and I felt great! I miss that feeling. And I miss other things about being healthy. So I’m on a mission. That’s actually the biggest reason I’ve not been around all this week since publishing the first chapter of Girl Meets Evil.

I’m changing up what I eat, how much of it I eat, and when I eat. Not to mention I’m going to be taking advantage of my free membership at the county rec center since I’m a county employee. I miss weight lifting so much. There’s just something really rewarding about it. So yeah. That’s a thing.

I’ve just been so focused on coming up with this plan that I haven’t even had time to focus on writing or to even think about it. This new diet plan has consumed my every thought. Today I actually need to go do the grocery shopping for this stuff and then I gotta go find me some bluetooth headphones so that I don’t cause an accident with my ancient cord headphones.

I have a request that I’ve just really been struggling with but I think I’ve finally FINALLY got some of the details figured out. It’ll be different from what I’m used to writing about but I’m finally happy with where my ideas are going now. So hopefully after I get sorted out with Moon Monsters, I can work on this little project of mine~

I’m really hoping to get some writing done tomorrow but we’ll just have to see. Today is so packed with diet stuff that I dunno if I’ll get to any writing today. OTL huuhuu

I’ve been getting into more Chinese dramas lately, thanks to A Love So Beautiful. (Mainly modern youth dramas for now tho.) Currently watching My Mr. Mermaid and Meteor Garden (2018, obvs). Before, I actually have started watching Shan Shan Comes to Eat and Love O2O two years, though I’ve put them on-hold and haven’t touched either ever since. (I’ll prolly have to re-watch them from the beginning. OTL) Anyhow, one of the similarities of the first three I mentioned is the leads’ height difference and it’s too adorable! Gotta love my tall boys+small girls ships. (Especially Hu Yi Tian and Shen Yue in ALSB! Seriously!)

Trying to work in earnest and I think I'm tuned to the right wavelength for once, as in, actually want to do it and don't desperately seek to distract myself until it's time to go to sleep. I wish this had happened months sooner though. OTL

Also wish I could just stay home and work tomorrow, but there's a stupid meeting lined up (someone please kick me off this council already), followed by a team seminar that I wish I could just skip.

Talked to my cousin who only got Covid in early June, having inexplicably dodged it despite being a teacher and having been exposed countless times. She's still not well with odd symptoms, unfortunately.

Extremely hungry today and wondering if it's PMS. Forgot to pick up more evening primrose oil capsules, they've been pretty good at mitigating the symptoms (I still haven't tried the agnus castus pills I bought along with the first batch of those, as it seems the evening primrose is a) milder and b) enough).

I'm also eating sugar these days and way too much of it. I need to try quitting again, it is easiest to do in the summer and maintaining minimal sugar intake isn't even hard. But I've still got some of the KitKats I hoarded in Seattle left, and icecream in the freezer... Gotta deplete those stocks first.

This may be taking things too far, but has Keith ever offered Shiro an open relationship?

I’ve been staring at this ask for way too long that I’ve come to a conclusion that no, Keith didn’t offer Shiro an open relationship. OTL

Keith may be insecure that he can’t give Shiro what he wants, when he wants. He knows what he lacks to the point he even thought about maybe he should change. Maybe he should give in to what his husbands wants. But that’s not who he is and it makes him feel uncomfortable and Shiro knows that.

April 24, 2017 Official first day of my attempt at veganism. All good except for that Kashi bar. it tasted good, satisfied a craving, wasn’t *too* high in cal, pretty filling….and had a bit of milk and honey🍯 in it apparently. Otl. Gotta start paying attention to the ingredients list and not just nutrition facts. But! I feel like today was pretty good, I didn’t eat any of the greasy food my family bought. Upside of being so fat is when you diet or turn down food (especially unhealthy stuff), you get told good job. If only they knew that I wasn’t dieting, and that the BED they had ignored for years had morphed into full on ana behavior/EDNOS. Oh well. In any case, I’m pretty full right now since I just drank 2 bottles of water after eating. I’m starting to gradually become more and more uncomfortable with feeling full lately though. I feel like being full=gaining weight. Bleh. Gym in the morning so I can feel less gross

