A pet. 

                 Rory had finished his last play for the season. And his last show of the year. So he wanted to go celebrate the best way he knew how. At Andy's diner with a cheese burger,  fries and a chocolate shake. He was happy to be eating for the first time today. He'd got his finalcheck from the drive in theater the next town over and boy did the food smell good. He sat alone at his usual booth. Watching the tv in the corner flash from image to image as he sucked on his milkshake. Trying to pass himself for the arrival of his food. He didn't have anyone to celebrate with. He didn't go out with anybody from the Playhouse and his less than peachy socioeconomic status kept him to himself at most times.

               So when a dark ,mysterious and oh so handsome stranger suddenly- nearly like magic- occupied the empty side of his booth. His pretty blue eyes shifted from the magic box to meet his. But with a shiver down his spine and pink blush forming they were quick to return to the sitcoms. He just didn't know what to say or do he was so nervous.
