Oh, a few things I didn’t manage to put in the analysis from the other day!

I also wanted to bring up the chapter 284 where AM remarks how Izuku is unaware of Katsuki’s attempts to atone (which is not a bad thing, the point is not seeking forgiveness but actually making it up to the person) but this could mean Izuku is not looking at Katsuki anymore.

Meaning he is unable to read him as easily as before (reason why he was so shocked at his sacrifice) for him everything is coming out little bit nowhere. He does see his progress as a person and hero, but not as someone who is finally reaching out to him.

(Note how in the cover Izuku isn't looking at the current Katsuki, but the past one)

To me it looks like the narrative pointing out how Izuku is the one who misinterpreted Katsuki this time.

Leading to another parallel to their last fight when Katsuki said:

I'm not saying this means their conversation is going to go terribly wrong. But there are things we should consider.

I love this! You are absolutely right that Deku isn’t paying attention to his and Bakugo’s relationship, like he just can’t see the trees through the forest

I could be wrong

But I personally can’t think of a time outside of Deku telling Katsuki he got his quirk from someone else where Deku makes an effort to approach Katsuki at all

Like we get one flashback of them as little kids with Deku chasing after Katsuki and then Katsuki pushing him down, but the rest?

They’ve all been Deku just kinda being there and hanging on the outskirts, and then Katsuki turning to him and dragging him into the events under the guise of making fun of him

Or it’s just the two of them and it’s still Katsuki doing most of the talking

And that keeps up until sometime around the joint training arch where Deku finally give Katsuki an out loud to his face compliment for the first time in probably years

The fact that Bakugo didn’t like immediately die on the spot is honestly impressive

Every other interaction they have is completely lead by Katsuki

can we talk about gigantomachia for a moment, like

hello??? what is going on?

I understand that gigantomachia's purpose is to serve AfO and be useful to shigaraki. So AfO and shigaraki would be his masters, right? But we have to consider that now his services are fully reserved to shiggy and we know that from awhile back when he was fighting gigantomachia to prove he is worthy. Besides, Shigaraki has AfO now so he is, like, "representing" both. That would count as one master I suppose (?)

So who could be this second master? After we see gigantomachia thinking this, there are a few panels of the city's situation and finally we get to this

(istg I completely lost my sh!t because idk what's the outcome of this. OfA can't be taken without consent but AfO is to steal any quirk, SO which one's gonna be?. However, it should work in favor of AfO just because it was the power that gave the quirk to the 'little brother'. anyways, to the point)

This panel seems to happen at the same time as gigantomachia's, so the quirk acting on deku would show the presence of both shigaraki and AfO? Or OfA, as a complementary quirk that came for AfO, could count as a second master?

what I'm saying is what if deku is the second master?

I mean, we have OfA acting in the moment shigaraki/AfO touches him.

Most importantly, we have deku's feral state as an explanation. When AfO says that bakugou's 'spilled blood' has been the most useless, deku snapped. He remembered all those who got hurt by shigaraki and even remember someone's words (i'm guessing it was all might's?) that if he acts out of rage, his power will respond accordingly to it. soo yeah, knowing everything that has happened deku turned hella powerful in a few panels. This is where I think he could be the other master, because he is showing it by using OfA completely. (this happens right before gigantomachia's panel)

My second reason is based more in the theory that claims that AfO is hisashi midoriya (deku's dad). It could be explain by the "your power will respond accordingly of your emotions" too, deku could be using eveything at his reach to defeat shigaraki at that moment, so maybe he activated a dormant quirk or some aura that made gigantomachia notice him.

but guys, hear me out. A few months earlier I read someone's tweet saying that what if gigantomachia arrived where the fight was taking place and all this time deku turna out to be the master he was looking to protect? I know, it doesn't sound too convincing but just imagine! That would be so cool.

It could have a big reaction on deku, I mean his father would be a villain and by effect he would be tied to the whole "villainy runs on the blood" or something like that. I mean, it could be related to the "deku unlocked the quirks of the previous OfA users" like, you know, using multiple quirks. having multiple quirks. By being related to a villain it would make deku think about the villain's reason to be "bad" or even realize how rotten the hero system is, because he still sees being a hero as the best thing ever. I don't really blame him, after all it's his dream since the begging. Now he is a 'hero' (he's still a kid jc) and has to get out of the bubble he's still living in tho

Being honest, even if I like AfO being dekus dad theory, I don't really like too much the idea of deku having a secret quirk as I mentioned before. I think is more inspirational if he stays as a quirkless person, but with or without quirk he still worked his ass off to be where he actually is.

- I would have liked these episodes more if it was a TV movie or a special episode, for the sake that the show’s “feel” would be more consistent. (I’ll talk about this in another post.)

That living enbodiment of a phone charger was the one who dared the entirety of the bakusquad to go to this “haunted” house

Bakugou, of course, said he had better things to do but,,,

Kirishima (being the manliest man he is) just had to be there to protect his s/o from all the bad spirits and creatures of the night

But the thing is- Kirishima is fucking terrified.

You, on the other hand, are so excited maybe a bit nervous and he wants to be one to protect you and be your man

Kaminari, Mina and Sero get too far ahead of themselves and rush off into different parts of the attraction so it's just you and the sharp-toothed cutie,,,all alone,,,in a dark, supposedly haunted house. Oof.

At first,It isn’t as bad as Kirishima thought. Plus, he gets to spend time with you and whenever you’d hear a scream you would unconsciously brush your hand against his and suddenly he doesn’t even realize that he was anxious in the first place. That is until you get to this bloody door that explicitly says ‘Do Not Enter’.

“Oh well, I guess we’ll just have to move on then, s/o”

Being the dumbass you are,,,You grabbed Kirishima’s hand and busted through the door (all that you could think of was ‘I need to see some ghost cheeks 👻’)

The room was dark and had a overwhelming stench to it. So, you ran your hand over the wall to find a light switch

all the while, kiri is begging that you two meet up with everyone else but 👏them👏ghost👏 cheeks👏

when you did find the strangely wet lightswitch, you turned it on to discover the fresh blood dripping down your hands and wondering why kirishima was so silent, you turned around.

He was in some state of shock, his once bright and tanned skin is now a sickly pale. He moves in front of you when you tried to follow his eyesight, desperately trying to protect you from the horrendous sight but you managed to take a look from over his shoulder

The entire room had dark crimson sludge splattered on the walls and the ground they currently stood on.

But that wasn’t even the worst of it.

It was the various amounts of flesh and guts scattered over a steel, rusted autopsy table where a body laid still as a rock. The body was mutilated and had several markings on it

The two of you weren't sure if it was real or just very detailed decorations but you both shared a look that told each other that they needed to leave and get help.

You moved quickly through the house to find your friends, still joining hands with Kirishima.

When you found Kaminari, Mina and Sero roasting a Pennywise cosplayer, you and Eijirou let out a breath of relief and pleaded them to come with you so you could show them the fucking mess y'all witnessed but when you got to the cursed hallway that you swore had a row of doors along it-

The door was fucking gone?!?

Everyone except you and Eijirou, who were both shocked and sick to their stomachs, was laughing and playing it off as a joke but

Whatever the fuck you both experienced together sure as hell bonded you for life.
