Day two of my road trip, Virginia to Mississippi, log of political signage:
A Trump-Pence menagerie on the side of a barn
A Trump-Vance sign on a barn
Four pro-Trump signages
Three more pro-Trump signages in a town we stopped in
One pro-Harris signage in the same town we stopped in
Trump superstore???
A homemade pro-Trump van getup
Trump flags on a motorcycle
The same inconclusive pro-Christian sign with some sort of political messaging
We also saw one Golgotha last night, and three more today. Allegedly this is in memorial to some preacher, but they're all just Golgothas to me.
Tomorrow: Birmingham to Houston. We're going to finally be settling down, especially since tomorrow's the shortest day, and we'll be staying at my dad's house which'll be nice. I expect not to see that much signage on the highway, but once we get into my dad's suburb we'll probably see them in yards. Presumably Trump-majority as has been standard.
Day one of my road trip down to Houston, Massachusetts to Virginia, log of political signage:
Two pro-Trump signage
One pro-Harris-signage
One anti-Biden signage
One pro-Christian signage, inconclusive
I think we would have gotten more pro-Harris stuff if we hadn't immediately gone onto the highway, since there's a lot of that locally. We also saw an anti-Harris attack ad once we got to our hotel, but I'm unsure if that should count towards my total.
Tomorrow: Harrisburg to Birmingham. If we see more signage I expect it to be significantly more Trump-centric, though since we're heading through some battleground states we may see Harris stuff too. Unsure why we seemingly passed a replica of Golgotha on the drive, but that's not political so I don't care.
