In our fast-paced world, it's easy to get caught up in the hustle and bustle, continuously connected and on the go. But sometimes, the greatest moments of clarity and inspiration come when we have the courage to pause and step back.
Just like a painting needs negative space to highlight its beauty, our lives can truly shine when we create room for reflection and rejuvenation.
Stepping away doesn't mean giving up; it means gaining perspective. It allows us to recharge our souls, reconnect with our purpose, and rediscover the blessings that surround us every day.
So, my blessing to you today is to find the strength to take a break from the screens, the noise, and the distractions. Find solace in nature, in prayer, or in the company of loved ones. Embrace the silence and let it speak to your heart.
In those quiet moments may you find the answers you’ve been seeking, the inspiration you’ve been longing for, and the strength to continue your journey with renewed vigor.
May you have the wisdom to step away when needed and the courage to embrace the profound insights that await us in the stillness. Wishing you a blessed and transformative day!

"Navigating the PR Realm: A Candid Journey of a Beginner Seeking Inspiration"
Ladies and gentlemen, gather 'round for the tale of a PR beginner who's a hilarious whirlwind of creativity... or at least that's what they tell themselves! Picture me, a PR novice with more enthusiasm than a puppy chasing its tail, armed with a keyboard and a mind overflowing with "out-of-the-box" ideas that may or may not have fallen off the box entirely!
But let's be real here, folks. I'm in a bit of a pickle, or should I say a jar of expired pickles, because lately, my idea well has run drier than a desert without a mirage in sight. I've brainstormed to the point where my brain feels like a hamster spinning on a wheel, desperately searching for that one brilliant, game-changing concept.
They say comedy is tragedy plus time, right? Well, I've had plenty of time, but my tragedy seems to be that my ideas fall flatter than a pancake stepped on by an elephant with heavy boots. It's like my creativity took a vacation to the Bermuda Triangle and decided to never return, leaving me high and dry like a stand-up comedian without punchlines.
But fear not, for in this moment of comedic crisis, I'm ready to embrace my lack of ideas with open arms and a chuckle in my voice. Because you know what they say: when life gives you writer's block, make jokes about it! So, strap yourselves in for a PR journey filled with humor, self-deprecating wit, and the determination to find inspiration in the most unexpected places (or maybe even under the couch cushions).
Sure, I may be fresh out of ideas, but that just means I have the unique ability to tap into the vast realm of the absurd, where the bizarre and the brilliant collide in a dazzling display of comedic chaos. So, let's dive headfirst into this wild and unpredictable world of PR, armed with laughter, resilience, and a healthy dose of questionable sanity. Get ready, because with me at the helm, even a blank canvas can become a masterpiece of hilarity!
Now, if you'll excuse me, I'll be over here, desperately trying to squeeze some creativity out of my funny bone. Wish me luck, folks!

Currently trying to see a couple of months into the future when spring has arrived. Took Maggie for a walk to @templenewsam recently. I always head for the glasshouses & the geraniums. They’re not in their full glory yet and lots of planting needs to be done, but it still inspired me to create this little floral pattern. 🌸 Where do you go in the winter months to lift your spirits or find a bit of inspiration? I’m thinking near to you, not jetting off on a plane to somewhere amazing! Something all of us can access 🥰 Also, does anyone use Tumblr? I just set up an account & this will be my first post on there. I used to use it lots years ago, then forgot about it until recently. It’s incredible for imagery, so naturally I love it. Though I haven’t got a clue how to use it! #maggiemagoodesigns * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * #templenewsam #glasshouses #leedsartist #staylocal #exploreyorkshire #beinspiredbynature #inspiredbyflowers #surfacepatterncommunity #quiltersgonnaquilt #quiltlovers #floralfriday #floralfridaycompetition #textilelove #patternlovers #findinginspiration https://www.instagram.com/p/CoMoT6xIosC/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

