Artemis doesn't make it a habit to ogle. It's common and vulgar and she was raised better. But there are times when the curve of someone's waist or thigh will capture her attention long enough that she ends up staring, against her better judgement.

It's truly unfortunate that it happens now, with Dami's knee digging into the would-be mugger's back, pushing him deeper into the concrete. The victim has already run off, leaving just her and her girlfriend to deal with their attacker. 

Dami presses her knee harder into the man's back and he lets out a little whimper of pain. "Call the cops. I can't exactly deal with him now the way I'd like." 

Artemis doesn't hear her, and instead watches as Dami's skirt slips farther down, exposing most of her upper thigh. It's strong and smooth-looking, and Artemis can't help but admire the way her muscles shift there. 

Unfortunately for her, Dami notices her stare and smirks. "Artemis. Did you even hear me?" Artemis blinks and returns to the situation, making a rather unintelligent sound to her embarrassment. 

Dami laughs. "Tt. You useless lesbian."

but imagine the nicknames in fem'verse. like everyone just calls arty artemis, but then jason calls her Art and it sticks, until cass gets annoyed because she doesn't like the way its pronounced, so calls her Tammy and steph starts using it so its Tammy and Dami and just variations of that happen and dick is the most annoying because he likes to say "tam-a-lam"

NICKNAMES!!

artemis is probably a little annoyed at first (because excuse you only her mother is allowed to called her arty) but it kinda grows on her so she isn't really fazed by it. but then jason calls her 'art' (and i feel you cass, that name does not suit her at all), and eventually it evolves where she has probably 50 nicknames and she only responds to about 5 of them. but tammy and dami that's so cute omg.
