The trapezoidal Seat 1500 (1963-1972), equipped from 1969 onwards with the bold, four-eyed front of the in-line six-cylinder Fiat 2600.

If you look under the hood, however, there was only an engine with the power of the square styled Fiat 1500 L behind it. Nevertheless, it was already considered a car worthy of a chauffeur in Spain in the 1960s. As the front bench seat was officially approved for three passengers, up to six people could travel in the car.

They have almost completely disappeared from the Spanish streetscape.

A fun thing I liked about visiting Mexico was seeing cars and small trucks we don't get in the US. The Chicken Tax is largely responsible for the lack of these small trucks being imported into the US.

In the US we have the big Ram 1500. Here is a modest Ram 700.

This is a Fiat Strada (which I believe is what the Ram 700 is based on).

I can't find my own picture, so this photo is from the internet. It's the VW Robust, probably my favorite of the small trucks I saw.

This Dinamo three-wheel vehicle is certainly unusual. A minotaur-like device, it sports a motorcycle up front and a long bed in back. I would have chosen "Mullet" for a model name.

Scooters galore.

Not a true statement there. I saw little scooters carrying three people. One ferried a box nearly the size of a coffin. Several had dogs riding on the floorboards. One man carried three scuba tanks. Another had two huge bags of coconuts. I didn't take pictures of them so here's a row of parked scooters.
