#fic: untitled jeggy a/b/o with a sickfic vibe

Since a few of you asked, here’s the general gist of that Jegulus fluffy omegaverse fic idea I mentioned here.

SO, Regulus is completely in love with James but thinks James sees him as family due to the familial bond James has with Sirius. It has gone on for so long that it’s affecting Regulus’ health. Like his preheats or getting longer, more crampy and just generally an awful time. Of course James is really worried about Regulus’ health, but Regulus refuses to explain anything.

The fic then takes place mostly during one of those preheats with James making sure Regulus is settled in. Like I really wanna have a scene where James is swallowing up all his feelings and holding back all his jealousy while he asks Regulus if there is anyone he should call on Regulus’ behalf, because above all else he just wants Regulus to not be in pain.

Regulus is just trying to get James to stay just a bit longer because James’ company is such a nice distraction. Like it starts out with James sitting by the side of Regulus’ nest while they talk, idk how just but it will evolve into cuddling. I'll make it happen. James is just getting more and more worried that he’s gonna end up staying for too long and fuck thing up completely.

Regulus is not at all being clear with what he wants, but they do figure there shit out eventually and they have some very tender handholdy cuddly sex, and James ends up staying for the actual heat. They probably also end up having a giant argument about whether they such get mated. Like Regulus is playing all his cards to get what he wants and James is just over there with his “maybe we should go on a date first, because what if you regret it??” not knowing that Regulus has been pining after him for years already.
