She belonged to a group called "The Five", comprising a circle of women inspired by Theosophy, who shared a belief in the importance of trying to contact the so-called "High Masters"—often by way of séances.

Here's the first result of my volcano pour. Swipe for the process photos. I did a few layers with the tool and moved the paint around with a palette knife, inspired by the lovely @sarataylor.modernart and her beautiful compositions. My current large WIP. My art tables were covered with too much junk and wet acrylic pours so I set up my floor with my canvas and acrylics. It was really nice to have all the space the floor provided but gosh my knees aren't made for extended stays on the floor to smear color across the canvas. Another WIP. This is part of my collection I'm working on called "Color of Me." There was a meme on Twitter that had you ask your friends what color impressions you gave off. Several friends had beautiful descriptions of me and color and I knew I needed integrate those heartfelt words into my art. ALSO this happens to be my best-selling design on Redbubble which is interesting to me because this is just an underpainting. I had the base of this started before my friend even mentioned these colors in relation to the meme because I was thinking about cloring my hair pink and blue (my hair is too short for two ombre-style colors). But yeahhh I love these colors. Crinkly acrylic pour! This texture is AMAZING for an acrylic pour. I wasn't really expecting this result except I should have. I think I had one or two paintings underneath this before I did an acrylic pour and I just ended up pouring so much paint and blowing it around with my air compressor that the paint just layered so much and gave me this amazing tissue paper like crinkle. This painting is also HEAVY. Like physically when I pick it up you can definitely feel the weight of the paint. I had leftover paint for a dirty pour that turned out rather murky and muted so I used some paint markers to doodle on what I could see and it evolved into this pattern. Doodling is so soothing! I always forget this fact and when I sit down and just let my mind wander with markers or crayons...well, the experience is just so pleasing!
