Any opinion on the Pokemon Gigaleak or nah?

I think seeing some of the WIP assets from when gen 3 was in development is kinda neat, because Game Freak is normally so secretive about that kind of thing. But beyond that I mostly just find this whole situation tiring.

Fans have a tendency to almost treat scrapped material as "more canon" than whatever actually made it into the finished product, in a way. It's treated as this pure, unfiltered insight into the creators' true vision. In reality, most of the time this stuff gets cut for a reason. Sometimes they very quickly realize it was a bad idea that was never gonna work, and they don't go very far with it. Sometimes it's a pitch from just one guy on the team that was never gonna get accepted. Sometimes they're just spitballing. Experimentation and iteration and knowing when to cut things are integral parts of the artistic process.

And hell, a lot of the time creators will just mess around with an idea purely as a creative exercise, or to get an idea out of their system, or to explore a crazy what-if scenario, or even just as a joke, with no intention of ever actually using those ideas. We recently saw this same thing happened with those leaked Rebecca Sugar sketches, where people were like "OMG Rebecca ships this, this is what they REALLY wanted to do with the show, this is canon, this was happening off-screen!!" And it's like, y'all have no idea how much crazy shit your favorite artists draw with their characters just to amuse themselves. The crew on Clarence had a not-so-secret Tumblr where they redrew scenes from Evangelion with Clarence characters. That doesn't mean they wanted to turn Clarence into Eva. They were just screwing around. This happens all the time, and with way more extreme examples than these. Lord knows how many Disney animators have drawn Mickey Mouse with his dick out over the years. That doesn't mean they ever actually wanted to make an official Mickey Mouse porno.

And, of course, there's the response to those myths that were never supposed to see the light of day. Anyone who's even passingly familiar with mythology from just about any part of the world shouldn't be surprised to hear fables about humans and animals having babies or whatever. But now people are responding to those unused stories and going "OMG Game Freak is a bunch of gooners who want humans and Pokemon to have sex!! This is canon!!!" It's so fucking tiring. So much of the modern internet, particularly Twitter, is driven by people who just want an excuse to whip out their favorite shocked/disgusted reaction image and ham up their reaction to something that isn't actually all that shocking. Everyone just wants to get their funny dunks in and feign moral superiority. It's childish. And it's because of reactions like this that this stuff was never supposed to see the light of day in the first place. But fans feel like they're owed every single shred of info from the development of their favorite franchises, so these leaks happen and people run wild with them.

(It also doesn't help that this is all just sourced back to a 4chan thread, so people were posting fake shit between the real leaks and muddying the waters. And also most of it is in Japanese, so people are just sticking documents through Google Translate and going "whooooaaaa this is canon")

anyway, I think that deserves celebrating! So, here’s a couple ideas I came up with for y’all to vote on, with the option of sharing other ideas in the comments, I’ll do the top two and save the others for the next milestone :)

I will expand on each option here for clarity in your decision making:

CS one-shot: I will write a one-shot (3,000-5,000 words prob) based in the CS universe. It will be canon to the fic but will never be mentioned/referenced in the fic itself so stand alone to read. It may be a future scene, may be based somewhere in the current timeline. Open to ideas on the POV and such (though I have some floating around that I can do ;))

Q&A/Ask the Cast: a classic, I know my ask box is open but here's also a clear chance to ask something that you've been really curious about! I won't share spoilers for the story, but everything else is on the table, including stuff about me, writing etc. Just no super personal questions is all! Additionally, you can ask the cast questions and answers will be in character, perhaps with a little doodle as well ^-^

Finished refs/busts for the cast of CS: I'll post the finished versions of the rough sketches I shared a few months ago, along with the remainder of the cast! This includes the rest of the engineering team, the division heads, the glamrocks, and the DCA! I also will include little blurbs for all the characters as well. This will probably happen eventually anyway BUT if you want them sooner rather than later this is you're chance if you're curious :)

Spooky Season one-shot: something halloween-related that again I'm open to ideas for! Would also be about 3,000-5,000 words in length, could be related to CS or not

Day 30

Alright this is a fuckin big one, for a variety of reasons. One of which being that this is the 30th Day, meaning we've hit another Milestone Piece!

First off, last time I’ll link this here, but if you like this comic and want to see it realized in a slightly more fullfilling way, go check out this fanfic which i posted across October.

Secondly, I’m about to Yap. A lot. So i’m gonna put this all underneath to read because it is a lot, which is to be expected since this is a pretty big piece for the project. And alongside that I wanna talk about the Vampire AU fic.

Okay so “where the fuck did this come from,” you might be wondering. Up till now every pic I had made was sketches with the most color being just the eyes. All of those colored pieces were given that color work long after this one, so what the hell possessed me to make a two page comic.

