Hi there! First of all, thank you so much for taking the time to read these!!

You can call me Bibis, I’m 26 years old and roleplaying has been one of my hobbies for over ten years, I’ve been a part of the Bleach fandom for about that same amount of time too. However, I still haven’t finished reading the manga (I’m always working and when I finally have some free time I have no energy to do anything guys, help). But I’ll eventually finish it, I swear… Or I’ll at least watch the anime bc I’m super hyped about this revival. ANYWAYS, yes, this is just a heads up that I do know some things about the last arc of the manga but not everything. But don’t worry, depending on what we choose to write, I’ll do my reasearch!! <3

I work 44 hours a week (sometimes more) and I’m still finishing my university course, so my activity will be low, especially from monday to friday. Please understand that I might take a long time to reply – this doesn’t mean I’m not interested in writing with you / don’t like your character or anything, I’m really just super busy most of the time.

• i use garageband on my phone to write most of the time (sometimes bandlab or acoustic instruments, usually various pianos or organs)

• i use distrokid for platform distribution and i seriously recommend it it’s ridiculously easy and super cheap too

• my process is usually pretty linear, starting with a melodic idea and moving from start to finish with the song, then going back and buffing it out making it meatier and tweaking things as i see fit! then i’ll usually adjust the pitch/speed at the end simply bc the analog sound is a lot more pleasing garageband can get a little sterile after listening to it for so long :]

• writing a single song will usually take me anywhere from 2-6 hours depending on the complexity, spanning however many days (i have drafts that have been sitting in my phone for MONTHS bc i’ll often switch between them so none of them get too stale) -> however, some of my live songs work a little differently, seeing as a lot of them (especially on what never left the nebula) are actually almost completely improvised… you'll never guess which ones >:)

horror recs aaww yeahhh. mostly a peter cushing, christopher lee, and vincent price show bc i tend to fixate on them and their films a lot.

note: it kinda goes without saying that some of these have problematic elements and themes. i consume media critically, which should also kinda go without saying!!

HAMMER HORROR RECS

+ 'the curse of frankenstein' (1957) and just. the whole hammer frankenstein series, especially 'the revenge of frankenstein' and 'frankenstein created woman.' ('created woman' leans more heavily into the sci-fi aspects, but is more of a revenge slasher at heart.)

you can skip 'evil' and 'horror' (unless you're a completionist) bc they are the worst and aren't super important continuity wise ('horror' is totally outside of the main continuity bc it's a reboot!!)

+ 'horror of dracula' (1958) and 'the brides of dracula' (1960) are two of my fave films ever. they perfectly encapsulate that distinctly hammer-y gothic horror atmosphere, and are full of frills (pretty women) and thrills (scared silly men.)

most of the sequels are kinda meh BUT

'dracula ad 1972' (1972) is somewhat of a cult classic. it asks the vitally important questions 'what if dracula was fucking around in modern (aka 1972) london? and what if the writers absolutely detested hippies?' johnny alucard is a #bisexualking.

'satanic rites of dracula' (1973) isn't very good, but it is funny, and a somewhat direct sequel to 'ad 1972' so it's worth it imo.

and i wouldn't recommend any of the other sequels unless you're a completionist (like me,) but 'taste the blood of dracula' is pretty good.

+ 'the mummy' (1959) more gorgeous hammer decadence set and costume wise. christopher lee is insanely good in this, acting totally through his eyes and body language (which he also does a lot in some of the weaker dracula sequels when he refused to say lines he hated in the scripts lmao.)

+ 'the hound of the baskervilles' (1959) is a thriller take on a classic sherlock holmes story. not totally book accurate (hammer usually doesn't do super accurate adaptations,) but peter cushing is absolute fire as holmes. it's one of his career-best performances imo.

+ cash on demand (1961) is a christmas movie/pseudo-scrooge tale about a bank heist. it's more of a claustrophobic psychological thriller than a horror movie, but it has a bunch of strong performances and it really makes the most of itself. one of my personal top ten movies ever.

+ captain clegg (1962) is more of a swashbuckler/mystery than a horror film, but it's so much fun and a big 'comfort' movie of mine. i love pirates and parsons and smugglers ❤

+ 'the vampire lovers' (1970) evil canon lesbian/bi vampire ladies and pretty period fashion. it's part of the karnstein trilogy, and is probably the most accurate to the source material, 'carmilla.’

i do not recommend ‘lust for a vampire’ unless you are a completionist. it doesn’t even have peter cushing in it.

'twins of evil' (1971) is the final karnstein film and is a prequel. it might be the horniest and most gruesome tbh? but it's pretty good 👍

+ 'fear in the night' (1972) is a sneaky favorite of mine. psychological thriller that handles the topic of mental illness and its mentally ill characters pretty well, imo.

