Can we appreciate how Umineko technically has two overarching antagonists, and two main antagonists that serve as scapegoats in some form?

Like Featherine, and Bernkastel are the antagonists on the Witch side of things, causing a fair share of harm or fully endorsing said harm to avoid boredom. Hell, Bern was made the way that she is BECAUSE of Featherine, so if anything Bern just learned what she did from a far bigger monster. It's just that said monster retired, while her kitty is still up and about choosing to be the most actively malevolent force in the entire novel, and the face of literal depression because she finds it fun.

Meanwhile Kinzo Ushiromiya, and "Beatrice" are the IRL antagonists. Kinzo is the master of Rokkenjima and half the reason why Umineko even happens due to the abuse of his children, his obsession with wanting to bring back his deceased love Bice, the stolen Nazi gold he has, his desire to "atone" at the cost of others, and the influence he has even in death. This isn't even bringing up his incest baby, Sayo Yasuda, who was thrown off a cliff as a baby and assumed dead by Kinzo, was taken in by Genji Roneue, became one of the Ushiromiya family's servants, and later grew up to become the third "Beatrice," the Golden Witch who had a million plans to murder the family, and only succeeded in setting up the tools for the real mass murderers. Yet despite that, much like Kinzo, long after her demise in the real world the consequences of Sayo's actions lingered, and they affected 3 survivors, Battler Ushiromiya, Eva Ushiromiya (who is another scapegoat for Rokkenjima), and Ange Ushiromiya. Ultimately while Sayo set up the right tools for the Rokkenjima Incident, she's just as much of a victim as everyone else who died on that island. Kinzo on the other hand undeniably caused all of this shit!

Two different overarching & main antagonists on two different fronts. It's honestly impressive how well the story balances them out.

UMINEKO: THE SHRINE MAIDEN OF PURGATORY

The second I heard the story call Ange a "miko" I wanted to do something like this, cos I know another miko, and that's my friend Reimu from Touhou! I also fit Featherine into Yukari's role cos it just made sense to me. She doesn't have her halo here but don't worry about it, her memories are fine.

I would have liked to draw the two in Reimu's old Touhou 1 outfit and Yukari's Touhou 7 outfit but sadly I didn't have a lot of time this week; I just finished this like, two minutes before stream, and there are still some mistakes in it. I might try and come back and draw that later though! Watch out!

I read ahead this time and am watching this with Headless/Arahabaki, looking forward to the total BS this week.
