It’s time this post gets a Silm version.
Which Silmarillion characters say Fuck:
Feanor: Invented ‘fuck’ and always critiques peoples’ use of it (If you don’t use it to make seven children you’ve done something wrong).
Nerdanel: Has two sides. One doesn’t know any swears and the other… you don’t want to meet her.
Maedhros: Swears to make his brothers feel guilty about the fact that they’ve made him swear.
Maglor: If he swears at you you’re probably about to die.
Celegorm: ‘Fuck’ appears to be the only word in his vocabulary.
Curufin: claims he doesn’t swear. For safety’s sake we shall leave it at that.
Caranthir: swears lazily. Nerdanel tells him off more often than Celegorm.
Ambarussar: only swear ironically.
Fingon: swears as a compliment.
Turgon: swears when he’s upset. Even people who witness it aren’t quite sure they haven’t imagined it.
Aredhel: swears purposely to annoy her mother. Has a surprisingly clean mouth alone.
Argon: mostly uses the strange colloquial insults of the youth instead.
Finrod: No.
Angrod: likes to emphasise his points with unexpected ‘fuck’s.
Aegnor: swears quietly. More often than you’d think.
Galadriel: will smile dazzlingly, look you in the eye, and call you a spineless fucker (you are feanor).
Luthien: she thinks it’s a hilarious mannish word and only uses it for fun.
Beren: was so embarrassed when Luthien heard him swear for the first time.
Turin: even if he doesn’t say ‘fuck’, most of his discourse gives that impression.
Beleg: feels horribly ashamed whenever he lets one slip.
Mablung: can swear with alarming force when his temper gets the better of him.
Elwing: Her ‘fuck’ has the potential to kill.
Eärendil: Is the reason why the first thing the twins said to M&M was ‘Fuck, it’s you.’
#I know I didn’t do everyone but there are. A lot of people in that book.#Anyway#feel free to critique#Silm#silm shitpost#silmarillion#silm headcanons

Lawson + Abigail Headcanons
TW for Death, Bereavement, Violence, and themes of PTSD
Met each other when Lawson was still a law student. They were introduced to one another by a mutual friend (Walter Cumberbatch), and Justin, back then, was a good conversationalist. Abigail liked listening to him talk, and in turn, she remembers every little detail he mentions.
Yapper + Listener. Except Abigail likes sending him things that Justin talked about ONCE. It could be a very specific book that he wanted to read, and she managed to get her hands on it so that she could give it to him as a present. A brooch that he could pin to his tie, or flowers that are always displayed in a vase by Justin's desk.
They see very little of one another whenever he's busy. This does little to deter Justin from sending Abigail lengthy letters, detailing what he does in a week. These letters always ask first of her well-being, then gradually goes from being general about his days at the courthouse, to being specific about what actually happens. His side-comments amuse Abigail to no end.
Abigail responds to his letters by doodling or drawing the things he describes, or caricatures just to tease Justin. These never fail to include a small Justin at the bottom of the front page, or a portraiture of him that she managed to sketch from memory.
Their honeymoon was supposed to be in Switzerland. When they were engaged, he took her to the country to celebrate their union.
Abigail puts flowers in his hair for no reason. He mumbles something about decorum, but the flower shall be kept and pressed in the pocket watch he keeps with him.
She's one of the few people who actually knows his birthday (the other two are Arthur, and Walter). Justin is not one to fuss about his birthday, yet he always comes home to Abigail having prepared a small surprise for him.
He's always alert, tense, in his element. Justin was surprised that he could find himself at ease whenever he took his place by her side, or whenever Abigail took his hands in hers. Always a serious man, but one smile from her is enough to lighten his mood.
Justin tells her everything. He keeps himself closely guarded, even then, and was not fond of divulging details of his personal life to his peers or those he even considers as friends. Yet Abigail was the one exception, and was probably the last person he poured his heart out to.
After her murder, Justin was not able to bear anything that is connected to Abigail's memory. Her pictures, the letters they sent to one another, the last flowers she gave him, even the color blue (including his own eyes, prompting him to avoid mirrors too), were objects he couldn't look at for a long time. Eventually, he chose some things that belonged to her to keep, only to store them away in a box that he'd never open.
After Slayer's End, Justin couldn't cope well when Abigail's murder was brought up again. Four years he kept himself in work, serving the city, avoiding the incident, and he made up his mind that it shall stay that way. The letters he stored away were burnt after the case concluded, then returned her belongings to Abigail's parents, and he destroyed the obituary he always kept in his wallet.
One would always question why Justin kept that obituary instead of a small portrait in her wallet. The snippet reminded him of her death more than anything. He believed that he could bring justice to her name, when he himself started to forget what Abigail looked like.
Justin saw Abigail every time he had to sentence a killer, showing that those innocent had suffered the same fate as her, which planted a fear in him while he was a city judge that he cannot stop such injustices from happening, no matter what he did. His perspective on such turned even more complicated when he had to sentence Timmy in Burning Bridges.
After the events of MoTP, Lawson's body was moved to a remote area, far from the city. A quiet tomb that was isolated from the cemetery of Concordia, on a lonely hill. Coincidentally, from the view of his tomb, one would be able to realize that Abigail's own grave wasn't that far.

My personal rankings on Black Butler characters. I may have left minor ones out/ones that didn't leave much of an impression on me. I have not gotten past the Public School Arc (yet), so I can't properly place characters who appear afterwards.