+ 'captain kronos - vampire hunter' (1974) do you like swashbuckling vampire hunters and fabulous twin nobles? then you'll like this one. 'kickass' and 'badass' are the main adjectives i'd use to describe it.

AMICUS RECS

(NOTE: amicus borrowed a lot of actors from hammer, so they are kinda similar vibe-wise on occasion.)

+ 'dr. terror's house of horrors' (1965) horror anthology with tarot card readings as its framing device, which is such a whipass concept.

+ 'the house that dripped blood' (1971) horror anthology about a cursed house or smth :) and while it is pretty good over all, i'm recommending this one mainly bc the 'waxworks' segment is one of the finest pieces of cinema i've ever seen.

+ 'tales from the crypt' (1972) horror anthology based on 'tales from the crypt' comics, and it has a couple of really good ones. great primer for getting into their anthologies.

+ 'madhouse' (1974) one of my lowkey favorite movies bc i love gay old horror actors hamming it up and having fun and making fun of themselves. and i love projecting onto herbert flay and paul toombes so much <333 #lovewins

OTHER RECS

+ 'frankenstein' (1931) and 'bride of frankenstein' (1935) if u haven't seen these two you have got to fr fr. 'bride' is a perfect score in my book and just. holy fuck. one of the most insane, profound, beautiful movies ever. stg. dr pretorius is everything 2 me <33 i ❤ heart gay old men.

+ the invisible man (1933) i get the feeling you've seen this one? but it's lots of fun :) claude rains is amazing as the titular invisible man. honestly i kinda prefer this movie to the book.

+ 'psycho' (1960) a classic, one of the og slashers. i'm assuming you're seen this one just bc it's so popular? but it really is That Good.

also 'psycho ii' is fucking amazing. i haven't seen any of the other sequels yet, but 'ii' is just. so so heartbreaking. a near perfect sequel that really dives into the aftermath of the events of the first film.

+ 'corruption' (1968) absolutely not the best but it starts strong and is just damn fascinating. about a dysfunctional couple tearing each other to shreds at its core.

+ 'the abominable dr. phibes' (1971) a revenge slasher kinda considered to be a precursor to 'saw?' idk lol. but it has some fucking epic kills. vincent price really delivers here emotionally as the title character and it drives me up the wall.

'dr. phibes rises again' (1972) is also pretty good. weaker kills imo but a stronger protagonist.

also while i don't think you Have To watch 'dr. phibes' first (i didn't,) 'madhouse' is kind of an homage to it.

+ 'the wicker man' (1973) folk horror/musical masterpiece about a devoutly religious cop investigating the disappearance of a young girl on an island inhabited by pagans. if you haven't seen this just know that it is a 10/10 must watch.

+ 'house of the long shadows' (1983) about an author who's dared to spend the night in a creepy house that was once owned by a super fucked up family. doesn't really kick into gear until all the old people start showing up, but it's fun.

+ fright night (1985) epic vampire movie pastiche B) peter vincent means the world to me fr. it makes me cry sometimes. the sequel is pretty good too!! but i wouldn't really recommend the 2011 remake.

Shipping isn't actually the main point of my RPs. My portrayal is heavily based on IDW/G1 and headcanons. I can adapt to other universes if asked to do so, but they will be headcanon based. Rodimus is portrayed as per my understanding of his character.

I have reading difficulties. This may get worse some days but most days it is nearly non-existent. No, this does not mean I have dyslexia, not that I know of, It just means I can misinterpret texts or straight up be unable to read or write texts for a few hours. If I write a response, and it makes 0 sense, sorry. My brain was acting funky and I tried to push forward. The text won’t make sense to me either.

Shipping is okay! But I will be selective. Rodimus will frankly flirt with anyone, and I'd like to state it now that it doesn't mean he is romantically interested. Sometimes thats just how he shows he cares.

OC, AUs, crossovers are free to interact!! Feel free, be not afraid, etc. This does not mean I will always respond but please don't take it personally. Sometimes I just have no idea what certain things are.

Please read my headcanons before interacting. Your character isn’t going to know certain quirks and bits about him, but if you’re going to pretend to be a part of his crew and like you know him at least read a few of the stuff that’s Lost Light-relevant.

*Maybe kind of ironically, the only muses I don't really do AUs for are the Kingdom Hearts muses, because like...kh is kinda already about crossovers. Most, but not all, of my Danny Pudi thirst goes here. The blog is primarily ran through a queue of any and all pictures/gifs/videos of Danny I can find.

