Ok I want to talk about the Featherington family.

They are obviously introduced to be the opposite of the Bridgerton family but that changes so much over this season and I love it.

I already loved Portia because she lives her entire life to make her girls’ lives better (it’s not her fault that her internalised misogyny occasionally leads them astray). But the way she forgives Penelope and comes to her aid this season 😭😭

ALSO her sisters, previously described as the dumbest and meanest people Penelope knows, the way they evolve this season is amazing.

I was so worried when Penelope was revealed as Lady Whistledown at their ball they would be upset she overshadowed them, but instead Phillipa sets the bugs free as a distraction (or celebration, I’m not too sure - either way it’s perfect). And then Prudence tells Phillipa how smart that was. AHH my heart.

They are proud of their sister. Something the show writers never would have let them be in previous season and I’m so here for it.

The Featherington family have been through enough torment over the last three seasons, hopefully next season they give them a bit of a break
