my new pokemon have so many naming specifics it’s so dumb

it’s not important and names are pretty minor details especially in minor characters who play a small role in overall story but liek gawd. ok isolated example milofini munofini and makokura all have m names and are the only three of the eight with an m in their name and I made them m names cuz m is one of if not the easies letter for babies to pronounce .. HELP…. for muno/mako it was for the sake of making them seem more like guardians and milo is a literal baby it’s literally all centered on that fact .. the i milo is pronounced like ee instead of eye bcuz it is a softer pronunciation.

pilapila (pea-luh) and nokipiya don’t have specifics like that but their names were Desigbed around eachother and made to be pronounced together. pilapilanokipiya is really easy to say very fast just try it it’s very fun too. nokipiya i wanted to give a cute name cuz it contrasts his personality and finifini uses the same name structure as pilapila (Same first last) because finifini is closest witj pilapila (Fish bonus)

pila and piya are very similar anyways and are pronounced relatively the same aside from the third letter

rioafini was originally rikafini which i changed cuz is a very feminine name rioa was what I went with mostly cuz it nearly breaks naming rules which is in line with his personality (and also o/a are masculine/feminine endings to words so I said why not do both)

anwyays this is all ramblgings but names are very important part of self expresion in ocverse so to center your name not around a god but around the people you love is very profound and poweful. love that looks like worship . Stay friends forever ok
