Feels for Thought.
The mind can be so convincing at times that it makes it hard to make a decision. Before you have the chance to really think about how something made you feel and why, the subconscious mind seems to make that decision for you. In other words, it can determine initial reactions. Sometimes I feel too optimistic. Sometimes I think others aren’t optimistic enough. Sometimes it makes me insecure. Realistically, it feels like I think too much. I find it interesting how we can spiral down a negative thought tunnel so quickly, and not even realize the steps that got us there. Somehow, the feeling of being “fed-up” starts feeling normal, until you recognize you aren’t you again. You don’t know what happen or how you got that way to begin with, so you start digging for answers. As you try to remember the last time something went exceptionally well for you, you end up thinking up all of the reasons why things haven’t happened yet. It can be easy to convince yourself that you’re the reason you haven’t reached your goals, and any other reason feels like an excuse. It’s a very personal and invisible process that one needs to be mindful to. Analyze your mood throughout each day, and designate time to put yourself in the mood you desire to be in. Say it out loud to someone, yourself, or social media. Feed back will assure you the mood you desire to be in is good for you, acting as reinforcement. The process can go both ways. The power to stay motivated and dedicated to yourself can be hard to find at times when the negative weighs in heavy. At that time is when you equate the good with the bad in the best way you can. Stay as focused, and as rational as possible to see it through. Give yourself time. Realize every day is a new day, and every moment is a gift. Give yourself the gift of new opportunity. You’ll be amazed at what you forgot you knew.

Thought-provoking question #41
From a Christian standpoint, all other gods except the God of Abraham are said to be false. Does this mean they are not real? Or does this mean they are real, yet not as well-intentioned as the God of Abraham? (Disclaimer: I am a Christian, but I am also a very philosophical person who is full of questions.)

If the earth were to lose gravity, would we all fall off right away, or would we casually float off? Would it depend on mass/weight?

Thought-provoking question #34
What does the term “art” encompass? Is it confined to things such as music, painting, sculpting, designing, and the like? Or can it be spread out to include other things not commonly thought of as art?

Thought-provoking question #23
Why do people always focus on the handful of stupid/irresponsible things you have done when there is an overwhelming amount of good/responsible things you have done? Why, when you have proven yourself very responsible time and again, do they still want to nag about the few stupid things you've done as if you couldn't be more irresponsible? Is it human nature, or is it just the way those people are?
