It was a day of bits and pieces canning! 3 quarts of tomatoes 1 pint of Mexican flavored tomatoes 12-1/2 pints of pizza sauce 11 pints of green beans The tomatoes are finally coming into their own. This morning started with a fascinating tour and talk at the Energy House at Salford University. It was very reassuring and comforting to learn about all the hard work being done to understand how best to conserve and reduce energy consumption in our homes. It really inspired me to ensure I always consider the thermal properties of materials used and how to conserve energy when designing interiors.
