Yay, finalllly magic.

Feels weird to have been playing Sims without magic for so long because when I first played Sims 3, I got the game with the Supernatural pack, so I started the Sims series with magic already in the game.

My thoughts on the pack so far...

The new world looks really cool! Love the floating spacey other dimensional design to it. From the trailer they make it seem like you go there through a portal like the hidden lot locations such as Sixam or the Hidden Grotto, but if I had to guess for a massive new location such as this it will also be accessible from the Map Screen like the Island Bluffs and Ancient Ruins in the Get Together Pack.

I’m also interested in the “non-magic” place they show where the portal is. From the distance shot they showed it reminds me of a setting that would be in Fable.

New Build-Buy objects look dope! Stain glass windows? Potions? and many other very aesthetically pleasing wizardry and sorcery items? YES!

Wands and Brooms?! Black Clover TIME!

Overall the pack kinda gives me a strong Harry Potter vibe and I have never even watched Harry Potter. I do have a handful of my own sims in mind that will benefit nicely from all the new magic stuff, so I am pretty excited about all that. And the new world will be amazing for taking photos!

Only thing bad thing I am seeing, which has nothing to do with the pack itself and is more of a personal thing is the release date. September 10th... Pretty sure I will be wrapped up with Borderlands 3 (September 13th) and a little game called Monster Hunter World ICEBORNE! (September 6th.) And there’s also the fact that I am still busting myself over getting my sims game back to its former self after my HDD decided to die on me.
