An Unexpected Love Chapter 5

Started 7/17/17 Finished 7/31/17 (Sorry for such a long wait for chapter 5!!!) ~~~~ Rating: T~ mature Fandom: Touken Ranbu Relationships: Izuminokami Kanesada x Fem! Horikawa Kunihiro, Yamatonokami Yasusada x Fem! Hachisuka Kotetsu ~~~~ Summary: Four Kingdoms, three princes and one princess. The fate of the kingdoms relied upon the marriage of the princess marrying the chosen prince of her father's choice, but will she fall in love with his choice or will she end up hating him instead? ~~~~ As we walked up the staircase to the main floor I noticed Kashuu was fiddling with the necklace around his neck with a face full of worry. It made me wonder what he was thinking in his mind as we walked. “Hey, are you OK? You seem worried about something.” I asked him as he kept staring at the necklace just giving me a head shake as an answer. “Princess, its best not to ask him about it. He's, how should I put it, hard to handle, when it comes to his past.” Yamato stated as he put an arm around Kashuu’s shoulders and looked me straight in my eyes with the deadliest look I had ever seen. “I was only trying to help however. I know how he gets as well since I've known him practically my whole life. I've helped him more than you ever have despite you being the adoptive brother. That's why he lives in the cottage just outside of the castle's walls. He always told me his problems and I helped him solve them. So giving me a deadly stare like that isn't going to scare me. You can try your hardest to protect whatever power it is that he has but it's certainly not going to work too well. I'll do everything I can to get it out of him so he doesn't sulk and become a hermit over the issue.” I strongly replied as everyone continued to walk in front of us and just me, Yamato, and Kashuu stood there, alone, in the cool yellow lighted stairway. “Look…...its nothing to be worried about this time Hori. I know you mean well but it's nothing really. The design on this necklace is just too pretty that I can't help but stare at it with worry since I fear it will rust out one day.” Kashuu finally looked up at me with a dead look in his eyes and no smile or emotion for that matter. That made me remember what the potential threat could be. “Vampires……….the power is vampires? Isn't it? The Kiyomitsu name has been in countless vampire story after story so it only makes sense that the Kotetsu’s would be scared of them and get on their bad side easily. Vampires, according to legend can get very bored of their so called friends after a while and kill them once they aren't needed for their specific purpose anymore. That might be how their grandma died…...not by the impact of being bitten but being bitten when she was young. She might've fell in love with a Kiyomitsu in her teen years and that said partner could've bit her for her blood one day and caused her death many many years later. However that's just a hunch. I could be talking about a completely different family for all I know.” I stated as Kashuu and Yamato both looked at me with two different expressions, one of fear and one a death glare. “Have you ever noticed that Kashuu’s eyes glow when he's around you when it's dark or the weird sparkles he gets in his eyes every so often?” Yamato asked me as his face looked a little less scared than the previous moment. “Y-yeah?? Why??” I questioned now thinking back on what I had said. “What if I told yo……..” That's when all the torches that were lit in the hallway went out randomly and all that was seen was a pair of ruby red eyes glowing where Kashuu stood. That's when I scrambled to my clutch and find my miniature flashlight inside. That's when I realized that that might have been a bad idea and decided to look up at Kashuu instead. “RUN!!!!!!!!!” Yamato screamed as I could barely make out Kashuu turning around and grabbing him by his shoulders. I then bolted up the stairs not thinking what might be happening to Yamato and quickly met up with the others. -------- “So you're saying the power is that the bloodline is made up solely of vampires? But Kashuu’s mother is a human. I know that for a fact.” Hachisuka stated as she handed me a glass of cold water after I had ran up the stairs in fear of whatever Kashuu might have done to me if I stayed any longer. “I always knew something was up with them when they were allowed out of their cells……” The blonde haired boy stated as I remembered he never introduced himself or was called by his name yet. “That's because they are kept in a dark and damp place for most of their days and nights. I don't think I'd feel to well if I was them either Urashima.” Nagasone said to the blonde boy as the question of asking him his name was erased from my mind. “Kane, did you know about this or are you clueless?” I looked over to him as he gave me an uninterested look. “Yeah. It's not like Kashuu has red eyes for a reason. He's a half as far as I know. His dad was supposedly a vampire where as his mom wasn't. He's not only just a screw up to the normal