the chaos council does not care for their child citizens. child safety laws aren’t their biggest priority at all. it’s quite normal to find a kid wasted on the sidewalk or a child being handed hard drugs because their parents can’t afford painkillers. in fact, child trafficking isn’t a crime at all. where else would they find subjects for biomechanical experimentation? the amount of children’s blood on the council’s hands is very far from dismissible.

In the Name of Love (Colby Brock Imagine)
Hey guys! I’ve been listening to this song in repeat because of the second part of the second verse. It just speaks to me so I wrote it. I’m still working on request I just took a quick detour. Requests are open for Sam, Colby, and Jake and I’m still looking for Colby blurb ideas! Hope you enjoy and please listen to the song it’s so good.
Song: In the Name of Love by Martin Garrix and Bebe Rexha
——————————————————————————
He saw you everyday. You guys were really good friends. You were the sweetest, kindest, greatest person that he had ever met. At least, that’s what he thought anyway. Colby loved you as a friend, but he knew that he loved you as more. But of course, he would never tell you.
Of course, he wanted to. He wanted to tell you, but he knew that he would only hurt you. Colby had made up in his mind that the fire was gonna burn and it would be his fault. But he wondered if you would still choose him. He knew that he would choose you.
He trusted you. He trusted you so much that he could be blindfolded in the middle of the woods, yet he would let you lead him. In the dead silence, with no one else around, he would call for you. He knew that it would always be you.
But all Colby had to offer you was the limelight. Yet he knew that you wouldn’t care about that. Whenever the guys invited you on a trip, you were always the one filming. You just never cared to have the screen focused on you. It just wasn’t something you cared about that much. You guys could be able to bathe in the glory of it all, but he knew that that wouldn’t matter to you.
If you wanted to climb up to the highest height, Colby would go with you. If you wanted to go thrill seeking, he would be right by your side. If you just wanted a quiet day, he’d be there with you, because you were always there for him. Whether you knew it or not.
The nights when Colby couldn’t sleep; the madness in his mind. The toxic thoughts that plagued his brain. He always thought about what you would do or say so he could calm down. When he was desperate and broken, crying in his room, he’d think of you. You’d comfort him. Those 2AM mornings when he just couldn’t seem to get it together and he couldn’t sleep or scream or cry, he’d think of you. He knew that he needed you, but he thought that you didn’t need him.
But he finally realized it. He knew it. He loved you, and he was going to have to tell you. He wanted to scream it from the rooftops in L.A. He loved you.
What he didn’t realize was that you would do it first.
As he reached over to pick up his phone, it started buzzing. He almost dropped it. When he turned it over, he saw it was you. He panicked for a moment but then he answered.
“Hel-“
“Can you come over here?” you voice asked softly through the phone.
“Of course! Are you okay?” Colby hurriedly asked, hoping up to put on some pants and a shirt to go over.
“Yeah, I’m fine. I think anyway,” you said. His face scrunched up in confusion but he shook it off and finished rushing to get ready. He slipped into some shoes and hopped up and down a few times until the slid over his heel. He went downstairs and grabbed his keys and went out the door.
“What’s going on?” he asked as he got into his car and peeled out of the parking lot and onto the road.
“I don’t want to say over the phone. Let me know when you get here?”
“Sure. I’ll be there in about 15 minutes,” he said.
15 minutes. The suspense was already killing him. You had asked him to come over before, but never like this. It sounded urgent and important and Colby was a little scared.
“Okay. See you then,” you said and you hung up the phone. Colby set his phone down in the cup holder and he locked his eyes on the road. His fingers began to drum on the steering wheel and eventually he went to turn the music on. His stomach was in knots and it was going to be for a little less than 15 minutes.
How was it that he was thinking about you and you called? Not only thinking about you, but deciding that he had to tell you how he felt? That was strange.
He was going to tell you. That was what he forgot. His chest squeezed for a moment and he took a deep breath. How was he gonna tell you? He didn’t have a plan. Of course, he wouldn’t tell you tonight. You had something serious that you wanted to talk about and that took precedence.
Suddenly, he arrived in front of your apartment. He pulled into a spot and he made his way to your door. He knocked and you opened the door, looking a bit disheveled.
“Are you okay?” he asked, upping your face to meet his eyes. You looked scared and you looked like you had been crying.
“Uh, yeah. Come in,” you said and you opened the door all the way. Colby followed you in and you led him to the living room. He sat down and looked at you cautiously.
“I’ve got something I need to say,” you said and started pacing. Colby’s chest clenched again and he leaned forward on his knees as you were walking. “I’ve been needing to say it for a long time and I’ve just been scared to do it. But I need to, and I finally realized it tonight. I don’t know why tonight, but it was.”
You stopped pacing and you met his eyes that were staring back at yours.
“Colby, I want to do everything with you. I want to go to the highest building and stand at the top. I want to go cliff diving with you. I want to go bungee jumping and sky diving and all of that. I want to go with you at 4AM down to the grocery store and get some ice cream and have a crazy night. I want to go through the hard times with you,” you confessed and you took a step closer to him. “I want to be with you when the evilness consumes my thoughts. I want to be with you when I barely feel like I can be myself. I want to be with you through the lowest lows and the highest highs. I want to be there with you when you guys become the top earning youtubers in the world. I want to be there when you travel to the ends of the earth. I want to be with you through tears, laughter, smiles, scowls, and everything in between. Do you know why, Colby?” you asked as you crouched down so you could be eye level. “Because I love you, Colby. I’ve known for a long time but I’ve been afraid to tell you. And I know, I’m probably going to hurt you. I’m going to screw up, but I had to tell you how I felt. I just had to.”
Colby blinked a few times. You had said it first. He smiled wide and then he leaned over and kissed you. He moved his lips to fit with yours and he tried to reciprocate all the feelings that you had just told him. You had been having the same thoughts as he had. He was over the moon.
He pulled away and smiled at your dazzling eyes.
“I love you, too,” he said. He grabbed your hands and pulled you so you could sit in his lap and he held you in his arms. He stroked your hair and after a few moments, he peppered your face with kisses. You giggled and he moved and pinned you on the couch. He kissed you all over and you laughed. He had been wanting to do this for so long, and now his moments finally came.
He pulled away and he stared at your face. Your cheeks were rosy and your eyes were extra sparkly.
“Jump with me,” he said, a smile plastered on his face.
“Anytime,” you replied.
Colby smirked and then buried his face in your neck. You smiled and moaned as he left his markings on you. All in the name of love.
