Huge news today! I’m pleased to announce we are now importing the Hampshire Sheen line direct from Martin in the UK. I had a great time making the waxes but after talking with Martin while we were at UKIWS, we decided that it was time to import! I have Original, Gloss, Black, Bronze, White, Gold and Silver waxes plus wax sticks and Intrinsic Colour Concentrates available right now. I will keep manufacturing the TiWax here in St. Louis as that is what I used in my DVD. The website is loaded and product is ready to ship. The #zinnsser #shellac went on well for most of the box, but I ended up messing up the lid. I'm going to wait for it to fully cure, and then #sand it off. The cabinet doors are coming along.... I m so in love with this off white.. it's called snow drop and I want to paint everything in it!! I m going to stencil the other cabinet door tomorrow!! I m enjoying revamping the kitchen - it needed it - these kitchens date to the middle 80's!! I know because my parents had the same one... exactly - it's like a time warp! Maybe it s why I felt so at home when we walked in?! Reliving my youth through kitchen cabinets !! 😘😂 I can't wait to see it finished - I m so excited - I just have so much going on as well! I m thinking of replacing the carpet in the back hall with wood...... sanded pallet wood -- sanded and sealed of course... slightly decoupaged... I made this box some time ago, but I recently made some changes. I stripped the wax, and #sanded the #walnut to 2000 grit, reapplying some #blo or #boiledlinseedoil and some #minwax #finishingwax . I also added a pair of #rareearthmagnets to help keep the sliding lid closed.