royal bloodline, he's a screwup to the whole Kiyomitsu family blood line. The first half human I believe. I've heard half human vampires are even worse than the real deal. I had a huge vampire phase when I was a kid. It's all my mom read to me as a kid and I'm thanking her for keeping me awake at night for countless nights at a time now.” Kane replied to me as I walked over to him as close as I could so that our noses were almost touching. “Are YOU part of that bloodline??” I asked him as I put emphasis on the you. “Through marriage. Other than that no. I mean I am related by blood, but only from Kashuu’s mother, who isn't a vampire.” He replied to me as he backed me up slightly and flicked me in my forehead after he had finished explaining shortly how he was related to Kashuu. Shortly after that the whole room then fell quiet and all eyes were either on the floor or looking at the various paintings on the walls. That is until a soft feminine voice spoke up that startled us all. “By the ways…….where is my husband??” We then heard Hachisuka question as loud and fast footsteps could be heard coming from the staircase below. No sooner the steps were heard a figure appeared and fell to its knees. It just so happened to be Yamato. “So…..I kinda made Kashuu mad by triggering the princess……” Yamato slightly looked up as a scratch mark was visible on his left cheek. -------- “So…...if your dad has brown eyes and your mom has red eyes, wouldn't she be the vampire and your dad not?” I asked Kashuu as he sat down on a couch in the tea room Hachisuka and her brothers has directed us to. “No, my mom's human. She just has red eyes I guess. My dad was different all throughout his childhood. Being the only vampire in the village with normal colored eyes made it hard for him as a young prince to grow up. He wasn't born with his powers similarly to myself. He had to find them and he didn't find them before his time. His eyes would've been red or another color assimilated with vampires but he didn't experience a life changing event until two years after his deadline. I just happened to experience my life changing event when I was a year old so I ended up growing up with red eyes. As for my mom, I have no clue why she has red eyes. Maybe my dad changed her. It's possible for a human of pure blood to change to a vampire. If that was the case then it is a huge taboo that could end up in execution of both the vampire and the human involved in the accident.” Kashuu messily explained as he looked at me with a determined look rather than the emotionless look he had shown earlier. “Why is it taboo though. Is it really that bad when a human is changed to a vampire?” I asked him as Yamato faceplamed and Hachisuka looked at him with a concerned look. “In normal cases it's not considered taboo, but since my dad comes from a royal family and my mom from a poor and human family it is basically a huge crime. I wouldn't think he just changed her because he couldn't live without her, something had to happen, other than that I think she'd still be human. Mom and dad come from two different backgrounds and lives. I just can't put it together with why he chose her and why he himself never got his red eyes even after his time. It's possible to get them after your time if the event is really that bad. Besides we are the only three left to the original royal southern family. The rest have either been killed or fled the country in fear of the Kotetsu’s. Maybe he changed her during the war, I'll never know I unless I ask. Mom didn't have red eyes last I knew when I was with her last. I remember that, no I remember her being human last I was in her care. Everyone might say I was just a baby but I can remember being in the castle when I was older…...but then again I could just be making things up and they could've all been dreams……..” Kashuu messily spoke once more as Yamato looked at him with a knowing look, the Kotetsu’s with a slightly freaked out look, and me and Kane with a confused but interested look. “So you do remember more than you say you do. You remember it all then I take it? How much do you truly know and what are your ties with the Northern country?” Yamato asked him as Kashuu looked at him and his red eyes showed yet another glisten that I had never seen before. “Not here and not now. Let's just find an inn where we can stay. We can't stay at the castle, well you could, but we can't. They might kill me if we do stay here tonight. I'll reveal more tomorrow if I'm willing to.” Kashuu stated as he gave a Yamato a glare that showed he wasn't very willing to talk about his past or really any of his life before he became my servant and bodyguard. ~~~~ Ah how was this?!? Once again I'm very sorry its so late and the writing is so spaced out. I've been very busy lately and haven't really had any time to write the story. Please send me a message letting me know how I did! Chapter 6 might be out in the next few days or the next few weeks, it all depends on how busy I am. An Unexpected Love Chapter 4

