Recently, I watched The Black Cauldron for the first time. This scene reminds me of a Sofia after the show, probably around 13-14, struggling to handle and contain her emotions, because of her trauma and just growing up.

Sofia is of course Princess Eilonwy, lashing out, coming to tears and running away, Fflewddur is Cedric, trying to diffuse the situation and calm Sofia down, Taran is likely one of her classmates, or perhaps someone she met on a protector or storykeeper mission.

The scene of Cedric playing with the magic globe in Cedric the Great, is a reference to Charlie Chaplin in the film The Great Dictator.

oh i wish i thought the same as you but i think they would feel so betrayed specially because i feel like dts and maybe even ferrari themselves would make it seem like charles is ungrateful

i am a bit delusionally optimistic i fear. though i will say, i think if dts is going to pick a side, it's going to be charles'. i mean... look at that 2022 season coverage. very favorable to charles/emphasizing that ferrari was throwing his chance away. since then, charles' stardom and popularity has grown significantly. i dont think dts would want to take that gamble: they can get just as interesting a story by supporting charles and joining in the blame-ferrari-for-wasting-their-golden-prince bashing, and they won't lose their actual audience (because yes, dts is not designed for super involved fans; it's designed for the mildly interested general population who want to be amused and maybe pick up the sport. the mildly interested general population likes charles.). that'd be like dts deciding to demonize daniel, imo.

i don’t mean to be nitpicky but it really grinds my gears that ‘tom holland’ is trending on twitter just because men on the internet are making the same dumbass joke pulling a screenshot from the Challengers trailer where Zendaya’s kissing the two male leads and saying FREE TOM HOLLAND!!! SAVE HIM!!! tom holland biting his fist rn!!! tom holland punching the air rn!!! someone check on tom holland!!!! like. shut up oh my god

Have I mentioned I have this corner on my wall by my bed that is just printed out pictures of Cedric from my mini printer with an additional picture of this blue wizard with "AUTISM" text above said wizard which I call the autism wizard,that is above the Cedric pictures for a reason and that I printed it all out last year and I call it my Cedric corner
