ok heartstopper trailer review because i have so many thoughts

first off all i really hope that mr ajayi plays the role of charlie’s emotional support teacher. like he just seems to give off ‘openly queer teacher who all the queer students flock to’ vibes. or at least i presume he’s openly gay because off his rainbow flag pin. also charlie goes through so much like smh he deserves an emotional support teacher.

the secret boyfriend is ben isn’t it? 😭 god the scene after the rugby practice with ben is gonna make me tear up so hard. honestly i have so many thoughts about the ben storyline but that’s a post for another day.

it’s nick!!! omg im so obsessed with the cinematography. their first meeting means so much to me you don’t even know. it’s gonna be so fun watching them interact for the first times. kit and joe are definitely gonna be incredible showing us the awkward gay energy they have at that point.

obsessed with the way they look. elle is an utter goddess (as is yasmine). tao’s looking iconic as ever with his beanie. i stg joe is the only man who has that broccoli hairstyle that i trust. also the uniforms are so accurate and radiate such british energy. god i can’t wait to see the chemistry between the paris gang it’ll be perfect i bet.

THE CORNFLAKES BIT OK SO THIS IS MY MOST BRAIN GO BRR BIT. so im guessing we might get some ed content in season one?? maybe not 100% explicitly but there’ll probably be hints i hope. like mental health is such an important part of heartstopper and id hate for anyone to think charlie is neurotypical. also this could be a set up for a season two…. 👀 👀

THEY SAID HI!! honestly the ‘hi’s are so iconic they should call it histopper. plus im obsessed with the slight gay panic on charlie’s face. kit and joe really do understand the characters relationship and IT SHOWS.

like i said, this scene is gonna make me so emotional. probably the eleventh time ive said this this post but my god the way charlie looks at nick. not the mention the sheer cinematography in these shots. the colours? beautiful.