Started 7/12/17 Finished 7/13/17 -------- Rating: T~ mature Fandom: Touken Ranbu Relationships: Izuminokami Kanesada x Fem! Horikawa Kunihiro. -------- Summary: Four Kingdoms, three princes and one princess. The fate of the kingdoms relied upon the marriage of the princess marrying the chosen prince of her father's choice, but will she fall in love with his choice or will she end up hating him instead? -------- “Rare intelligence? That's a new one.” Yamato stated as he knelt down next to his nearly announced wife to try to comfort the young prince also. “Apparently according to what Lady Kiyomitsu has been talking about lately is some sort of intelligence that Kashuu possesses that can be a huge threat to our family. From being the royal families best friends, to becoming a family of thieves wasn't easy. Mother and father struggled to get a stabilized life once more and when they heard of the Lady’s first pregnancy my father became infuriated. At the time only our mother's sister was still friends with the royal family so my father ordered her to kill the baby inside of your mother. Rumor has it that she never did what our father asked, your mother ended up having the child, and is now living with our aunt who hasn't been found for the last 17 and a half years. I doubt that one is true however but our aunt went missing randomly one day when I was 4 so……” Nagasone spoke up as he walked closer to all of us. “It just so happens that father didn't know the queen was expecting once more and once he found out that a prince was born to the southern kingdom he declared war. That's how we ended up here 16 years later. It's sad to know grandma died on the same day the fight started but that's just the cover story to the whole thing. The true story behind the war was because of the prince. My father didn't want to see him become king and find out about how badly he and mother treated people in the towns they once owned and burned down.” The orange blonde boy spoke up as he also walked closer to us. “Needless to say father hates Kashuu and he knows he's still alive. He knows that you have him Horikawa. Despite him dying his hair and occasionally wearing brown contacts he knew it was Kashuu the whole time. He integrates his parents about him constantly and has been plotting to kill him since he saw him on television a few months back with red eyes instead of the normal brown ones he wore.” Hachisuka added as she put a hand gently under Kashuu’s chin and lifted his head so his red eyes met her light teal ones. Before kashuu could say anything the first thing he did was slap the innocent woman in her face despite her not doing anything to him at all. “LIARS!!!! LIARS!!!! IT'S NOT TRUE!!!!! YOUR FATHER WOULD'VE KILLED ME BY KNOW IF HE KNEW I WAS STILL ALIVE!!!! HE WOULD'VE KILLED MY PARENTS ALSO IF HE REALLY WANTED TO…….” Kashuu was cut off my Yamato pressuring a pressure point of Kashuu’s shoulder and it quickly knocked the young boy out. “Now we came for his parents. I demand we see his parents IMMEDIATELY or I'll report your parents to all the kingdoms and tell what all they have done to the Southern Royal family.” Kane sternly implied as he picked Kashuu up bridal style, Yamato locked his right hand with Hachisuka’s left one and both of her brothers shuddered in fear. “A-ah right this way then.” Nagasone shuddered as he actually seemed scared of the eastern prince. --------- “Ah It's so nice to see you once more Hachisuka-chan. You are glowing like normal I see.” I heard a young woman speak as Hachisuka grabbed keys off of a hook on the wall behind her and proceeded to unlock what looked like a prison cell. “Well I wouldn't say I'm glowing to much, but you certainly seem very happy today. What's the motive for you today Lady?” Hachisuka opened the cell as a woman came out and gave her a gentle hug but soon broke it to look her straight in her light teal eyes. “HE’S here with you today. I feel his presence. My SON is here.” The woman smiled the biggest smile I had ever seen and then proceeded to look our way. Kane looked as me as I looked back at him and then we looked at the unconscious prince. Yamato lightly chuckled as he looked at our slightly confused faces. “Um…...should we try to wake him up?” Kane asked as I shook my head no in response. “Its best to let the woman see his beautiful sleeping face first rather than one full of emotions that only I can read.” Yamato stated as I noticed the woman was walking over to us and Kane started to shudder. The woman looked exactly like the woman in the book that kashuu had been looking at a few nights ago, red