Well you see. I’m a bit of a fuckin weirdo who completely lacks a concept of self control. And I was starting to really, REALLY get into the idea of Vampire Junkan (No fucking surprise there.) And while I had drawn a few pics involving blood sucking up to that point, I hadn’t drawn their first time doing this, and I am very much into the intimacy that comes with Bloodsucking in the context of vampire yuri. And I can’t imagine their would be anything more intimate than the first time a vampire sucks your blood.

So it spiraled out of control from there, and boom, we have a fuckin two page comic.

Before I start talking about the actual Vampire Fic I should detail that this piece was the pivotal shift in the timeline for this project. Because it was with this one (if I remember right) that this BECAME a project. I had joked about drawing 100 Junkan pics a few times with Val, since by this point I was still drawing these at a crazy speed. As I said in a previous post, from Day 3 to Day 30 I did this all in under 2 fucking weeks, even if they weren’t colored that’s wild pace. 

I’ve never asked her but I wonder what that was like from Val’s perspective, just some random chick on tumblr comes up to you and is like-

“Hello there I like your fanfic, do you want to have Junkan art thrown at you nearly every day for the next 2 weeks???” 

That sounds like a fucking fever dream. And that’s not even considering everything else I would just, send to them for the remainder of the projects production. Some would say I’m built differently, I would say I was built concerningly.

Anyway, so by this point I made the official decision that when I hit 100 Pics, I would start posting them to the public. This eventually would be named The 100 Days of Junkan. So thankyou Vampire Junkan you are somehow vital to this whole thing.

Another thing this comic caused is that it was the trigger for me to just say “Fuck it” and just fully lock in on these pieces. I started doing full color on some of these pieces asI was making them initially rather than going back to color them retroactively, I started putting more effort into the pieces even when they were still just sketches, and as a spoiler, once we hit Day 45 i just drop the pretense that I’m not putting effort into this and every fucking pic is full color. There are literally only two of them I did not color and there was actual artistic intent behind it probably i can’t fucking remember.

Also once we hit Day 45 do we hit the point where I just no longer have pics where I feel like they were a dud. Cause I will admit, while I’m glad ya’ll have been enjoying these I can’t lie and say I don’t see some of the pics posted so far and feel like I’ve wasted some of ya’lls time. This is admittedly influenced by the fact that I know what’s coming up and as a result I know the massive jump in quality we’re gonna hit soon enough (in my opinion at least, i feel like I’m being a pretentious bitch about this).

Anyway so how’re you doin. I hope you were snacking on something while you read this because now I’m going to ramble for an unknown stretch of time about the Vampire Junkan Fic and this comic. I’m so fuckin sorry.

So anyway I’ve said briefly before I think but prior to actually writing the Fic I only had this fucking comic. I had vague ideas around it, but never a setup, an overall plot, nothing. I made this fic solely because I thought this scene would be significantly better written rather than drawn by my hands. 

I would not consider myself much of a writer. I have plenty of experience writing action from years and years ago, however in terms of telling an actual story through just writing, i’m an amateur and only had one small fic to my name, however i’m going to retread ground and go over that in much more detail, much later. I am a funny drawing woman first and my biggest desire in life is to make a webcomic called Happy Trigger. That said, ever since getting into Junkan I have had multiple urges to write stories with them since i cannot justify doing full comics as often as would be required. And one such story is that of a vampire nurse who’s never sucked blood before falling in love with someone who desires to have their blood sucked. 

I did start writing this fic a few months prior to the completion of the project. How many? Who fucking knows, it’s been a long time though.

The original first chapter actually went through a pretty big rewrite, mostly because the way I was interpreting vampires in this fic might have been racist?? Maybe???? I did have friends look it over and they said it could be interpreted as such (though they also said I would probably be fine), and I’m going to be real with you this was back when I was deeply paranoid about everything so hearing that there was even a small chance i might have fucked up like that, while also dealing with a ship which at the time I assumed would get me hated by the community, I just went ahead and rewrote. I couldn’t tell you what the original was like because it’s been a long time and i don’t even know if I have the original file. And I honestly don't think the original details would have really or added or changed much.

I had a relatively thin outline for this in my brain once I started. And said outline got pretty much entirely thrown out the window.

Fun fact, the original plan was for Mikan to just run away because people knew she was a vampire, and part of getting her to open up was Sayaka and Ibuki going public about being Vampires as well. Which would then lead into Junko coming in and then all the rest happening.

Scrapped most of that obviously.

So I just ended up taking the approach of “just write it and hope” which would eventually lead to the outline in my brain that became the whole of this fic. Chapter 3 is when things really solidified for me. It’s also where I decided to include a few more characters, Seiko and Ruruka.

