The #zinnsser #shellac went on well for most of the box, but I ended up messing up the lid. I'm going to wait for it to fully cure, and then #sand it off. I made this box some time ago, but I recently made some changes. I stripped the wax, and #sanded the #walnut to 2000 grit, reapplying some #blo or #boiledlinseedoil and some #minwax #finishingwax . I also added a pair of #rareearthmagnets to help keep the sliding lid closed.
