Just got my @marilynmanson #disposableteens #actionfigure by #fewturemodels and the figure, just like the mechanical animals one is really high quality... look out for a review soon. It's just such a shame that the way they are displayed in their boxes doesn't lend itself all that well to photographing... I'll figure it out one day. Also sadly the box came in far worse a state than the eBay seller made out, but I paid a pretty good price so I'm not going to complain too much. #figure #fewture #marilynmanson #music #toy #collectible https://www.instagram.com/p/B4ipykxgums/?igshid=1o7mh157ieq6c

Another throwback lamp for you all. This is a Fewture Models Skull-bite resin kit turned into a lamp. It features a removable plate that houses a puzzle box. Mazinger 1969 is the first Fewture - Art Storm model added to my collection. I’ve always liked the style Professor Robo Taku Sato (RIP!) used to shape his neo-goth versions of Go Nagai’s classic creations, so when I came across a sealed copy for a bargain price in Singapore, I couldn’t miss it.
When it comes to Fewture models, you all know everything says “classy, quality and expensive”, and this model is no exception to this rule. Starting from the classic brown carton box, from the inner slip-on case, to the styrofoam blister, everything is made with craft quality.
The robot itself is really impressive in terms of weight, since pretty much every part is metal made. This however does not affect his posability so you can have great fun (if you dare...) playing with it. The only downside I could mention, is the poorly set of accessories included in the package. In fact, aside from a spare set of axed arms, the Hover Pilder and a plastic stand, you get nothing more. Given the retail price, I think they could at least have included the Mazinger Blade (not to mention the Scrander...).
Overall I’m really happy with this model, so much that I recently bought another Fewture model, but I will show you that later!

Fewture Getter Robot 1 Option Parts Set
Ever since I bought my first Fewture model, the Mazinger Z 1969, I immediately fell in love with the incredible design of these supermassive metal robots. But it’s when I bought the Getter 1 Ryoma Mode that I realized how much I loved the Black series. And also it was about the same time I discovered the existence of some option parts kit for these models. As usual, info for Fewture models are lacking on the web (at least in English...), so it took me quite some time to find out about these kits. Nevertheless, after a few months scouting eBay and other marketplaces, I managed to get my hands on a mint copy of this rare black version option parts set, and it was quite a bargain tbh! Not much to say about the kit, even though it’s all plastic, the quality is absolutely stunning and on the same line of the robots. I love all the details on these parts and, even today after many months, I actually still have my Getter 1 displayed with this kit on.

Fewture Black Getter Ryoma Mode - Part 1
Second Fewture model entered my collection a while ago. This time it’s a classic Getter 1, headliner of the first ExGokin series back in day. I choose the Ryoma Repaint version both because of the affordable price (these are still expansive as hell) and the supercool looks of this black version. In this super heavy big box you find all the accessories and parts needed to expose the robot both in the classic Getter 1 mode and in the Ryoma mode, the latter being obviously much cooler with his claws and torn scarf and cape. Similar to Mazinger Z, the model is pretty much made of diecast, so it’s super heavy while maintaining a great posability. Again, I’m really impressed with the quality of these Fewture ExGokin series model and of course I love the crafty steampunk-esque design, so I’ll definitely try to get my hands over more of them!