I have wanted to draw art involving Ruruseiko and Junkan for so fucking long. Mikan and Seiko are already a dynamic with a lot of potential despite their lack of interactions in canon, meanwhile Junko and Ruruka I imagine would just fucking hate eachother. Tolerating each other only out of bitch girl solidarity and the fact that their girlfriends are besties. 

Originally they were not going to take such an important role, once again I scrapped planned scenes involving Sayaka and Ibuki alongside Mukuro, this would eventually get redone a LOT and reused for the epilogue as the twist that the two are vampires. (Hi, slightly in the future Jem here, I scrapped the epilogue lol. Couldn't get it to feel right, maybe someday!)

However  just couldn’t think of a way to make it work. And then, I considered the idea of Junko getting her wakeup call from a total bitch who she hates rather than her actual friends. And I fucked with it, and I had fun. 

This was my first time writing Junko in a non-despair context, which was a pretty interesting (and difficult) experience. Equally so this is my first time properly trying to write Mikan, even if it was via the lens of her being a vampire which does switch things up a little. I think if I really thought about it Mikan was the harder one to write for though, I was constantly worried that I might be going a bit too overboard for the tragic aspects of her character whenever they came up.

Another thing cut from the story is that Chihiro was supposed to be genderfluid (which is genuinely just how I headcanon Chihiro) in the fic with Junko making specific note of it during her inner monologue. However as I was looking over the chapters again I got extremely paranoid that I did a horrible job depicting that and opted to keep things ambiguous. Was this the right move? Probably not, but this is just how bad my brain can get when I’m doing things other than drawing.

If you were at all curious "Hey Jem, what was the most stressful chapter to work on?" it was the fuckin Aquarium chapter. Not only was it the one I procrastinated on the most but my confidence in it was at at it's lowest for some reason. Fun fact about that one, Junko really was going to ask Mikan about sucking her blood at the end of the chapter, but I decided to keep things simple with a confession and kissing scene. It didn't really change much beyond a bit of inner monologue stuff.

The entire experience was a constant flip flop of me in two different headspaces. I was either-

“Oh hey this is pretty fun, it’s going well”

Or

“Fuck, shit, fuck am I doing this right? Fuck this is gonna suck, shit dammit, I never wanna write again.”

This is what happens when I don’t say in the lane I’m most comfortable with (drawing), self confidence is liable to just completely plummet at some point. Quite frankly if I did not force myself onto a deadline of getting this fic done before day 30 it would not have been finished, at least not for a drainingly long time. I originally wanted to have the whole fic finished before the event started, but time got away from me and the fic itself ended up being way longer than intended. I think this was supposed to just be 6 chapters at first? And it kinda spiraled out of control from there.

I’m just glad I fucking finally got the idea of this comic onto text, it’s been haunting me for the past 9 months. 

I’ve come to the conclusion that I have a very love-hate relationship with Writing, similar to how I feel with painting. I love having a way to get my ideas out there that isn’t super strenuous for me (imagine if I took this whole story and made it a comic, i’d explode), but where it lacks in physical strain, it makes up for in extreme mental strain due to my self confidence and paranoia issues.

That said I likely will write again, the results generally end up outweighing the hellish process, and people seem to like it despite my worries. And I just have far too many ideas and not all of them can be done justice with art alone.

I’ve got a few potential One-shots left that are set in the Vampire AU, one of which i’ll probably write soon. I’ve also got the Cybertron AU that’s been my head for a good bit now which will probably be my next big writing project. I’ve got a few storylines and ideas based on future pieces of this project, and even an idea kicking around from a recent pic I did which I likely won’t execute because I don’t think in a million years I could do the idea justice.

And I also wanna do fics for other ships, like Ruruseiko or Mikuzono (Mukuro x Ibuki x Sayaka). And even outside of Danganronpa I wanna do Flarelu, since I’m a huge Fairy Tail fan and that’s my favorite ship from the series. Imagine if Mikan’s hair was even more skrunkly, and instead  of having an extremely high body count, Junko was just a very friendly girlfailure. There’s like, nothing for that ship, so I’d like to do something like what I’ve been doing for Junkan . . . Y’know just maybe a bit less excessive.

It was close to midnight. Rui stayed up late to do some machine sketches. But really, the reason he was staying up so late was because he was still worried about Nene. He hasn't seen her since Mizuki died. He was getting worried.

Nene...be safe...

He was lost in his thoughts when his eyelids felt heavy. He slowly gave in and fell asleep.

He wakes up to an...unfamiliar place.

Hng...w-where am I...?