eyes, brown hair, and a thin figure. However gray hairs were slightly visible and she was now dressed in rags rather than the beautiful dress I had first seen her in. “I-is t-this??” She asked as tears started to form in her eyes and Kashuu stirred in Kane’s arms. “Um, hi….I'm Princess Horikawa Kunihiro of the Northern Kingdom and this is my fiancé Izuminokami Kanesada of the Eastern Kingdom. We had heard of your apparent son’s story a few nights ago and his adoptive brother decided to bring us here, to meet you and your husband.” I introduced myself as the woman shortly looked at me and then back at the unconscious Kashuu. “Ah yes I have heard of you and Izuminokami-kun from Hachisuka-chan. She is a very promising young woman and I am deeply grateful for her saving me and my husband from death. If she didn't save me I would've never had gotten to meet Kashuu. Such beauty he holds. He looks exactly what I imagined….but with red tinted hair?” The woman then questioned as she looked up at Kane and gave him a confused look. “Who let him dye his hair and why did he dye it?” She sounded confused yet slightly angry at what Kashuu’s appearance looked like but she was in for even more of a surprise once he woke up. “That would be my mother despite her trying to get him to not dye his hair. He dyed it around the time he had started to read books about you Lady Kiyomitsu, and your husband also. He did it so he wouldn't get killed, however I believe he knew you both were alive the whole time and just played with us big time when he revealed that he's known everything for a few years now.” Yamato stated as she then looked at him. All while this was happening I noticed Hachisuka had walked out of the cell with one more person, this time a man around the same age as Kashuu’s mother. He had brown hair and brown eyes with a hint of grey in his hair also and wrinkles starting to form on his forehead. That's when Kashuu really stirred and woke up this time. “W-whats going on?!?? Last I remember I was screaming at the Kotetsu’s and now I'm…...in Kane’s arms??” Kashuu sounded confused and scared when he looked up at Kane who immediately dropped him as soon as he  acknowledged that Kane was holding his no longer unconscious body. As soon as Kashuu hit the ground he sprung right back to his feet and then proceeded to dart for Kane who had successfully got behind me in a matter of seconds. “What the hell!! You have a girlfriend!! You shouldn't have been holding another man!! For all I knew you could've done something terrible to me!!! I might as well kill you here and take Horikawa as my bride!! That would make my parents more than happy to see me engaged rather than you when I meet them!” Kashuu screamed at him as a hand was gently rested on his shoulder. That's when his eyes went slightly wide and he looked scared for some odd reason. Slowly he turned around and was met with another pair of ruby red eyes. As me, Kane, and Yamato moved forward, Kashuu moved back and bumped Into Yamato. He seemed confused and flustered all at the same time. “N-no way……...n-no way…….n-no way…..” He repeated as he kept his eyes glued on the woman in front of him. “She’s not…...he’s not……….mom?? Dad??” Kashuu then blurted out confused as he continued to keep his eyes glued on the now two figures in front of him. “It's really him…..but with purple eyes?? That's not right.” The woman then spoke once more as I watched Yamato give kashuu a contact lenses case, makeup removing wipes, and a mirror. “Here…..you might need these. Your mother is already mad about your dying if your hair. We don't want to make her even angrier if she continues to see you in heavy makeup and contacts.” Yamato explained as Kashuu hooded in agreement. “There's a washroom just down the hall if you need it. I will help the queen find some better fitting attire. As for the king, Yamato please help him find some better clothing.” Hachisuka directed as Kashuu started to make his way to the washroom, Yamato had started to direct the King to a room down the hall, Hachisuka also directed the Queen to a separate room, and she informed us that there is a better room down the hall we could wait in while everyone got changed. -------- “So…….I was right then?” Kashuu quietly spoke up as he looked at the King and Queen now dressed in different and more fitting attire for their titles. “Apparently. How does it feel?” The queen spoke up as he looked at her in her elongated red eyes similar to his own. “Overwhelming? No good. It feels good. All warm and fuzzy for some odd reason. I've never felt this before. Not even with Yasusada’s