I am woefully behind in my fic reads, but just had the lightning bolt realization that you wrote Six Poems which I read ages ago, and which is the first modern AU Benophie fic I ever loved. It was so engaging, touching, creative and overall beautiful 💙 Just had to let you know.

I will start with this is not a request, I'm just curious about your opinion on this. Have you ever tried or wished to write about a soulmate au thing? With either of the brothers, has that ever crossed your mind? Or has it never been your type of thing to write about?

Ps. I have finally read all of Benedict masterlist. I love your portrayal of him and your writing.

No worries, i understand it’s not a request. I always welcome asks like this. 🫶

So, it has never occurred to me to write a soulmates AU. It’s not a trope i particularly enjoy tbh. I don’t mind a couple that’s destined to be together etc, but this whole markings, shares senses stuff is not my jam - it’s too fantasy-based for me. I prefer to write stories more grounded in a sense of realism, be it Regency or any other time period.

I never say never, but it’s unlikely I’d tackle this trope, if a request came through for it. Mostly cos I don’t think I’d be any good at writing it. I hope that doesn’t disappoint
