Hola Vani, nunca he utilizado este medio para desahogarme, ya que hemos charlado algunas veces por privado.

Nunca había sentido algo así, ya que suelo relacionarme con personas relativamente sanas, o con la madurez suficiente para saber tratar las cosas.

Hola! Primero que nada lamento contestarte ahora, anoche y hoy tuve una migraña muy fea por el calor. El temor es normal siempre que hay incertidumbre, una parte de nosotros sabe que lo desconocido puede ser impactante y la ansiedad puede paralizarnos.

Son embargo, las cosas como dices están fuera de tu control, ¿Qué es lo que sí puedes controlar? La manera en que procesas la situación. Aún no sucede, pero los pensamientos catastróficos están ahí. Respira profundo, trata de distraerte. Haz una lista de actividades que te proporcionen comfort, toma algunos tecitos relajantes o date un baño. Sé que puede parecer poco pero se trata de mantener tu bienestar. Las cosas aún no salen mal, entonces no hay por qué temer. En el momento que estés lista(o?) Para recibir las noticias, intenta tomarlas con calma. Elabora un plan A, B, C y los que necesites y recuerda que aunque así no lo parezca, todo tiene solución.

What could the MC do with fea magic?

Quite a few things!

The MC's most mentioned skill is their intuition, which just means their gut feeling is more prominent and accurate than that of a normal human. There's a dash of premonition in there as well, comes with the territory lol.

They can also wield magic, in the sense that magic works for their species. It's no portals or illusions per se, but more like making reactions where there could already be some. For example; making plants grow or die, agitate the air to combust, manipulate water, freeze things, thaw things, conduct electricity, controlling winds - reactions and natural phenomena that could happen anyway, but with the help of a bit of magic. Most fae are classified as nature spirits to begin with, so I'm focusing the MCs powers that way 💜

The most special skill the fae magic brings is the ability to see the Veil. While other species can sense it, they can't exactly touch it or redirect it in any capacity, they just trust it to work as it has always done. This will be pretty important once, uh, *squints at notes* everything goes to hell.

Buuuuut... Fae (and other beings attuned to magic) are heavily discouraged from using it in public unless it's absolutely, positively necessary. In worst cases it could even result in expulsion from the city.

Verano, agua y gatos

En el barrio Magnolia había dos grupos de niños que se habían convertido en enemigos. Nadie supo jamás cómo es que se habían conformado los grupos o cómo había nacido la enemistad entre ellos. Todo lo que sabían era que Izuku y Katsuki se habían declarado la guerra y habían arrastrado a sus respectivos amigos en dicho conflicto. Lo curioso era que el matrimonio Midoriya, padres de Izuku, se llevaba muy bien con el matrimonio Bakugo, padres de Katsuki.

Todos los veranos se formaban batallas de bombitas agua entre los dos bandos. La batalla culminaba con las calles mojadas y llenas de gomitas de colores y los niños empapados, con las respiraciones agitadas y las pieles coloradas por haber recibido tantos golpes. Era una lucha eterna que no tenía ganador ni perdedor.

Cierto día un niño llamado Hitoshi se mudó a la casa contigua a la de Denki, pero Izuku hizo su movimiento más rápido. De esa manera y sin pedir permiso, Hitoshi fue incluido al grupo de Izuku y por lo tanto se convirtió en enemigo para todo el grupo de Katsuki.

Dado que Denki y Hitoshi eran vecinos, sus enfrentamientos eran más frecuentes comparados con los de los otros niños.

Era una tarde de sábado cuando los dos se encontraron en la plaza del barrio. Denki estaba a punto de decirle que su remera era muy fea cuando escuchó a un gatito llorar. Hitoshi y él corrieron al lugar de donde provenía el sonido. Encontraron una caja con dos gatos bebés que no dudaron en bufar al verlos.

Sin perder tiempo le contaron sobre su hallazgo a sus madres. Luego de gritar y rogar un rato acordaron llevarse un gatito cada uno, claro que también pelearon un poco porque los dos niños querían llevarse a los dos felinos. Sin embargo, cuando Silvia, la madre de Denki, mencionó que al ser vecinos los gatos podrían verse todos los días, los niños se calmaron. Incluso parecía que su enemistad había desaparecido como por arte de magia porque se sentaron en el suelo uno al lado del otro y comenzaron a pensar nombres para sus nuevas mascotas.