Rui gets uo and looks around. He recognizes this place as a backstage to a stage. But from where?

What is this place...?

Rui's ears then catch something. Music? Singing? He approaches the stages entrance, and peeks at the stage. On the stage were three robots. He could only recognize one of them. Tsukasa. One of the others was pink and the other was blue.

Daisy! Daisy! Give me your answer do! I'm half crazy! All for the love of you!!

It won't be a stylish marriage!! I can't! Afford! A carriage!!

Suddenly, Tsukasa's head snapped and it looked at Rui dead in the eye with void eyes.

Gah-!

But you look sweet.

The other two robots did the same.

Upon the seat.

Then the audience joined.

Of a bicycle built for two....

....what's going o-

Rui felt two hands on his face.

You're perfect...you need to join them! You must...join them.

Join us Rui Kamishiro.

...!!!

Then fingers digged Rui's skin.

No..

They dragged it...

And ripped his skin apart.

Suddenly a huge, hard force hit his head.

Rui was able to look up. Only to see a girl holding a hammer.

S-STOP!

The girl hit him again.

The girl hit the final blow.

Rui was in so much pain. But he felt it slowly go away. He looks up to see he was in a pitch dark place with only a mirror in front of him. Rui shakily got up and went over to the mirror. When he looked at it, nothing was there.

Where am I....?

When he spoke, his eyes widened. He sounded very distorted. Almost...robotic. Rui placed his hand on the mirror only to be met with his own reflection. But it was different. He wasn't the same anymore. He wasn't RUI anymore. He was met with a robot version of himself. Rui was shocked. He placed a hand on his face, only to feel a hard, metalic surface.

....!!! No...no...

AAAUGH!!!!!! Huh-?!

He wakes up on his desk.

Heavy breathing...

Rui?! Is everything okay?!

T-Tsukasa...? Oh thank goodness...it was just a nightmare...

Oh...Night-mare! You mean like...dream but homicidal?

...yeah.

Well...don't stay up so late!! If you want I can sing you a lullaby to sleep!!

No need...I'll get to bed myself...

Tsukasa looks at the clock. It was close to midnight.

Just a little status update that mentions some medical stuff under the cut.

This gauntlet of sick dad and emergencies expenses is still ongoing since last year, but I’m happy to say the house is almost sold so they can have that money vs the bank taking it. Now they can settle into a RV or the likes. That’s a small blessing as my dad goes into his surgery today. Probably not going to have a foot when he comes out the other end but I really hope this signals the uptick in healing and not him just perpetually hurt and in the ER off and on forever. Been a wild one! Just felt like checking in again with this space since a lot of the folks who reached out to help by buying art came from tumblr. I’m nearing the end of the commission Que I took on to help off set the costs of the emergency but it all got done at a much slower rate then I liked but it’s been an interesting balancing act of making sure I take the time for thing important to me in this haze of- least you lose the ability to do so forever- vibe. And then also truth be told got a lot of grieving done in there for my folks and their situation which made focusing on art hard.

But I feel like in my bones they might finally catch a break even if they have to live without a proper home to get it. They’ll have shelter and it’ll be a frugal situation but it’s not one where my dad is forced to keep working while severely hurt just because if he stopped they’d immediately get steam rolled by debt and bills. He just got full disability which means he can finally drop 2 out of his three jobs. He’ll probably still do small time freelance stuff but I really just wanted him to not be an absurdly on point metaphor for the working class being grinded to dust despite doing everything right outside of not being born rich, having a human body, and having family with medical needs. It’s crazy how if I had my dads job as a young person with no kids and limited bills I’d be doing phenomenally well, but despite my dad grinding his way into a union electrician job- by the time he got it the family had already dealt with one to many surgeries and near death medical bills for it to help. It’s wild and I hate it. You do everything right and break your body for the companies and your still left with a missing foot and a life where your gonna move in with your elderly mom with your family until you can secure a RV. Bah I could go on forever upset about it but the long and short of it is that I want my parents to get the means to just sit on a porch of some kind and REST. Get a dang break. Maybe that’ll happen soon. Dad says they’ll visit me immediately once he’s better and the thought makes me very weepy in a good way. 🥹

At any rate I’m going to do my darnedest to finish my commission que and then get RGs update out the door which I’ve been chipping away at anyways for a for me mental break. Got like 20 pages sketched and postable if in the end I decide to not color them at all. We shall see I’m still excited for that project so I want to do some lighting at the very least but in the end if I need to post just to get the story out I will!

I really enjoyed this season of Black mirror, even with the demons and the werewolves. It was a fun switch up, plus the tech stuff was still good!