..... she has so many vegan recipes and you can make really fantastic meatballs with tempeh that have crazy high amounts of beautiful protein !!! also yes you should definitely invest in some B12 or stress B complex pills. this become more important if you ever choose to go vegan and i wish you the best of luck !!

oh also ehhhh i would reAlly recommend protein powders to make shakes cause its not just like 'ooo a drink that only gives me protein' theres also a bunch of unhealthy shit and chemicals in the powders and much better ways to get protein

Hogwarts House: I feel like I’ve mentioned this on my blog, but I can’t remember when, so...I’m a Hufflepuff by ~choice~. I was actually Hatstalled on Pottermore! That means that the Hat couldn’t choose between two Houses for me, and literally gave me the option to choose. The other House I could’ve chosen was actually Slytherin, lol. I have no idea how I got Hatstalled between those two, though it makes for an amusing story.

Favorite Color: Can’t remember if I said this on Tumblr or Discord, but it’s actually red. Chuunibyou me used to call it “blood-red” or “crimson-red”. But in terms of clothing, I tend to pick black, gray, or dark blue! (because they’re easier to wash than white clothes :3c)

Favorite Animal: If it has fur and eyes, I’ll probably think it’s cute by default. Furless animals like reptiles and birds are fine as well! But as for my favorite...it’s actually the snow monkey! The sole reason is the fact that they look like cute mini-grandpas when they’re chilling in hot springs:

Average hours of sleep: I have the ability to sleep like 18 hours thanks to the wacky sleep schedule I cultivated during university. But now that I think about it, it’s more like 6-8 hours on average. Huh. Surprisingly normal.

Cat or dog person: Please refer to the screenshot in the next question~ I’m a dog in the Chinese zodiac (y’all probably can figure out my DOB from the stuff I’m writing in this post, though it’s honestly not a secret since I’ve said things like “I’m Suwawa’s age” like a bajillion times lol), and my dream is to own a dog once I get my own place! I love cats as well though - I spent a lot of time petting cats in Korea and the Netherlands.

Favorite Fictional Characters: Everyone in µ’s and Aqours is precious!!! But it’s kinda obvious who my favorites are from my blog description, haha. Here’s what I’ve said before:

Nagato Yuki was actually my all-time favorite character when I was in high school. I pretty much died when I saw her alternate universe version in the movie, even though I knew what was coming since I read the light novels. :’)))

Number of blankets I sleep with: Usually one, but sometimes I use two in the winter (comforter + thin blanket). I dislike having cold feet/hands - the major plus to being smol is having warm hands, actually! It’s from sleeves being always too long for me, resulting in me being able to keep my hands insulated as a result.

Favorite Singer/Band: I don’t really have any particular favorite artist - I usually just happen to like whatever genre I’m into at the time - jazz, rock, classical, pop, slow ballads, and so on. Aside from LL music, I guess I mostly listen to random Korean and Japanese songs. Soundtracks from movies, games, and shows in general are pretty great!

Dream Trip: Airbnb in Europe! I’ve been to the Netherlands and Belgium, but I didn’t have too much time to explore since I was only there briefly (I literally spent a single day in Belgium) for a study abroad program. I actually joined Tumblr in 2012, but I only used my account for a year to reblog assorted memes and anime gifs. There wasn’t really any theme to it (unlike my current blog, which is firmly in the LL fandom), which is probably why I quickly lost interest. I wonder if I even remember the password to my old account...not that I really want to log on, since reading my old tags and reblogs is embarrassing (even the URL is just...OTL).

When did your blog reach its peak?: I suspect it was that “Is there anything that You CAN’T do???” post I made towards the beginning of the LLS anime that started getting my blog attention. I do know that out of my top five posts, at least three of them are shitposts (specifically, from my Love Live SINshine series)...possibly four lmao, I haven’t looked too closely. I did get some attention for my analyses and translations, but not as much. TBH, I’m not surprised that memes rather than rambling won people over! :3c

What made you decide to make a Tumblr?: Yeah, about that...

