Your HC for Teja Desai X MC

OMG Nonny thank you!! I love Teja but have never been able to put out a lot of content for her (mostly because I started disliking RCD more and more), but I have quite a few headcanons! I did a Domestic Bliss HC one long back, and here are a few more:

- The topmost (and foremost) HC is that Books 2 and 3 never happened. The rest of the series is a travesty and I refuse to accept they happened.

- I HC'd that Teja was out to her parents early on (she was out to her brother Tarun first), and while they struggled a little, they didn't take it as badly as she thought they would. They did show interest, reading up and asking questions though. She also had quite a few cousins who lived in Jersey - that family was pretty close-knit. They were the third set of people she came out to, and to this day if a distant relative tries to badger Teja or make smart remarks, most of them are ready with a smart remark back.

- Sophie and Teja LOVE food trucks and LOVE snacking. Bulgogi burritos are their favourite.

- They're the kind of couple that will stop a movie in the middle just to discuss points that they think they'll forget later.

- I'd like to believe they have two ceremonies when they finally get married: a traditional Maharashtrian wedding (similar to this) and another one in a gazebo nearby for Sophie's family.

- Because it sounds like a fun thing to do, both Teja and Sophie have their initials hidden away in their mehndi designs.

- Victoria is very fond of Sophie, and they share a bit of a mentor-mentee relationship, so Victoria is only too happy to officiate the second ceremony and dance like a diva at the reception! 😁