Al día siguiente, cuando Denki se encontró con sus amigos les dijo que ya no podían pelear con el grupo de Izuku porque él y Hitoshi habían rescatado dos gatitos y que se habían convertido en amigos.

Mina opinó que ella tampoco quería pelear porque Shoto era muy bonito. Hanta también expresó su opinión diciendo que Izuku era muy lindo y amable. Kyoka asintió con efusividad. Eijiro confesó que Tsuyu y Ochako lo habían ayudado cuando se cayó en la vereda de su casa y se raspó la rodilla. Katsuki se sintió traicionado, pero luego de patalear un rato terminó aceptando terminar la guerra.

Ese día se firmó la paz y celebraron comiendo galletas caseras, que había preparado el padre de Tenya, con leche chocolatada en la casa de Izuku.

Hitoshi y Denki estaban muy contentos por haber promovido la paz entre sus grupos de amigos.

I love the look of your sims so much but since I got the sims 3 very recently, I am not sure how I can make my sims look that way. I downloaded cc makeup, skin replacements, hairstyles, clothing, accessories but whenever I look at the sims of other people from tumblr, it seems like they resemble real people sometimes, they are so well made, so fashionable. I do not know how to achieve that in my game and it is one of my favourite parts, making sims that look like the characters from my stories and OCs from other games, myself or my family. Can you give me some advice?

First of all, thank you so much for the compliment!

It is so much appreciated these days, I don't even have the words to express it properly. 💜💜💜

Now, for advice, I'm not sure how helpful I can be...

CC skins and makeup are definitely a good start, but I think the key is actually also to use a slider expansion, so you can have a wider range for the sliders. I'm using CMAR's core mod with a 3x facial slider range expansion. You can find the mod >>here<<

It has a bunch of nice features that are useful for all sort of things, actually, though I think most of it is included in or can be added to NRAAS' Master Controller, which is an overall very useful tool for Sims 3 and is recommended all around anyway. See >>here<<

If you're not familiar with it yet, it can be a bit confusing to fgure out, which add-on features you need and also go through all the possible settings in game after installation, but it's definitely worth it to take the ime and sort through it.

In addition to a slider range expansion, I also use custom sliders for both face and body, such as AWT's sliders >>here<<, and Jonha's sliders >>here<<, as well as @oneeuromutt's sliders >>here<<

However, with custom sliders, you have to also expand the total amount of sliders the game can read, otherwise you install the sliders and the game won't recognize them.

Depending on which one you use, in CMAR's tuning mod, you can edit the tuning file in s3pe or, -and I think this is probably easier- in NRAAS' Master Controller, you can change that number in the settings in game. Either version, I would suggest to put the slider value to 1000.

Pro's and Con's: NRAAS' settings have to be redone everytime you start a new game in a new neighbourhood, but as far as I'm concerned you can export and import your settings, so you don't have to do it all manually everytime. And with Master Controller you have all in one place and change your settings as needed in game.

With CMAR you edit the CC file directly, so it will always automatically apply, but you need s3pe installed, and a vague idea what your doing when you fumble around in the file.

The rest, I'm afraid, is practice.

We all started somewhere.

Some things that helped me, was to download other people's sims that I liked, just to look at them in CAS and see what they were doing differently than I do. It can help to play around with their features to get them to look closer to your own aesthetics, but without falling into your usual patterns. That just forced me to leave my comfort zone every now and then and actually liking things that I would have otherwise never considered doing. Try smaller eyes, if you tend to do big eyes; try wider noses if you tend to do slim noses; try dropping outer eye corners, if you tend to do almond shape eyes; thinner lips if you tend to do plump lips, etc. and vice versa - just do anything different every now and then, that breaks your patterns.

Also: nosemasks, nosemasks, nosemasks - a refined, more detailed looking nose can make all the difference, seriously.

