Happy Dragon Age Day to the fandom that pulled me out of my creative lull and inspired me to grow again. I am so thankful for all the wonderful friends I’ve made & I can’t wait to see the future we have in store. 💙 I wish I could have drawn every single one of you, but I’m still proud of all I got done, especially with the flu.    “I was concerned given of the state of the nearby village, but...” Asharen leans in deeper into the small shed, taking refuge from the rain outside. For all that she had heard of Ferelden, she didn’t expect it to be quite so wet. Her long braids dripped water as she made space for the rest of her companions to come into the small room. She cleaned some of the mix of sweat and rain from the side of her face and forehead.

Ren lift her eyes from her own armour to him, to finally take a good look at him. Well, she hadn’t expected to actually meet him. Hawke could have told her in more detail who she was meeting beyond her Warden Contact. The depictions given of him didn’t do him quite enough justice but it was enough to know that it was, indeed, the Hero of Ferelden “Since you came highly recommended and the fact that you are who you are...“

The braids are thrown over her her shoulders as she finally stands fully straight in front of the Warden Commander. Yes, if anyone within the Wardens didn’t need saving it was likely the same man that had killed the Archdemon. The village of Crestwood was in sore need of help; help that she was sure they would get around to providing (or she sorely hoped that she could help in any way) but this meeting was at the top of her list of priorities.

A list that was already growing to the point where she could not see the bottom of.

Her next stop was to talk with the Mayor (she had been told would be the title for the leader in the human settlement). She could feel that this was not just the work of bad weather, that the permanent rain had simply sunk the buildings. The place felt wrong (well, beyond the talk of demons and undead which were... obviously not right). But for now her attention returned to the present. To Declan Amell.

   “The hero of Orlais and the hero of Ferelden in the same room.” the elven woman turns to Cassandra who stood only a few steps behind her and then back at the warden. A large smile over sun burnt lips “I’m sure that is on someone’s bingo card somewhere.” she snorts lifting her hand towards him “I’m Asharen Lavellan, it is an honour to meet you. It really means a lot to have you here.“

Oc fact exchange: So i imagine that like rich chocolate is hard to come by for the dalish. So in skyhold my lavellan finds where Josephine hides her antivan chocolates and proceeds to eat all of them. Later Dorian finds him curled into a ball groaning with the worst stomach ache ever, boxes and wrappers littering the ground. Feyren really doesn't touch chocolate after that

oh gosh I really can’t blame Feyren, chocolate is so good lol. I have a similar story! Neth Tabris grew up in the Denerim alienage and food was pretty hard to come by. After joining the Wardens though she eventually got the opportunity to try some cake and omg it’s the best thing she has ever eaten! She definitely puts a little money aside for some every now and then (or if the shop seller is a jerk she may just steal it, oops)
