✖ How has Tumblr RP changed since you started? ( ft. @fechmistrz asking the same! )

     oh boy, where do i begin! so, since i started, way way back in the 1980s 2010, we weren’t using like. ICONS. oh no. i’m talking gifs, babey. i was in the marvel fandom back then, writing an oc, and i couldn’t tell you what the hell were popular trends really; i remember people who used a lot of what i might call flowery, if not “purple” prose, although i’ve grown to not care for that phrase-- a lot of wording that honestly tended to read as if it had been pulled from a thesaurus and was sometimes REALLY hard for me to figure out what the hell they were trying to say.

     i feel like over the years, aesthetic has come to be heavily valued, but unfortunately at the cost of accessibility in a lot of cases; things that may look nice aesthetically can be REALLY hard to actually see, whether it’s themes or text or even icons. 

i think autoplay on blogs had a huge hayday, but it’s definitely gone out of style compared to how big it used to be.

overall, i think one of the biggest changes i’ve noticed, at least from the perspective of someone who regularly writes ocs, i feel like over time rp has become a lot more welcoming to ocs in general compared to how they used to be, and i think that’s a big deal worth celebrating! obviously, it’s by no means perfect, and unfortunately there are still instances of ocs getting hate, but i think all things considered, things are a far cry from how they used to be.

If you could tell your muse one thing, what would you tell them?

  Stop being such an asshole. 

Do you genuinely want your muse to be happy? What do you think would make them most happy in life? (also asked by @znachorkaa)

  I don't project my emotions onto Ivakir, so I do not set goals for her to be happy or joyful. I see her as laboratory mouse. I believe that everyone deserves to be happy, but some find it difficult to be happy, and Ivakir is one of them. I put her character, the circumstances of how she grew up, in the first place, it is these criteria that indicate that it will be difficult for her to achieve happiness. Does she deserve it? I think yes. But do I want this? Perhaps I will answer this way - if I put her happiness, her happy ending above my goal to describe different life situations, which include not only happiness, then I would simply stop writing.

What aspect of your muse’s personality is most important to you? What aspect of your muse’s personality do you think is most important to them? Is it the same? Why or why not?

  It is important for me to show that Ivakir is independent and that this independence has two sides - both good and bad, which can lead to social isolation. It's not that Ivakir isolates herself from society, but rather, because of her character and goals, it is difficult for her to get along with people and have deep relationships with them (not with everyone, of course).

  For Ivakir it is also independence, but she does not see it in the way I see it. For independence - this is not to depend on anyone, including someone's views.

I followed and follow you on all my accounts because you took one of the best characters in the saga and made her your own. You gave her depth, interesting development and headcanons, and you write her beautifully. We’ve yet to write one day, and I have a bunch of muses to throw your way. I’m so excited! Also, you’re such a sweet and kind person with visible adoration for your muse, and I think that’s one of many reasons why I stayed. 💕

this is so humbling! tissaia truly is the muse of my soul so to know that others get to enjoy her thanks to me is the greatest accomplishment and the best compliment i can ever receive! i never tire to write her and about her, to reread the books excerpts where she appears (or is mentioned) and to delve deeper and deeper into this fascinating character. thank you so much ♥ and yes, please, throw any and all of your muses at me! and thank you for taking the time to send these lovely and kind words - they do give me some confidence which is always not only much appreciated but very much needed.

1. Keira is able roll the lateral edges of her tongue upwards into a tube. She can also twist her tongue into cloverleaf shape. Why did I think about that? Because I literally looked up research articles about it because I wanted to know more. 

2. Her hair maybe be dishevelled and end of her dress dirty, but her nails cannot. She really (extremely) cares for them and they are always finely manicured, cuticles tended, hand cream applied. It comes from the fact that even when doing healing, she works with her hands and they kind of grew to be her ‘advertisement’.

Let me tell you that I’ve read this a bunch of times and I just keep tearing up and I just ;-; Mila you’re too good for this world and I can’t tell you how happy it makes me that we did start talking.