I found Danny via the magical chaos of Ducktales cast interviews in early 2021 and fell for him fast and hard and watched the rest of his projects from there. omg now you got me thinking of a harringrove romeo-juliet-esque au where they’re the offsprings of two feuding neighboring wine-making families, one of them italian and the other french. they spend their time sabotaging each other and insulting the enemy wines until wink wink they finally get a taste of each other’s wine and a decades-long feud suddenly and very homoerotically gets resolved

i’m a sucker for billy being tied to the concept absolution / washed clean. and the idea of him, all day under a cleansing sun. oh MAN. and it works so perfectly in the context of this au bc boy’s running from his past. but under the scorching august sun, closing his eyes and forgetting the weight he’s carrying is the simplest thing. nobody cares about who he is and what he’s done. he can just. exist

hiya, i saw the prompt list and I don't know if you wanted only romantic pairs (feel free to disregard this ask if it's only romantic), but I thought the last one, about making excuses to bail each other out would be interesting for young klavier and kristoph. the prompt felt really sibling-y to me :Dd think its fun to think about what it mustve been like for them growing up haha

Hmm, I mean, I had been thinking specifically romantic stuff when I reblogged it, but I’m certainly not against writing a platonic pairing! So, uh, sure!

For a few moments, all Kristoph could do was blink down at the phone in his hands. It was a simple text, all things considered.

Klavier

“...What is this…?” he muttered to himself, all too aware of exactly what he was looking at. He pushed up his glasses for a moment, rubbing at his face with a disconcerted groan. Didn’t Klavier know he was busy? He had more important things to be doing. It certainly wasn’t his job to babysit the boy twenty-four hours a day.

It was a quiet evening. Late. Too late to be studying for the bar, perhaps, but Kristoph was nothing if not a perfectionist. Best to get started early to absorb the information. Not everyone could regurgitate every fact they’d ever learned on their first try like some snotty little brats Kristoph knew.

Speaking of…

The phone buzzed in his hands. Another string of hieroglyphics for him to interpret. Kristoph’s eyes drifted over the lot of them, debating simply turning the phone off or shattering it against the wall. Finally, he sighed, and placed the call, fingers tapping on the table irritably.

It took a few rings for anything to happen. And then—

“H-Hey bro! How’s it going?”

Klavier’s high-pitched pubescent voice crackled through the phone over the distant, muffled sounds of base-y music. He sounded nervous. Or relieved, Or both?

“I regret to inform you that our family cat has died in a terrible boating accident,” Kristoph deadpanned. “You are needed at home immediately.”

They did not own a cat. They never would own a cat. Kristoph would die before they ever owned a cat.

“Whaaaaat? Nooooooooo. Not Herr Katze!” Klavier cried, far too exaggerated to pass as any sort of genuine distress. He could almost picture the back of Klavier's hand pressed to his forehead in a pseudo-faint. “Oh no, I should…leave this study session of mine right now.”

Kristoph couldn’t help but roll his eyes. “Ah, yes, your 'study session,'” he repeated, being sure to pour all his vitriol into his air quotes.

“Ja, that’s right. My…study session,” he said.

Kristoph tsked under his breath. “You understand that you are a big fish in a small pond, right, Klavier?” he asked, foot tapping on the floor. “Just because you skipped several grades doesn’t mean you have to try to impress the riff raff around you—”

“Ach, you’re breaking up!” Klavier interrupted quickly, making a few static noises with his mouth. “Well I better rush home to check on poor Mutti, she must be so heartbroken over poor Herr Katze.”

“Hmm,” Kristoph agreed. “Yes, I’m sure she will be very grateful, and owe her wonderful son quite the favor in the future, wouldn’t you say—?”

“Ja, ja, whatever you say, Kris.” He could almost picture the cheeky smile, braces and all, grinning back at him. “I’ll talk to you later. Danke!”

“Bitte,” Kristoph muttered back, hanging up before Klavier could say another word.

He scowled at the phone, pinching the bridge of his nose. Well, there went all of Kristoph’s concentration for the evening. Nothing left but to try to get a decent night’s sleep before class tomorrow.

As he pushed away from his desk to stand up, his phone vibrated once more. He paused, glancing down at the phone still on his desk.

Kristoph raised an eyebrow, before sighing, shaking his head with a bemused smirk, and finally shutting off his phone.

I love to ship. Platonic and familial is great and all but I’m a little bit of a romantic and I don’t get to express that side of my irl, so I use my writing to line vicariously through some things through my darlings.

Despite this, I am not my muse. Their thoughts and actions are not mine, etc. This is purely an exercise in self-indulgence and exploration.

I don’t like to insta-ship but I do encourage being upfront about thinking about shipping. It’s all about the chemistry, but having an endgame or a thought towards it isn’t a bad thing.

It’s on you to curate your own safe space. Hard and soft block as you see fit—but if you soft block without letting me know, please be understanding that I might not realize it and still reblog from or message you. Being straightforward is the harder path, but also the more rewarding.