Loved the Streamberry gimick and all the Easter eggs 🤪

Don't want to make this post too long so I'll say a couple of sentences for each episode:

1) Joan is Awful - Strong, funny episode and the actors killed it! Everyone on Joan's life was insane for not immediately supporting her lmao (Krish included!), a tv show about her life is special circumstances. (Annie Murphy and Salma Hayek were awesome)

2) Loch Henry - I knew that that Janet was mad sketch. I felt so bad for Davis and Pia: she deserved better! (Also people are TERRIFYING)

3) Beyond the Sea - honestly what did Cliff expect? David was wild though, to be fair grief does make you crazy lol. Wearing the replica and seeing Lana did NOT help.

4) Mazey Day - I'm glad the paparazzi got killed, it's what they deserved and I hope it hurt. Also lol werewolves

5) Demon 79 - I can't even put in words how grateful I was that Nida wasn't crazy and hallucinating 😭. I loved her and Gaap, and I chose to see their ending as a happy one!

This is out of context i know but im trying to get you up to speed on what im talking about though i feel like your gonna be reading all this going "huh" cause i didn't explain it to you correctly but bare with me pleasE? i wanna scream

I LOVE THIS POST SO MUCH FOR EXPLAINING THIS its so interesting Prototype Deku's name is Akatani Mikumo and the prototype Bakugo nicknamed him based on recklessness Yamikumo -> dark cloud HBHJ BHJ GHHGG im in love with this

But lets take it from the top of what im thinking sort of AU sort of two parted thing. Also this twitter thread is sooooo good too just explaining the one shots Hori did before MHA but it's mostly just feels like Shigarki and Deku in other lives

Lets just get into the prototypes im sorry im just gonna talk jvktngjk im crazy right now in this sort of AU world?

SO Yamikumo (Deku)

He's like everything Deku is not, i see him as a coward because in the oneshot "Black Milk" one of Hori's friends did where they used this design to make a bad guy once he saw that he was losing after he threw a car off a highway he tried to run and became afraid

I think despite being a coward is personality is that of - if he's helping so one he's also ridiculing them for being too weak to do it themself yet he's here! standing up and helping them, that kind of personality cause in that post it explains that Bakugo nicknames him Yamikumo for being reckless, i like to imagine he says he doesn't want to help but he does it anyway/ends up helping people cause he can't stand the sight of someone in danger so Bakugo calls him reckless cause he always jumps in without a plan a opposite to Deku almost cause Deku does think things through sometimes but Deku is reckless Yamikumo is reckless in almost the same way.

LETS talk about Bakugo now,

So his name is Gougou in the prototype, Bakugo Gougou, the way it explains his personality sounds to me almost like Senku and that's insane to me, the dynamic between Bakugo and Deku is so different like "natural born genius who inadvertently insults people" he's proud about his intelligence and he can back it up he isn't being rude from his perspective

Which brings me to Kirishima before i talk about Uraraka

He was supposed to be a delinquent, AGAIN can you imagine the dynamic between Bakugo and Kirishima?? this fanart i enjoy this interaction, Kirishima thinking Bakugo's ego is bold but also i think they would have some semblance of a bully situationship going on, Bakugo isn't scared of him at all the way Kirishima isn't scared of regular Bakugo but i still think scenes of Kirishima Gougou exist like "WHOA HEY DONT DO THAT!" frighteningly

Delinquent Kirishima he was tired of being of no use and instead of putting on a "manly" persona he became a jerk, he doesn't want to let anything bother him and feel weak he acts like a jerk, his character arc would be him calming down like original Bakugo

Her name was going to be "Yu Takeyama" she was going to have Mt. Lady's identity and Gigantification Quirk i call her Yuraraka

by looks alone she looks like she might be involved, like she doesn't wanna associate with anyone however shes supposed to be like Mt Lady so she probably is shy and quiet but puts on a mean persona and likes to get paid the way Mt Lady originally did idk i have thoughts but they aren't all together yet.

Shes somehow YamiKumo and Gougou's friend i feel like she's moreso Gougou's friend and thinks Yamikumo is a weirdo and always says how she can agree with what Gougou is saying always putting Yamikumo down but it doesn't bother him.

