My older nephew mentioned that he really liked the animal bones that were for sale when he joined his little brother to go Secret Santa shopping for me last year at a metaphysical store. (The little nephew picked out an onyx chalice, a green calcite heart, and a malachite necklace for me and I treasure them all! 🥰) Even though I'm not his Secret Santa, I still headed to @whitebuffalori in the old neighborhood, after the Solstice service at Bell St Chapel on Sunday, and picked out a little something cool for him. 😊 That store is a TREASURE I tell you! Look at this display of, just, everything 😍 I was like "one thing for someone else, & oh look at that, 2 things for me" 🤭 Isn't that so often the way when holiday shopping? Started Christmas with a cousins Christmas lunch on the Hill at Massimo🇮🇹

Linguine alle Vongole - Local Little Neck Clams, Garlic, EVOO, Parsley

Celebrating the Feast of the Seven Fishes with Linguine alle Vongole.

“The Feast of the Seven Fishes is part of the Italian-American Christmas Eve celebration, although it is not called that in Italy and is not a "feast" in the sense of "holiday," but rather a grand meal.Christmas Eve is a vigil or fasting day, and the abundance of seafood reflects the observance of abstinence from meat until the feast of Christmas Day itself.”

I understand why this restaurant was voted Best in Rhode Island! The food was incredible. The clams were nice and fresh and tasted so light with the oil and garlic sauce! The linguine was a nice addition to the clams. One of my favorite seafood dishes and this restaurant really does it justice!

All of our food was delicious and we were all very happy with our meals! It was a perfect way to start Christmas and we had wonderful family time 💕

Based on presentation and taste of the Massimo Linguine alle Vongole I would rate this dish a 10 out of 10.
