First thing I post in buttfuck amount of time and of course it's the soccer children. my apologies to everyone who followed me for literally anything else.

i think that after drawing it, the Fei design might've grown on me, he just looks so fucking miserable

get that dude comfy clothes and a hot cocoa please

...they made him CEO of time travel malpractice...

so thanks to last trailer i now think i understand why Haru/Harper has such a scary vibe to me : he is severely depressed and has no drive in life.

i don't think he even likes soccer. i don't think he even cares.

i don't think he ever got the chance to know who HE is. he's stuck in his father's shadow and has resigned himself to be there because he doesn't know anything else and doesn't feel like he's allowed to quit

there's so many expectant eyes on this poor boy...

and he IS good at it, so much so that he's known as a soccer monster. but there's no love behind it. i just really feel bad for him.

and then of course... as the protagonist. Unmei/Destin is an instant blorbo. he's such a fun character !

he's got such a good personality ( the deadpan sass, the social impairment, the borderline stalker behavior, the stubbornness... oh i love him. he is neurodivergent. )

AND he's physically disabled rep ( and not in a way that is obvious at first glance ) !! isn't that so cool !

not to mention, maybe he's even got some sort of schizophrenic or schizoaffective disorder ( not that i'm an expert ), because let's be honest, heart disease + neurodivergent + "i see hallucinations of football" combo ? i am staring.

it's worth noting that his hallucinations seemingly stem from a traumatic experience ( yes i count that as a traumatic experience, i mean dude his whole personality changed and he started repressing ) and said trauma is in direct link with his heart condition.

overall what an interesting little lad, i can't wait to see more of him and how he interacts with others as the game progresses ( from trailers it looks like he's slowly regaining his joy of life !! you go little guy, reclaim your passions, find your whimsy )