parents.” Kashuu stated as he addressed Yamato by his last name and he held his heart. “How does it feel for you, mom?” He added as she looked at him with wide eyes and began to cry. “Sad. It feels so sad to know we couldn't be there for you! It's sad to know you grew up in a poor environment and that we couldn't see your first steps, heat your first words, or even be there when you discovered your true life and identity. I had been preparing for this day for many years, but never so soon.” She cried out as her husband rubbed her back to try to comfort her. That's when Kashuu got up from his seat next to me and walked over to her and sat next to her. “Please don't cry. It will bring wrinkles to your beautiful and flawless face.” Kashuu stated as I remember him once telling me that when I had gotten sad over my favorite night outing shirt being ripped. The queen then looked to her still young son with tears running down her cheeks and slowly, but gently pulled him into an embrace. “Never has I thought I'd ever be able to see you so young and so innocent before. It makes my heart feel so many emotions that I was never prepared for.” She cried into Kashuu’s shoulder as I heard a soft chuckle escape Yamato’s mouth. As soon as Hachisuka has heard him laughing she hit him gently but just enough to get his attention. “What?? His mom said he's innocent…..he's anything but innocent.” Yamato replied to her hit as she gave him a disapproving look “Sure he might not be but now isn't a time to laugh. It's a time for celebration since the Southern royal family is now finally reunited. “Ahem, excuse me for interrupting, but what are we going to do about his parents? We certainly can't take them back with us? Can we?” Kane spoke up as Kashuu, his mother, and his father all looked at him with the same astonished look. “I'm sure Horikawa’s father can do something about this but i'm not certain what…” “N-no!! We can't leave! If we leave they will hunt down Kashuu at all costs! They will think we went looking for him if they knew we were gone! Focus in your marriage and leave us!  Make sure Kashuu marries a beautiful maiden of his choice and make sure he lives a happy life with his family. We can never leave since we have to protect him at all costs……” His mother began to cry again as Kashuu pulled her close once more and embraced her tighter than the past time. “We love your offer of course, but we can not accept for Kashuu’s sake. He's the last of the royal family that everyone knows about. All of the kingdom knows he's still alive from watching the royal broadcasts and listen to the radio day in and day out. If the current king were to find him we would kill him on impact.” His father added to his mother's response as he started to rub her back once more to try to calm her down. “B-but seeing you all here and the way you were before hand was tourcher!! If Kashuu would've seen how you both walked out of the cell he would've been devastated! I will try to have my father help as much as I can even if that means I can't leave the castle ever again.” I spoke firmly as the woman stopped crying, looked at me, and knew I was serious by the look on my face and the tone of voice that I presented. “First see what your father has to say, then come back for us after you return home and get your answer if he is willing to help. And kashuu, please take this. We wanted you to have it as a child but we never got to see you while you were growing up. It was a miracle that you received your father's trench coat like we requested that you have. It feels so good to see you wearing it and to see that you're truly attached to it.” His mother then stated as she pulled a necklace out of her pocket in her dress and put it around Kashuu’s neck. It had the original Southern kingdom’s crest on it had not the new one that could be seen everywhere. “Now please go before you get caught. Its getting late and we don't want you to be discovered.” His father added as he picked up the necklace that was now gently laying over his red scarf and his it under the scarf in a matter of seconds. “I'll come back when the time is right. I promise. Please stay alive and healthy while I think of a way to help you both.” Kashuu stated as tears formed in his eyes buy what none of us knew was the he already had a plan in mind to save his parents and it wasn't a good one either….. -------- So? How was chapter 4? I know it might seem rushed and I'm sorry…...I had the idea and typed it as fast as I could before I lost it. I hope everyone understands! Next chapter should be out by the end of the week! Hope you all enjoyed!