Iida i think from these sketches he looks like flaunts how rich he is with the expensive looking watch on his arm but he's a bad boy? look at that wild hair and that hair growing on his chin, he's an upstart, he's arrogant he and Kirishima might clash alot be those two boys who're always fighting in class he's Kirishima's rival sort of? or maybe just a guy he doesn't like. I don't know how he feels about Yamikumo i haven't thought that far or how he would feel about Uraraka

Midnight was gonna be their homeroom teacher, she looks to me like she would let a lot of things slide in the classroom since UA's like they let the teachers teach however they want, i feel like if Iida and Kirishima would start fighting she'd let them take it outside have the whole class watch and gather what they learn from this as a learning experience "NOW CLASS why did Kirishima or Iida win/lose?" and have everyone explain in front of them why they thought they won or not then have her explain what it was or agree with a classmate who got it right. she would be putting Kirishima and Iida to sleep alot cause they are rowdy

Kaminari looks way too much like Mic, he pegs me as trying to hang out with Kirishima or Iida which ever one won the fight or is shown to be stronger (surround yourself with strong people and you'll never be hurt kinda of guy) and trying to be a delinquent but hes just not cut out for it not because he's too nice but he's too much of a coward with a bad attitude but the moment somebody kicks his butt he tries to be on their good side so he doesn't get hurt anymore, he underestimates himself and he's a sort of a bully that pretends to overestimate himself in front of others, i hope you get what im saying

I think Momo, her normal weight is bigger but she wants to look “beautiful” so she’s always seen as skinny using her quirk to burn all fat, i did speak to you about me and my friend's AU based off this prototype AU where i gave designs i think?? i'll talk about that another time im just spilling my mind about the design and personalities rn

Mina looks insane, i think she would be ditzy, not dumb shes really silly and she knew Kirishima in middle school they either didn't interact like canon or they used to be friends? i don't know maybe she thought they were friends but Kirishima was always jealous of her

yeah.. tsukasa admiring senku's beauty is my weakness. i ended up turning this idea of mine into a fic because why not

“Yep, love you too.”

Once Tsukasa left the house and drove away to wherever his interview was being held, Senku returned to their bedroom. 

He crawled underneath the blankets with a heavy sigh. For once, he was content with going to bed early. It’d really been a day, to say the least, and forcing himself to go on much longer felt illogical (plus he didn’t want to deal with another one of Tsukasa’s lectures about pushing himself too far and whatnot later.)

Senku reached over to the nightstand to grab his phone, but that was when he noticed something he didn’t recall putting there—a small notebook of sorts.

“Hm?”

The little book appeared plain enough. Its cover was solid burgundy and ever-so-slightly torn on the bottom edge, indicating gentle use, and there was a pencil tucked into the spiral.

Curious, the scientist picked it up and opened it to a random page, and he was pleasantly surprised.

It was full of sketches—sketches of scenery, of wild animals, and of Senku. He wasn’t too shocked; he knew Tsukasa had been dabbling in art during his free time recently. Senku was simply taken aback by how wonderful the illustrations were. His partner clearly had a great sense of the human form. Though, he couldn’t help but feel a bit flustered by a few of the drawings..

Damn, the anatomy here is ten billion percent impressive. Crazy for a guy who claims to be an amateur, Senku thought as the corners of his lips formed a smile.

The sketches of Senku in particular mostly involved him doing standard everyday things—tinkering with random objects, taking a nap on the couch, sitting in the grass, writing something down, reading a science journal, et cetera. Yet, they all looked ethereal in a way. The way Tsukasa found beauty in everything Senku did made the latter’s face feel a bit warmer.

He closed the sketchbook with a chuckle and returned it to its former place on the nightstand.

Maybe I’ll poke fun at him for those illogical ones later. ♥

I started this post off half an edible last night and now am having a margarita at the airport since my flight got delayed💀 and since life has been crazy so the self ship brain rot has been INSANE lately esp bc me and one of my besties rewatched a bunch of HQ!! lately so I've been thinking about Asahi and am about to share all these ideas<3 I'm putting in undercut feel free to interact or share any of your self ships

We def met in class like some elective literature course. Our majors are so different with me being in anthropology and him in fashion school we both would pick some random historical literature class just to do something different and get out of our own departments. It would take at least half the semester for us to star talking though. I am notorious for a little classroom crush so I fell in love on sight, constantly talked about him to my friends, constantly had my friends asking if I had talked to him yet, stalked his Instagram to learn about him, etc. And though Asahi has a better grip on his anxiety when in college, he's still prone to anxious habits and after how people saw him in high school as "scary" he is not one to put himself out there. So he ends up having a lil classroom crush on me as the days go by and as I speak out more in class. I love a good chance to talk which I think he'd admire and it would make him fall for me. Half way through the semester I would finally make the move by asking him to be my partner on the newest assignment for the class. We'd both just be standing there like "holy fuck this hot person is talking to me" but not realize that the other is thinking it too LMAO. But you know as time went on and we got closer (being project partners meant the BEST reason to get his number see I be PLANNING) and I finally worked up the courage to ask him on a date and he said yes<33

