That being said, how about that Book VII theme for FE heroes?

ok but for real I'm STRUGGLING

I like "you can't fight fate" stories. I like time travel and time loop stories. I like the weird desert-esque setting. I kiiiiiiind of like the multitone, bismuth-esque aesthetic for Seithr/Heithr. I HATE the summoner baby thing even though Heithr is... fine. I like the new mechanical changes (bonuses are at least more interesting than... whatever the fuck book 6 did. Movement I think? And Feuds. The new stuff like Terrain tho? Chefs kiss. Love it).

The OCs are... extremely Gacha game (not a bad thing, but definitely a thing that not everyone vibes with). I like Seithr mechanically with the end turn thing, Gullveig is not mechanically distinct enough from Leif/Edelgard imo, galeforce units is the same, Heithr is interesting support but ultimately not crazy. I think action economy is kind of the most important meta change they've introduced since movement and it's kind of always been premium, which is why double dancers are so rare (Duo Peony, Harmonic Dorothea, and Harmonic Azura are I think it? And then there's the pseudo double dancers of Brave Marianne and Legendary Ninian, but both of those are a bit more finicky tbh), so I certainly don't hate them experimenting with it some here.

Nerthuz is... ok. Sure, fine, I know the target audience. I think her color scheme is cool, and I'm not a huge fan of her playstyle niche with damage reflection AND Galeforce (She's doing too much, focus on one thing pls), and Njordr has an interesting design FEH wise but is such a nothingburger of a villian, what an actual waste. And if his playstyle gimmick mirrors anything of the fucking other Vanaheim Goats I'm going to self immolate, they are BORING units THERE I SAID IT. Freyr is the most interesting literally by virtue of them saying "Actually, Elimine has had it too good for too long. And by too good I mean you can False Start one column, better make it count. Oh wait now you can't False Start any column, PSYCH HERE IS A CATRIA BALL"

Anyways yes I have normal thoughts and feelings about this phone game. I am not at all too invested.

??? asked: Do you think any of the gods/goddesses in feh have like uniquely colored blood? (Like ones from Vanaheimr having sparkly/shiny blood) And do you think Heithr and Tahlia would have that even though they have human parents?

Firstly I am giddy about my oc being mentioned so thank you for that :D

Onto the actual question, I’ve never thought about that! But now that I am, I like the idea that Vanaheimr gods have iridescent kinda blood that matches their hair colours? Though I think Heiðr while cursed and Gullveig would have golden blood then.

Heiðr is treated as entirely a goddess (probably in part as the only way to not spoil her parentage lol), so I wonder if the magic baby ritual is a more godly thing… like I believe she has some human in her but perhaps it somehow makes the child more god than human? So yes she would definitely have the godly kind of blood.

Tahlia, though… I imagine she comes off as a lot more human. She has more human background than god. The tips of her hair are all iridescent like Heiðr’s, and I keep forgetting to post about this (maybe I will shortly after!) but when she’s in battle I think bubbles like Heiðr’s would appear. Like imagine her as a unit in Feh… they would be in her special attack art.

So, for her blood, hmm… I think it would be red, it would look human but maybe it’d be a bit sparkly. Cuz she’s got some godly aspects, they just aren’t as apparent unless you look closer really.

And then for other gods in Feh hmm I suppose they might have unique blood too then! I’m not sure what that would look like hmm… if you want me to kinda try to imagine for each god, send another ask and I’d be glad to :) 🙏

AGHHH HOW CAN THEY DO THAT TO ME, POSTING THE ENDING MOVIE TO BOOK 7 JUST LIKE THAT???

I was not prepared, not expecting it at alllllll….

Though it’s fitting, for a book about time, that it comes at a time when nobody saw it coming.

I’m a bit sad that it’s nearly time to say goodbye to Book 7… I know it wasn’t the most popular, but I still rather enjoyed it!! Even got a new favourite character out of it!

Now to copy paste my thoughts from twitter bc I am lazy lol:

Njörðr also was really cool!! I think his design was neat and he didn’t get the time (hahah time) needed to really develop his motives or anything but I think he was neat nonetheless and I appreciate his existence. Let’s hope he doesn’t take 10 years to get a playable version