I like me some @kurasoberina >>here<< or @brntwaffle >>here<< for example, but there are so many good creators out there who have some good ones (a google image search for "sims 3 nosemask" is always a good start)

Another essential in my opinion, is another feature of Master Controller is to unlock multiple layers in each makeup category, because nothing sucks more than having to decide between that cute nosetip blush, that defining cheek shadow and that cool scar, because they so happen to be all in the blush category and the game just nopes you out of your creativity.

Yeah, Master Controller fixes that for you (after you change it in your MC settings) and lets you have all 3. Or more.

Just don't overdo it, because that also has some limits somewhere, like pretty much anything, but still, being able to put on multiple makeup bits per category and playing around with the opacity of each layer can do so much wonder for a more refined look.

A good example is my boy Kara >>looksie<<, who would plain and simple not exist like that without multi layer makeup.

Just from looking at him and without actually checking in game, I can tell you he's wearing at least 7 different things from the blush category, as well as at least 2 eyeshadows, 2 eyeliners and 2 lipsticks.

That's pretty much the basics I can think of right now... 🤔

La verdad es que yo los extrañé bastante y quiero compartirles que esta semana, ha sido de reconstrucción y ha sido un proceso, porque como les dije la semana pasada no la estaba pasando bien, pero ahora ya estoy intentando mejorar, y todo la semana ha sido así, una semana de paz, de sanar, de pensar, de amarme, por eso es que el tema de hoy es “el amor propio”❤️‍🩹

Este tema realmente es muy muy difícil y es un proceso que me ha costado años y años y aún sigo en el proceso, no soy una experta para hablarles del tema pero si una mujer que ha tenido que pasar por muchas etapas y que realmente cuando entendí que es el amor propio, todo en mi vida empezó a ir mejor.💗

Yo siempre fui una niña con muchos problemas de autoestima y amor propio, inseguridad etc, razón por la cual siempre fui objeto de humillación, bullying, entre otros, yo me sentía completamente solas todo el tiempo, me acomplejaba con otras niñas, me creía todo lo que las personas decían de mi y me importaba aún más la opinión de todos, qué horror más grande, qué cosa tan fea es que te importe la opinión de los demás, y muy genuinamente creo que nunca nos deja de importar al 100% pero si logramos darle una importancia muy mínima.💜👩‍❤️‍💋‍👨

Se que es muy difícil poder amarse y se que es muy difícil poder sentirse seguras, pero quiero que sepas que los más importante siempre siempre eres tú, primero estás TÚ, después TÚ y al final TÚ, porque al final de cuentas solo nos tenemos a nosotros y a nadie más, tienes que aprender a quererte porque vas a convivir contigo toda tu vida así que es mejor que empieces a amarte desde ya, algo que siempre influye muchísimo son los comentarios que hacen otras personas, pero quiero que tú sepas que eso vale madreeee, sólo escúchate a ti y nada más, déjalos que hablen, que digan cosas, déjalos, porque tú sabes lo que eres y lo que vales y vales un chingo y no necesitas de nadie, de NADIEEE, que se te grave eso bien en la cabeza bebe, necesito que empieces a hablarte en el espejo, algo que me afectaba mucho a mi misma en mi proceso, era yo, porque yo era demasiado cruel conmigo y con mi cuerpo, y eso eso más que nada me hacía sentir de la fregada, no fue hasta que empecé a tratarme mejor y a hablarme a mi misma bonito que sentí un cambio real.

Te voy a dejar una tarea para este fin de semana, quiero que te veas en un espejo y que te digas por lo menos 5 cosas bonitas que vez en ti, tus hermosos ojos, tu boca, tu pelo, tus piernas, lo alegre que eres, lo buena que eres en mate, en inglés, se que tienes un millón y más de cualidades, pero no creo que te sea muy difícil encontrar 5 y eso lo vas a repetir todas las mañanas o en las noches mates de dormir y poco a poco tienes que ir diciéndote más y más cosas hasta que ya no tengas que recordarte lo maravillosa que eres porque sabes y tiene la certeza de quien eres y lo mucho que vales🫀