Once finally in a relationship I feel like we'd have to opposite of a honeymoon phase. The first few months would be very awkward and we both overthink to the max so we'd be very scared of upsetting the other. After some time thought we'd finally have a nerve wracking yet honest conversation to actually establish boundaries, what we need, etc and like never have a relationship problem again. And that's when we both realize how much words of affirmations are both our love languages so we get comfortable being sappy<33 like we’re SO that couple saying cutesy shit 24/7 and leaving lil notes for each other on the mirror or in each other’s backpacks etc!! And we’re both not really PDA people so it balances perfectly😝

We have the same music taste for SURE like we both love some indie, mountain music I’m talking Briston Maroney, Noah Kahan, Backseat Lovers, etc we are both men with anxiety so this genre speaks to us🙏 However, Asahi does not understand the Lana hype but still supports me LOL sometimes I just have to cosplay a woman in a toxic relationship on the west coast (all things I’m just not💀) and he’s learned to let me have my fun after some reassurance that I just like the music and don’t actually think of him as bad (he’s too precious pls)

We are SO interested in each other’s line of work like I’m always excited over his sketches and pieces he’s making!!! And I’m always asking him a million questions about the process and all he does!! And on the same coin he’s always so fascinated with my research my main focus is on Pacific Archaeology so I always give him TedTalks™️ on everything he loves it!! I also intern at a museum so he’s always asking me questions about it. And a lot of what I’ve been lately at the museum is fashion history, so I love to tell him all about it!!

We compliment each other perfectly bc I’m very bubbly and outgoing!! So I’m very much a conversationalist and sometimes people think bc of that and my size that they can walk all over me. This is where Asahi’s natural intimation comes into play once mfs see him they KNOW not to fuck around. And on the other side, due to my extroverted nature I can easily jump into a conversation Asahi is actively trying to step away from without being rude. I feel like he gets quickly drained from strangers but I can talk to anyone for hours so I step him. This also is helpful bc I easily can make reservations and really any other scenario where he’s feeling too shy to directly say what he’s thinking/needs. I also am not afraid to fight for refunds and shit so he’s happy to let me take the wheel LOL

I just know we’d both get along with one another friends SO well😝 on that note Suga and I are so stoner buddies (you can’t tell me college suga didn’t smoke). Asahi would rarely smoke but when he does he just goes lol nonverbal and gets cuddly. Which honestly works good bc I just get happy and yap once again that perfect balance💗‼️

Most of our dates are just chill dates. We watch a LOT of TV together between anime and cooking shows and documentaries we just love a good lay in bed watching TV time. When we go out, it’s to museums and cafes!! We try and go to a cutey local coffee shop at least once a week just to get out. Sometimes it turns into homework dates or reading dates but mostly we just sit and talk and enjoy the fact there’s no rush. I currently have a coffee sticker book so he makes sure I always get a sticker when at new places🥺 I always switch up what I get but Asahi always gets a cappuccino and we usually split a lil pastry (usually I can talk him into buying multiple to try tho hehe)

I keep him updated on all the stupid TikTok drama bc I get disgustedly invested and that app can make me so mad so I go on RANTS about people being stupid it just always makes him laugh he thinks I’m just the most lovely thing all fired up even if it’s over something so unreal. I’m also OBSESSED with that Bistro Huddy tiktok series that is literally just one guy idk it’s SO good I make him watch it with me all the time LOL

Overall we are in love love🥰😝🥰

Hello again, im the same Anon as the Jhin post. Firstly I'm screaming that sketch is so cute!!! You got crazy talent. It brightened up my night!! Also don't be stressed about sending things asap, you got a personal life and I already know the zine will be something worth waiting for.

Secondly, I agree with a lot of what you said! It would be fascinating to see how Jhin would be written. He was an Ionian prisoner so I imagine he has some disdain for authority figures of that sort; law officials, officers, prison guards. A friend and I have rambled about it a lot, we sort of came to the idea that it would make sense for Jhin's targets in Piltover/Zaun to be Enforcers because of that association. He catches a glimpse of how the Enforcers treat Zaunites and is like "ah, a new art project". And Viktor, going through his divorce era and being corrupted by the Hexcore might be willing to tolerate Jhin's focus on Enforcers. Might, being the key word.

League Viktor frequently uses unethical methods to save lives. And if Jhin were to soley target Enforcers then Viktor may see that as saving people in Zaun. Through that, they may get along. Additionally, in League lore, Viktor is frequently perceived as a madman. I feel like Jhin would look beneath Viktor's surface, beneath the mask, and understand him and his chaos. He'd think Viktor and his complexities are a work of art.

