FEERINE BELHADJ OL INTERVIEW

Belhadj: Well, I'm really proud. That's the first word that comes to mind. Honestly, after so many years, I've sacrificed so much for so many years, it's a good start. I'm starting a new chapter but it's just the beginning. It's just the beginning but I hope it's a long [chapter], I hope it's really long. I worked really hard, I think it's a good learning opportunity. But I hope it will continue and I want to continue learning.

Belhadj: In terms of the club, I hope to win as many trophies as possible and enjoy it as much as possible.

Belhadj: Things are going well but it's just the beginning. As we know, in football anything can happen, anything can change. But I'm ready to work hard.

Bompastor: Yes, Feerine is a player we've been following for several seasons now. She started with Olympique Lyonnais at age 15 as a goalkeeper. Feerine is someone who is really passionate about her future, she works hard to succeed at the highest level. And for the Lyon project, it's always interesting to have young talented players integrate the pro group to continue to progress. [I disagree but whatever]. It also helps the team continue to achieve the objectives they've set.

Bompastor: Feerine puts in a lot of work, she is exemplary. She invests an enormous amount in her future. As I said, she really wants to succeed in the future, on a sporting level but also in terms of her education. She's a brilliant student who gets good grades and she is exemplary. In terms of her mentality on the field, she is really engaged, she sets the example. She can be a leader because beyond the fact she succeeds academically she also is one on the field. She shows the path for the academy players but also the ... less young players on how to have a good attitude and perform well.
