Would it make sense for an MBA graduate to pursue an EMBA later on in his/her career? Is it rare to have both an MBA and EMBA?
Yes, it can make sense for an MBA graduate to pursue an EMBA later in their career. In fact, many professionals who have already earned an MBA choose to pursue an EMBA as a way to further enhance their skills, expand their knowledge, and advance their careers.
An EMBA program is designed specifically for experienced professionals who have already earned a bachelor's degree and have significant work experience. This means that an EMBA program can offer a different set of benefits than an MBA program, such as specialized coursework and a focus on leadership and strategic thinking.
Having both an MBA and an EMBA is not common, but it is not unheard of. In fact, some professionals choose to pursue both degrees to demonstrate their commitment to continuous learning and their dedication to their careers. However, it is important to note that pursuing both degrees can be time-consuming and expensive, so it is important to carefully consider the benefits and costs before making a decision.