I adore Viktor, I love his morals and his compassion. I am both so nervous and so excited for season 2, I don't want Viktor to become the Herald entirely 😅. Sorry for such a long reply also oh my days. Take care!! ❤️

You are so kind dear Anon T-T I'm very interested by your theory and I think it could work well with Viktor! I'm hoping he won't be too corrupted by the hexcore tho... The few things I like about Machine Herald is that he created himself completely and he strongly believe he is going to make humanity better (or something like that). His original lore was more evil and chaotic than is current league of legend lore so I've hope for Arcane universe haha! I like that each skin/universe can change a champion. I believe people who love Viktor before Arcane really want him to be a cool villain while people, like me, who discovered him thanks to Arcane want him to stay who he is in s1 haha! If Viktor get completely corrupted by the hexcore, it changes who machine herald is in my opinion. We will always wonder what would have happened if the hexcore wouldn't have infected his brain. But if he has to be a mad man, I think he will be well written. They did great with Jinx's personalty and I like that she doesn't want to change by the end of s1. She chosed and accepted who she is. I usuqlly dislike chqrqcter like Jinx but I liked her is Arcane. I'd love if Viktor find someone who loves him and accepts who he really is. Maybe Jhin could be that person and they'd have an interesting dynamic. Maybe they could both do their own things to make Zaun "better". I wonder Viktor's relationship with enforcers. We didn't see him around Caitlyn (only around Marcus) so maybe he dislike them or if he secretly despites them. I wonder if he was already a student in Piltover when Zaun tried their failed "coup d'etat/rebellion" on the bridge and what kind of repercussion he got. My sleep deprived mind went wild and I started imagining a nice trouple with Jayce, Jhin and Viktor. It would make no sense but I love Jayce with Viktor no matter what haha!

I agree I think the featured players and pdd are the group that’s going to usher in the next era for SNL.

As for breakouts I agree I think Marcello right now would be my front runner mainly because of his versatility, dudes had a great first season and I think he’s one of the better actors out of this new cast of stand ups. As shallow as it is he’s also got the looks to climb up in the entertainment industry and the gen z girlies are going crazy for him on tiktok so he’s my front runner for the next SNL heartthrob (still love you Longfellow and dismukes ❤️). Also will say I’ve noticed he’s been collaborating across alliance groups and has been making friends across cast, writers, and hosts (Ana de Armas invited him to the ghosted premier and even little things like him and Bowen being the only cast members Jenna Ortega follow). I truly think his networking skills are what’s gonna give him an edge (and dating starlets /j).

Can also see pdd getting into more interesting and prominent projects (I think they’re making a film right?) and all three boys have long careers ahead of them. Would not be surprised to see them at the Emmy’s in a couple of years for their own projects. Pdd will become gen z lonely island as in becoming a defining voice in a generations humour.

As for the rest I’m not sure, they definitely will all have great careers (it’s hard not to do with those SNL connections and recognition) but I’m not sure if they’ll all translate outside of standup/sketch comedy or even if they want to (e.g. Longfellow, JAJ, and Dismukes seem very content doing standup and might go a more Mulaney vs Hader route of that makes sense). Devon is a question mark for me I think he’s still findings his footing but he’s had some great moments recently (young spicy and his 2001 cccccccorolla) and I’m rooting for him. Hope he feels a bit more settled next season. Sarah is also kind of a wild card for me because I can clearly see the ambition but not sure which path she’ll pursue. I will say if I was her PR I’d be getting her on the fashion circuit ASAP, she’s got a very distinct look and I could see her becoming a fashion girlie in a much more distinct artistry way vs Chloe who is going for a more typical glamorous look but she’s competing with actresses and singers who are more A-list (example: Zendaya). She should be attending events like the Met (Sarah news at the Met would be iconic) and fashion week to get that publicity push if I was her team.

Also obviously Bowen’s gonna have a great career and is already making moves with being in Wicked and I have high hopes for Ego. I think if there’s someone who I’m truly hoping has a big career it’s Ego, girl is so talented it would literally be a crime if she isn’t leading bigger projects in a few years.

I don’t know if people are aware of this but pdd closed multiple project deals before they got on snl. I think they’re doing well on snl obviously but also the main reason they’re there is to expand their network. So it will be interesting to see them in their post-snl era. I claimed Herlihy as my son so I’ll be following.

As for the feature players + dismukes, it’s hard to tell. It’ll be all revealed in time lol. But I can tell Longfellow will pursue his stand-up career for sure. All I want for him on snl is to become the next weekend update anchor, he’s a very solid candidate, it’d be a mistake to continue with someone else other than him. Bowen is already a star and booking a lot of stuff, I think he might be heading out soon. Chloe on the other hand is an extremely good dramatic actress, I’m hoping for her to pull full Bill H*der and do something like Barry. But for right now, I wish she worked with other writers and was open to try new things. She could’ve been a star, alas…