Finding Your Writing Spark
Every writer knows that finding inspiration can be a fearsome hurdle to overcome. But thankfully, there is inspiration all around you, even when you don’t realize it. Listen to what NaNoWriMo Participant Winona Sharpe has to say on finding the spark to keep those flames burning!
Finding inspiration is one of the most difficult things about starting a project, but it can also be genuinely exciting. Feeling motivated to take on challenges big and small is easier when the spark of creativity is lit. We each have our own stories to tell—no two people will find the same things shouting out to them, “Write about me!” No matter the genre, the length of the project, whether you plan everything out or write by the seat of your pants, the following suggestions might be just what you need to feel inspired to write every day, every week, or every November.
Setting:
Consider where your story takes place. Often, I think less about setting than the other aspects of my writing, so I wanted to start here. Building your world can be as basic as you like, but a solid foundation is key. Here are some tips that you can try:
Watch a travel documentary and pick some features to use in your story. Local cuisine tells a lot about a place, but it can also make you really hungry, so use with caution.
Find a photo of a location that intrigues you, or study a map for reference—it could be historical, modern, fictional, or a map of an entire solar system. Who doesn’t love a good map at the beginning of a fantasy novel?
Start small. Choose a street name. In your world, what buildings might be found on that street? Keep zooming out until you have explored enough to get writing.
Characters:
Your characters may have quite detailed backstories, or you might not even know their names at this point. Learning who your characters are is one of the most magical parts of writing.
If you listen to music while you write, create a playlist for individual characters using songs that say something about them. When you want to get into character, so to speak, listen to those playlists and find that the words come easier.
Start a collection of images that illustrate your characters. Keep them in a notes folder, or save to an Instagram Collection. It’s not procrastinating if you’re looking for inspiration!
Museums and art gallery collections from around the world can be an excellent source of character ideas. What artifacts would your character study, or what might their contributions look like? The possibilities are endless.
Plot:
Whether you need inspiration for a story outline or a single scene, coming up with interesting scenarios can be intimidating. We have access to so much media online that it can feel like your story has already been told, when that couldn’t be farther from the truth.
Draw on myths and legends for high-level structure. Go with a tale you know well, or research stories from other parts of the world. Retell those heroic legends in your own voice.
Games are full of interesting encounters. Whether you’re into role playing games, board games, video games, or are more of a bystander, games are ample sources of inspiration.
Create a virtual mood board for your story. Simply browsing photos on a mood board can inspire you. Your mood board can help set the tone, theme, and even hooks for your story. Use it to its full potential.
Find the things that speak to you and use them in your writing. A single word, image or song can sometimes be all the inspiration needed to kick off a productive writing session, or better yet, a whole novel. Whatever form your muse takes, use it to propel your story to new heights.

FINDING INSPIRATION
21.04.20 Not being in college where I shine the best in terms of producing work, be inspired and learn more skills, it has been tough. At the beginning, I lost so much faith and hope in producing work from home because my passion is nature and wildlife. I live on a country lane and surrounded by fields so I could easily go on a walk and do some photography of the trees and fields; but my work is much more than that and obviously I cannot travel anywhere with everything that is going on. When I do go on a walk, I will still take the advantage to do some photography, but it gets to a point where it’s repetitive. At this point, I’m thinking to myself, “I have so much potential with the work I have been producing in college for the last 4 years, so why can’t I express the same potential but at home?” I had to think long and hard about what I could possibly do at home.
I researched for some blogs and articles of people releasing their photography at home and I was inspired by selected accounts. From as simple as photographing an empty milk bottle to photographing a collage of household props. I found inspiration from these blogs and Pinterest and thank goodness it drowned in a range of ideas I wanted to produce myself and use my knowledge and skills that I have at the moment. It’s been difficult to remain positive, motivated and happy being on lockdown and being restricted to do your normal day to day activities. But I have found the beauty in the small things.
This image is of two small twigs picked from a bush in my garden in my bedroom window, on a bright Spring day.

Where do you draw inspiration from for your dolls? Im trying to do some more dynamic poses with Myko for my shop images and Im pretty happy with how well the #minifee body poses while staying up right haha Still my main issue is finding poses that she can hold without falling over. Ive been scanning Pinterest a lot for modeling #inspiration but humans can do so much more of course. I must admit I am tempted to try a squatting position but what if she looks like she is taking a 💩?! 😆 . . . . #monstrodesigns #bjd #minifee #balljointeddoll #doll #dollartist #posing #bjdphoto #qotd #questionoftheday #findinginspiration #modeling #photooftheday https://www.instagram.com/p/B3LJgKFgjvY/?igshid=1t24uaossqmum