An Unexpected Love Chapter 3

“My what?!?!?!” Kane lashed out again as Kashuu sat back even further in the chair he had chosen to sit in.

“You’re only left alive cousin. My mother, aka your aunt, came from the eastern kingdom for work and ended up marrying my dad not even realizing he was king. He used to sneak out of the castle just like Horikawa does when he was younger also. He met my mom one day while she was looking for a job and they fell in love with each other at first glance. My dad invited her to his “house” one day only for her to find out he was the prince of the Southern kingdom and a few months later they were married. My father’s family denied their marriage at first but with how poor my grandfather’s health was he accepted the fact that my father would never marry the eastern princess. Shortly after they married, the Kotetsu family had heard of what was going on since they already had a huge issue with my mom’s family in the first place and when they heard she was married to the southern prince they planned to plot a huge massacre to not only the royal family but everyone in the kingdom. It just so happened that after my parents got married my dad’s father died and my father quickly had to take the throne. They tried to have a kid as quickly as they could after he became king, but the princess, aka my older sister, was born stillborn. I can remember being told my mother was devastated over the fact that she didn’t bless my father with a child sooner, but he didn’t care since his love for her was even greater than my grandfather to my grandmother. A few months after that incident my mom ended up expecting another child and guess who that child was. Me! I ended up being born as a half royal half commoner child but it didn’t matter since my parents swore to protect me no matter the bloodline or the cost. Around this time my mom’s brother had met a beautiful maiden that he had never seen in the southern kingdom before. This maiden was your mother Izuminokami. My mom had heard of the wonderfulish news that your mother and father were getting married and she asked your mom to take care of me if anything happened. Your mother agreed but what she didn’t know is that she would never get to meet me, ever. But the growing hatred between the Kotetsu family and the Kiyomitsu family only grew after my father had heard of it. He tried all he could to keep them away from the southern kingdom as he found them a threat and would stop at nothing, even kill their own, but the breaking point happened when the grandmother of Hachisuka, Urashima, and Nagasone was killed. Their parents were infuriated and stopped at nothing for revenge. About a month after her funeral, the war began. The Kotetsu family was known for not taking it easy since they had burned town after town down before but never a kingdom, until October 18th. The day I turned a year old everything changed. My mother, as frantic as she’d ever been tried all she could to get me to your family but ended up handing me over to my dad’s sister who then handed me to Yamato’s elderly mother since she was to going at the time to take care of me without the help of a spouse and her parents. My mom died shortly after I was given to my aunt, or so I’ve been told. And to this day I’ve grown up with Yamato’s family playing dumb the whole time and believing everything my adopted parents told me, how I was their child blessed from God. I knew it wasn’t true my whole life however. The attempts Yamato’s mom made to make his father somewhat resemble me were useless and I saw right through it but played along. I am thankful that they were able to keep me safe my whole life however. Having an older brother helped me learn a thing or two about life as a commoner and how my mom grew up in the Eastern Kingdom.” Kashuu told his story as we all sat and listened, the whole time no one interrupting the lost prince.

“Wait……..so you seriously figured this all out on your own between your aunt and books???” Yamato questioned Kashuu as he looked over to his adopted brother.

“Mostly. Your mom helped also. She told me not to say anything however until the time was right and seeing that Horikawa and Izuminokami are getting married, I thought it was the right time to say something.” Kashuu stated as he looked at me and Kane-san with yet another glisten in his eyes that I had never seen before.

“A longing glisten? I’ve never seen him with a longing look before……” I stated quietly to myself as I looked to the ground with wonder filling my mind. “What could he be longing……”

“My mother and father. I long to meet them. I strongly believe they didn’t burn alive or get killed since there was no evidence of them being killed or burned at all. I think they are being held captive somewhere hidden in the Southern castle.” Kashuu stated as I looked up and saw the glisten in his eyes only glow more than it had previously glowed,

“Then why not go there? My dad is good friends with the Kotetsu family. We can go if you’re willing to join.” Kane spoke up as Kashuu and myself looked at him with two different looks. “I mean you’d have to disguise yourself pretty damn well but I’m sure we can do it somehow.”

“H-how though?? I mean I’ve dyed my hair multiple times to get a red tint to it and I put makeup on but how would I get in without them recognizing me?” Kashuu stated as Kane gave him a very sly look.

“Bye father!! We will see you in a few days time!!” I screamed out of the moving carriage as my father, mother, older brother, and younger brother waved back at me.

“You expect purple contacts and black makeup to work?? I look like a witch threw up on me!!” Kashuu screamed at Kane as soon as he knew we were far enough away from the castle. “The king thought i was crazy coming to work like this and threatened to fire me the next time I dress like this!!”

Kane couldn’t help but laugh at Kashuu as he threw a tantrum in the carriage as we made our way to the Southern kingdom for the first time for some of us.

“Now to my understanding, Yamato knows the southern kingdom well. How did you accomplish that?” I asked Yamato as he kept his eyes out on the scenery.

“My girlfriend lives here and also works as a servant like I do for Kane.” Yamato stated not taking his eyes off of what he was looking at in the scenery.

“Ah so that’s where you spend your weekends then. That explains a lot actually. Are you planning to propose to her soon? Is she a pretty woman?” Kane stated as Yamato outstretched his left hand to reveal some sort of ring on his hand.

“I’m already married to her. The only reason I say girlfriend is because no one knows about us, however she kinda has to tell her family soon since I kinda screwed her over a few weeks ago if you know what I mean…..” Yamato stated as he then looked down and a soft pink blush started to form on his cheeks.

