Favourite thing to debate?

oooh thats a good question :D

ngl im far to shy irl to debate (and too argument avoidant lol) and not the best at articulation (nor the most knowledegable) BUT i do love to yap about lots of things;

this term (late feb) well be taking an ethics course abt a lot of things that are debated both universally and in medicine, so i look forward to that :3

my interests lol (though idk if it fits the debate category bc its a one sided infodump lkjhdfio) like the islamic golden age my beloved and different character interpretations (like in the mythos)

ig i gravitate to topics that tie into academia; like education centric prompts are always thought provoking and intriguing to me (both as a seeker of knowledge and my parents being lecturers its always been a point of interest for me)

looked up a few categories and society/ social issues caught my eye as well, kinda bc i have insight on a few lol i think i could come up with okay arguments and defenses? mayhaps

if i had to choose maybe id talk abt religion (esp islam) in a sort of debunking & raise awareness way, its deeply rich and diverse yet ignored history and contributions to knowledge, but also multifaith intersectionality? how cultures influence faith? i pains me to see how in this day and age ignorance and bigotry still reign supreme, i think id like to contribute in the little ways i can.

also faith (and lack thereof) is a personal choice above all and no one has the right to strip u of ur freedoms or force their ideas and beliefs onto you. that faiths are in some way connected by similar messages, and that as long as critical thinking and media literacy exists and is exercised humanity can indeed flourish once again. idk tho
