i have a lot of feelings about The Art of Craving. it’s going to get a bit incoherent from here on out (so pls bear with me), but I just HAVE to let you know my thoughts on this.

first of all, wow. you write about babies so well. nari’s baby babble, baby body language, baby behavior… everything about her was so perfectly baby and the way you described it was so amazing. AND HER BABY BELLY TOO OFC!!! i remember your answer to my ask about whether you worked with kids, so it was no wonder at all that you’d nailed writing about nari the second time in this new one-shot. not to mention her interactions with everyone, but especially with her daddy and oc.

which brings me to my second point.

jungkook was such a good dad, but i mean who was surprised? not me. so, really, i want to talk about oc and nari.

oc was so good with nari. warmed my heart so much.

and i couldn’t help but find it fascinating, because oc had never liked kids much before she met nari (she mentioned it in the first one shot). is oc just… naturally good with kids, but she never knew that about herself because she never interacted with kids much before nari? according to seokjins wife, nari is one of those toddlers who doesn’t take to strangers easily; which means either A) oc is just good with kids and something about her just makes babies feel safe with her, or B) ….

or B) …..

OR B) …..

B) NARI IS NATURALLY DRAWN TO HER FUTURE STEP-MOM 😌😌😌

but that’s just wishful thinking though 😔😔 a bit of a relief that nari met oc when she was only 1 year old… because IF things end between her daddy and oc (please don’t break them up, im begging. idealization still traumatizes me to this day), at least she won’t have any long-lasting memory of oc—therefore, no attachment.

but it was CLEAR to me that jungkook and oc had caught feelings for each other.

you don’t bring your friend with benefits to an intimate BBQ with your closest friends, especially when you have kids. and you certainly don’t talk about them often to your group of friends.

and most of all, you certainly don’t act like PARTNERS WITH A BABY. LIKE??? THE WAY JUNGKOOK AND OC SEAMLESSLY DID THE MOMMY-AND-DADDY ROUTINE AROUND NARI??? SEAMLESSLY DIVIDING PARENT TASKS BETWEEN ONE ANOTHER?? IM SORRY BUT YOU DONT??? DO THAT??? WITH AN FWB??? FWB MY ASSSSSSSSS DAS A MARRIED COUPLE RIGHT THERE!!!!!!!!

ahhh nari's round little pudgy self <333 i didn't know i would like writing her as much as i do, so thank you for the reassurance and letting me know im describing her babyisms well enough!!

oc is one of those people who claim they don't like kids but as soon as they get around them, they just melt. especially if the baby is cute and well behaved and/or funny. as for her and nari, they have a special bond that's surprising to everyone and oc doesn't really get it either (her being like girl idk when jins wife asked about how she got nari in the water lmao). perhaps it could be either A or B 😳

jk n oc moved kinda fast!! like if nari wasn't the one that 'brought them together' i feel like they wouldn't be in as deep as they seem to be (timeline wise it's been about 4 months since taow). jk probably would have waited a substantial amount of time to introduce oc to nari. but since that was out the window from the beginning they kinda just fell into a faux family routine because they mesh really well.

jk does have super strong feelings for oc but... he's a lil scared of commitment after the divorce... so do with that what u will 😁👍🏻