“Y-YOU’RE MARRIED AND EXPECTING A CHILD?!??? WHY THE HELL DID YOU NEVER SAID ANYTHING YOU BASTARD!!!!!!! I’M GONNA BE AN UNCLE AND I NEVER KNEW ABOUT IT?!?!?” Kashuu screamed as the carriage slightly jumped off of the ground and startled us all.

“Technically you’re not blood related to me so he’s not your nephew, but since my parents legally adopted you I guess in a sense you will he an uncle.” Yamato them looked at him with a blank expression and then proceeded to punch him in his stomach after the outburst he made.

“Woah woah woah……you’re going to be a father and never have you once mentioned a girlfriend, yet alone wife. What’s wrong with you today Yasusada?” Kane asked as he huffed a little.

“Nothing’s wrong. I just felt it was time to say I’ve been married for a few months now. Kashuu states that he knew about his past and secrets so I felt like it was time to tell my secrets since I have noticed myself being distant lately also.” Yamato simply answered as I noticed we had just pulled up into another castles entrance.

“A-are we here??” I asked as the carriage stopped and the driver came and opened our doors.

“Yep. Were here. Thank you Teruma for the quick arrival again. I will phone you when we are thinking of returning back to the Northern Kingdom.” Yamato thanked the driver as he unpacked our bags and Yamato proceeded to knock on the door.

No sooner he knocked a hand came from behind the door and quickly pulled him in. That’s when we grabbed our bags and quickly ran up the stairs and into the castle.

When we ran in the first thing we say was Yamato hugging an unknown figure and what seemed to be a younger and older man standing behind them.

“Sister sister please don’t hug him here. Mother and father might see.” The younger boy stated in a slightly scared tone. He had blondish orange hair and teal eyes, a small yet built frame and a youthful look to his face. The one standing next to him, presumably his older brother, had dark brown hair with a layer of the same blond orange color underneath, light orange eyes, and a built up talker figure compared to the younger boy standing next to him.

Right after u had finished examining the boys I had noticed that Yamato had finished hugging whoever he was hugging and turned to face us.

“Guys, meet Hachisuka. My wife.” Yamato slightly blushed as Kashuu gave him an angered and he slammed his right leg on the ground.

“SHE’S A KOTETSU!!!!!! THE ONE THAT KILLED MY FAMILY!!!!!” Kashuu angrily screamed as he pushed Yamato to the ground and started to physically hurt him.

“P-please stop!! It was my father that you should be mad at. I wasn’t old enough to know what was going on. I tried to help Lord and Lady Kiyomitsu as much as I could. She’s still alive, as well as your father so please don’t hurt him! Your brother has done nothing wrong marrying a Kotetsu in secret!” The girl cried out as I ran over to the two boys and broke the fight up.

That’s when Kashuu looked up at her and gave her a different look than what he had given her a few second before.

“You helped them?? Then why the hell did your family kill the rest of my family!!!!” Kashuu screamed at her as she started to shiver in fear. That’s when her brothers walked over and eyed Kashuu down.

“He knows I take it? That’s why you brought him, his cousin, and his cousins betrothed this time I take it.” The older man stated as Yamato nodded.

“He revealed it all last night Nagasone-san. However to keep him safe from your parents we made him disguise his normal looks so your parents wouldn’t make him a slave also.” Yamato stated as Kashuu looked at him with teary eyes. The sound of slave must not have made him to happy.

“Ah. He must’ve been visiting his aunt more than we thought then. It’s good that he knows. Does he have a plan to get rid of our parents yet or not!?” The other boy spoke up as Kashuu looked at him with a confused, scared, and angered look.

“What do you mean “get rid of?” I just want my parents back!! I don’t mean any harm!! For all I knew they were dead!! I was joking when I said I thought they were alive!!!!” Kashuu cried out as tears fell from his eyes and he fell to the floor.

Me and Hachisuka quickly knelt down to confirm the scared and confused boy.

“Will he kill them like you thought Yasusada or no?” The blonde boy stated as I looked up at him.

“Kill? What do you mean by that?” I asked as he looked at me with a slightly scared look.

“His parents said when he comes for them he’ll kill our parents to seek revenge. Kashuu has a rare intelligence that only one out of one hundred princes get in a lifetime. He might he clueless right now about what my family really did, but he certainly will want to kill them after he sees what our parents have done to his family.” The blonde boy stated as Kashuu looked at him in fear.

“I don’t want to cause harm however! I just want my parents back!!”
