Collect all four! The main (and probably only) advantage of having so few figures released these days is that you can complete your collections more easily. However, with the rising popularity of The Mandalorian, it seems ironic that the amount of figure releases has come to the lowest in decades. With the finale of the sequels (and Clone Wars for those who weren’t interested in the sequels that much) I feel reminded of the time after Return Of The Jedi came and went in 1983. The toys kept coming out until 1985ish and then there was nothing for a few years. Most of the post ROTJ figures are now the most sought after Kenner figures to collect. I wonder if we are going into another dark ages for Star Wars now. Maybe The Mandalorian will keep Star Wars from going down there but even then, it’s an entirely different Star Wars than the one I grew up and was fascinated with. Today’s Star Wars seems to be moving further into the direction of Marvel super hero movies. I am not exactly a fan of them. That doesn’t mean that I don’t enjoy The Mandalorian, I do. It’s just that it feels different to me.