Birthday: The day that LLS Episode 13 aired.

Relationship status: Single, and will probably stay that way until I rectify the fact that I’ve literally fallen asleep at a nightclub, and then ditched my friends there to go eat dumplings at 2am, because for me, apparently hunger > “thirst”.

Siblings: one younger brother (who probably thinks I’m a loser for still reading manga and stuff)

Wake up time: Generally, I’ll wake up naturally sometime between 9 and 10am. If I’m feeling lazy, or if I stayed up really late the night before, I’ll sleep in until like 1 or 2pm. In college, I’ve woken up at like 7pm before because my sleep schedule during university was, well...

In Korea, I’ve been waking up at about 7 or 8am though, so that I can eat breakfast with my relatives before they go to work!

Lemonade or sweet tea: Does yujacha count as sweet tea? :’D If not, then lemonade.

Day or night: I’m a night owl. I also prefer sunsets and the night sky over sunrise.

Coke or pepsi: I actually dislike pretty much all carbonated beverages now that I’m not the sugar fiend I used to be when I was little, but younger me preferred Coke.

Calls or texts: I call family members if it’s been a while since I’ve talked to them, and I also use phone calls when I have to explain something that I’m either (1) too lazy to do through texts since the explanation is long, or (2) lowkey unable to do since I’m much better at speaking than writing in Korean. Otherwise, I pretty much communicate through messages/texts.

Ever met a celebrity?: Do judges and international officials from the UN count? I got to meet a few when I was studying abroad in the Netherlands. I also met with Hannah Song (President and CEO of Liberty in North Korea) when I was a summer intern for a leadership program in Koreatown, Los Angeles.

Ah, but to actually answer the question in terms of pop culture people, the majority of the celebs I’ve met in recent memory are from university events/performances/shows, and include:

David So, a YouTube comedian. He gives pretty good hugs btw~

Dumbfoundead, Korean-American rapper.

Jay Pharoah, SNL comedian.

Judah Friedlander, actor who’s probably best known for 30 Rock; I took like five pictures with him in various poses lol.

Mike Song, founding member of Kinjaz and former member of Kaba Modern (the dance crew that stole my heart on ABDC).

Shin Lim, a world-champion magician. Seriously, check out his Penn and Teller episode he’s legit a wizard; also watching him live was fucking insane!!!

There are a few more celebs (mostly Asian-American artists lol, since I was hugely involved in the Asian culture clubs in university), but I can’t remember them all, since “meeting” them mostly consisted of taking pictures and small talk. Though for a few of the people on this list (especially the ones close to college age), I hung out with them during the post-event party and stuff. Pretty entertaining to see a magician renowned for slight-of-hand play beer pong. :3c

Also, I just realized that everyone on this list is male, lmao...I did meet several Asian female rappers/singers from college events, but for the life of me I can’t remember their names. :’)))

Ah, to rectify that - when I was in junior high, I saw Jennette McCurdy at the Anaheim East West Ice Palace. My brother and I spent a solid five minutes elbowing each other and muttering “Isn’t that Sam from iCarly?” / “No way!” / “Isn’t she supposed to be an ice skating pro?” / “Why would she come here?” / “Dude, she lives in the SoCal area and this place is home to the legendary Michelle Kwan, why wouldn’t she come here?” / “Wait, I don’t even like iCarly, so why are we talking about this?”. Then the poor girl started getting swarmed by a crowd of preteens asking for her autograph, so my brother and I decided to just let her be and skated off peacefully.

As a final note to this long list, when I was in elementary school, I think I might have seen Tim Allen in an Apple Store? I wasn’t sure because the guy was wearing shades, so I just walked past him without doing anything.

Smiles or eyes: EYE SMILES. tbh one of the reasons I love Shukashuu is her great eye smiles!!!
