I'm going to clear the air a little about the supposed "work" that K does.

Alright, the thing about her going to LV because they pay her because she's famous… Lies. I work in branding and image, and I don't just work with luxury brands, I consume them a lot as well. So I know a few things that the casual customer doesn't.

LV invited her, yes, but not because she's Kelly Piquet (they care very little about that), but because she spends a lot of money on the brand. Everything she has from LV, she buys herself (I don't know with what money, but the bill is hers). If you spend a certain amount each year (it depends on the brand), the brands invite you to events and cover the expenses.

It could be a dinner at a luxury restaurant in Barcelona like Valentino did, or a paid trip to the Maldives. But you have to spend a minimum of 20,000 euros (other brands have different levels). By the way, the clothes they wear are given to them by the brands for the event, and they have to return them. Because you shouldn't wear anything that isn't from the brand.

If you don't believe me, I want you to go to her Instagram and count how many LV products you see. I took the time to do it, and starting with Max's backpack at 2,350€, K's bags, which range from 6,100€ (I think there are two, so that's almost 19,000€ already with just 3 things), and also beach towels that cost around 400€. The Diagram bucket hat, if I remember correctly, was about 650€.

You can do the math yourselves.

And can anyone be invited to LV shows? Well, yes, you just need to be a recognized client who spends a lot. My grandmother, mother, and I have been invited by brands like Fendi, Chanel, Celine, Valentino to dinners, trips, shows. And I work in the industry, so I know how it works.

In the world of luxury, LV isn't a bad brand, it has a legacy. But it’s considered one of the more commercial or "accessible" brands when compared to others. That's why it's not so impressive.

When you see her at a show, just remember that she paid to be there. Which isn't a bad thing. As I've said, I've been to those events. But it's not a job. Sure, she uses it to create content for herself, and in return, the brand gets exposure (she also has to buy items from the collection, don't think you can just go there to take photos). But brands only invite you if you’re a top celebrity or a very good customer. And it takes time and money to reach that level. LV is relatively easy. Hermès, Chanel, Celine are a bit more exclusive.

Notice that she didn't go to anything else in Paris. She could have gone to Celine, which was also last week.

Well, to the critical eye: she’s not really impressive. What's her brand? She doesn't have one. Does she set trends? No. She usually just follows everything. That doesn’t stand out. She doesn’t have a style. And the thing with Alo Yoga is really lowering the bar. You can't mix that with a post from a fashion show in Paris. Alo Yoga hires anyone with followers, and you have to post a lot in exchange for the clothes.

If she had a defined brand. Something lifestyle, I don't know. Posting selfies in the mirror after the gym isn’t exactly being a fit influencer. Do you understand what I mean?

Her branding (or lack thereof) is very strange, and the way she uses brands to climb seems strange and low to me. She needs better advice.
