Unpopular opinion but I really didn’t care much for LB3.

Most of the characters could have been switched out and the only reason Xiang Yu and Jing Ke aren’t able to be is because of Consort Yu and Qin Shu Huang being chosen but even then they could have been switched. Yu is just nasuverse wank that was applied to a random woman and Qin Shi Huang could have been any tyrannical emperor in China which there is no shortage of.

Red Hare and Chen Gong did literally nothing the whole time and Mordred I felt was chosen to be a popular face but there’s plenty of other rebels in the Throne. Spartacus, I don’t care much for, but he is legit the only character that was interesting and fun in this list belt besides Jing Ke for me. And it’s cause of their interactions with the villagers. I thought this lostbelt was great up until our march to the capital and that’s mainly due to me loving character interactions to develop them (heck America is my favorite singularity because of exactly that).

Now the plot was fine and I did appreciate what Urobuchi’s point of the lostbelt was and I agree on why it was awful for people. The execution was great, just it was all plot and not a lot of substance besides Qin Shi Huang who just felt like an arrogant idiot to me since he preaches constantly about how super cool mega awesome sauce his world is but is so blind to literally everything and Consort Yu...that in itself is a whole bag of obnoxious. “You can’t understand her pain of losing love,” “You can’t understand why she hates people so much,” “You can’t understand why...,” etc. We get it, we don’t understand the burden of immortality, literally something everyone who has read any book about it knows already cause it gets lectured to you. I get it sucks not being able to ever see your beloved again but when it is literally all fixed within a minute it cheapens her whole character which I don’t care for in the first place. She was only made this way to sneak true ancestors into the game which is pointless for a soon to be revealed reason and was only given that outfit to get saint quartz summons. Again, all stuff that could have gone to any number of random of Chinese figures, wouldn’t be the worst they’ve done to China. That said, still better than LB2 by a looooong shot.

So I have to say this somewhere so it gets out of my head: Mash's second outfit skills are fucking shit

what where they thinking with that update. I'm not mad they nerved her. I'm mad they made her borderline unusable (at least for me - I'm putting her on my team out of sheer stubbornness and love of her character)

Mash was a really good support servant. Her defense was the cornerstone of a lot of my strategies... but man it's not the same anymore with the new skills

Why oh why should mash buff her buster cards? Her attacks are shit.

Why is the fill NP Gauge now on the second skill? Why does she get nothing out of taunting anymore?

Why the fuck do you punish leveling up the third skill? What's with the fucking life loss? (Which you can level up because there is nothing I want to do more than rob my Tank servant of more life)

And at last: why the fuck is her most important skill (giving defense to others) now behind a NP-paywall?

Do you.... do you want me to stop using her? Cause there are other servants who can taunt...

And it kinda feels bad to just have her tank her two taunt hits and then pray that she dies fast because all of her attacks are shit!!

That is not the way I want to play mash

I like Mash, I like her character. I ' m not even mad that you nerfed her. Just give her a decent skill set. Please....

So did it mean we gonna have a retcon? Vashaki Shakti's description was never used in Karna's life.

Also, Bhima's bio mentioned Ghatokacha.

Without being able to understand a lick of Japanese, from what I could guess about the next Ordeal Call, we're probably (FINALLY) addressing the root of Fujimaru's trauma, while Chaldea's Servants have to pretend to be normal-ass people in their dream world? Also, certain other Servants (two very specific ones in fact) seem to have filled in the blanks so to speak, and are projected into the role of their family?

which begs the question DOES GUDA CANONICALLY HAVE A LITTLE SISTER??? OH MY GOD, AS IF THERE WASN'T ENOUGH ANGST FUEL FOR FANFICS ALREADY...