You catch yourself a guy and bring him to what will soon be his new home for a while.
You tell him that he's actually a girl and that you'll make sure she accepts her new self. It starts with you giving her some treats whenever she calls herself by her proper pronouns.
Soon she'll probably also complain that her clothes she wore when you first picked her up are starting to smell. You of course give her some panties and a cute dress. She might complain at first, but it's not like she has much of a choice here.
You tell her how pretty she is and catch her blushing, even if she doesn't wanna admit it.
After some more pampering, dressing up, complimenting and showing her how pretty she's become, the memory of him has completely faded. She's now just a pretty and adorable girl, and loves you for showing her!

My trolls oc!!!!!!!!!
Basil is a nature/plant and pop troll, he often spends his time in his garden taking care of his many plants, when he's not in his garden he's in his pod or at the library reading about troll history.
Basil has always had an interest in the history of the troll species and he considers himself very smart and thinks he knows a great deal about history.
Basil is a bit shy and quiet when you first meet him, although he will warm up quickly he is very sensitive and prefers to keep to himself.
Although Basil can be a bit arrogant and begins to brag about his knowledge, he doesn't usually intend on it, as he is often in a world of his own.

more potential backstory for my tav, feel free to leave feedback
I've always wanted to delve more into mental illness with my writing, but I've always worried about coming off as "scary and unhinged," or by giving characters who I consider otherwise "morally good" traits like insecurity/clinginess and jealousy
I sort of see her and astarion's relationship as two people who saw each other as perfect when they first met (her in an adoring "you're so good at everything I wish I could be good at" way and him in a "ugh, you're an obnoxious little goody two-shoes" way) and then growing closer as they realized more and more that they're both just imperfect people and actually have a lot in common despite being very morally different kind of a "we're not so different, you and I" thing, but in an affectionate, sincere way

Tumblr help me
I have a full graphic novel sketched out in my head (where of course it is perfect and complete) and I'm trying to capture it in actual media so other people can see it.
The problem is, I can't settle on which medium to use. I need to commit so I can stop dithering and get on with it. Your opinions please ... ? Line and wash, or digital?

This post is, I think, intellectually and historically flawed. It assigns a whole host of attributes (transphobia, sex-negativity, anti-sex worker sentiment, biphobia, intersexism, etc) to "radical feminism" in a manner which ignores the history of feminism. Many of these ideas were part and parcel of "mainstream feminism" for decades, not part of the "radical fringe".
To seperate this vague "radical feminism" from groups like say, the Combahee River Collective (essential in creating our modern notions of identity politics and intersectionality) is frankly asinine and nonsensical. In their statement the Collective argues that (emphasis mine):
"Our situation as Black people necessitates that we have solidarity around the fact of race, which white women of course do not need to have with white men, unless it is their negative solidarity as racial oppressors. We struggle together with Black men against racism, while we also struggle with Black men about sexism."
So much for an essential alliance with men! These groups and thinkers emerged from the same zeitgeist as the wrong-headed Separatists, and to pretend Lesbian Feminism was not "radical feminism" would border on the absurdist. We do ourselves a grave intellectual disservice by pretending that "radical feminism" is inherently a vile and toxic thing.
Feminism, like any movement against oppression, is in constant conversation with itself. What was once radical may become mainstream and vice versa. There is no shame in admitting that Angela Davis was once classed as a "radical feminist", or that our ideas may bear a "radical feminist" label when presented to others.
*grabbing young queer people by the shoulders* listen to me. radical feminism is inherently transphobic. you cannot rehabilitate it or reclaim it or make it trans inclusive, I don't care what the people on twitter who claim to be authorities on queerness say. the foundation of radical feminism is nothing but bio and gender essentialism and biphobia and aphobia and anti-kink rhetoric and intersexism and yes, misogyny. it does not offer a future, not for bi people, aroace people, sex workers, not for kinksters, or intersex people, cis women, or trans people regardless of gender and you should care about those people. it will never result in queer liberation because it is an ideology of exclusion and hatred. you gain nothing by buying into the idea that half the population is evil by birth or by transition. you gain nothing by acting like women are perpetual victims who can't think for themselves and are tainted by their association with men. being a man or being attracted to them is not a sin. if we truly want to stand a chance of dismantling the patriarchy we actually NEED men on our side especially marginalized men. they are our allies.
the problem with terfs is not just transphobia, it never was, the radical feminism is also so unbelievably harmful. you cannot save it and it will not save you, stop drawing lines between queer people and join hands with them instead. remove people who are actually harmful, not innocent people who happen to have the wrong sexuality or gender or job. we get there together or we don't get there at all. we need each other now more than ever. do not listen to those who seek to divide us even if they are queer. we all deserve so much better than the hell radical feminism pretends is a liberated future.
I do not blame anyone who fell prey to this rhetoric, I know it feels good to have a common enemy and lash out at those you think are siding with them however they do it, but men, especially marginalized men, are not your enemies. and it's never too late to realize that and change for the better.

it’s time…
Harry Potter.
oh, and tomarry addendum: I really wish there was a time travel fic where there wasn’t like a Tom “redemption.” I think Tom has a 50% chance of slowly corrupting Harry and turning him alt-right, if he really wanted to— imho books show that Harry is pretty ambivalent about social issues unless they involve his friends, like hagrid
"he would not fucking say that" but its about a character being a leftist. he would not fucking believe that
