'Perfect For Me' THEORY!

OKAY so I was screaming to my best friend @fearthebirds , about the TWT tracklist! (I've basically forced her to love trolls 😂). So of course I'm hyped over how 'Perfect for me' sounds like it's going to be a love song and how broppy may happen. I think most of us are thinking that this is a broppy song too.

AND THAT'S WHEN SHE CAME UP WITH AN AMAZING THEORY (thank you) That I don't think any of us have considered!!

IT MAKES SOOOOO MUCH SENSE!!!!!!! HE ALWAYS FELT LIKE HE NEVER FIT IN, SO THIS JOURNEY ACROSS THE WORLD IS ALSO A JOURNEY OF SELF DISCOVERY FOR HIM!!! After trying to fit in with other tribes (as we see with his amazing dancing 😂) he realises the pop trolls are the best for him as they accept him as he is, and then he sings this song 'Perfect for me' as a little appreciation for Poppy and the Pop trolls , and a self realisation song. (Meaning he's probably going to be alone when he sings this)

It also explains why this isn't a duet, because if it was a happy love song I'm pretty sure Poppy would be singing too.

What do you guys think?

Trolls World Tour Theory ✨💛

So Hickory is gonna be singing “I fall to Pieces” which goes a little something like this:

And according to this sticker book:

He and Delta are an item or were an item! I’ve seen the storyboards where Hickory is breaking Poppy, Branch, and Biggie out of jail and then apparently fleeing from Delta and her crew.

So there are a couple of options here. Maybe Delta and Hickory have a kind of forbidden romance. She is the sheriff and considering he’s busting Poppy and Branch out of prison, he’s an outlaw. A classic outlaw and sheriff tragic love story. (only gender reversed from old westerns which is awesome!) OR they’ve broken up because he’s an outlaw. Hence the I fall to pieces song. Which is when he sings it to Poppy and Branch (and maybe Biggie) around this scene:

Which is when he probably asks Poppy and Branch what he should do about his tragic love story and Branch lays down some of his sweet poetry/relationship advice and we have a little of this:

And that’s when Branch decides that he wants to completely tell Poppy how he feels about her.

So maybe while Hickory and Poppy are asleep Branch goes off and sings

PERFECT FOR ME.

Considering the songs are right next to each other.

Look Back At It

For months leading up to college, I kept telling myself and others how incredibly excited I was to finally leave my little home town where everyone knows everyone and start a new chapter of my life.  I would say with such confidence how I was so ready to leave and that I knew that college would be the best four years of my life.  It was the night before I left when I realized, holy crap, I’m leaving my little home town, the place that made me who I am.  I was born and raised in the same house, surrounded by the same people, for 18 years.  I had some absolutely amazing moments, and I also had some really hard losses, and I wouldn’t have survived without the people around me.  Now, just like that, I was leaving and being dropped off in another town, in another state, with over 17,000 total strangers.  It was when I was leaving the house of my childhood best friend that Friday night when I just broke down in tears.  I would not be who I am today without the people who surrounded me all my life, how could I ever be okay somewhere else?  

Despite the doubts, I packed up the car, and drove off to Newark, DE, a town that probably wouldn’t even be on a map if it weren’t for my college (let’s be real, it’s Delaware).  As I walked into my dorm, met my roommates in person for the first time, and unpacked my things, I felt as if I was walking into someone else’s life.  Eventually, my parents left, and there I was, on this beautiful campus with tons of new people.  I couldn’t help but wonder which ones would be a part of my life.  The first few weeks I just felt like I was dreaming, it wasn’t good or bad, just weird.  I was beginning to worry that I would never get used to the college life.  Then, it all just clicked.  I found the people that I could truly be myself around, and just like that I felt like I was in my element again.  You develop a routine, and slowly fall in love with this new world. Between the ungodly, late night study grinds, to the dance sessions in my friends’ rooms during finals week, to making fun of who did what with who at that insane party last night, I really think I’m starting to find my Blue Hen family. I’d be lying if I said there weren’t hard days and nights, but overall, I feel like college has been a really great thing for me, and I think the rest of the Nine Yards can agree.

I started writing this because in the morning I get to go back to my new life and give it another go(my school has a crazy long break, so I’ve been home longer than everyone else).  I'm really excited, but I'm also nervous again, also got used to being home with my old friends and family.  This complication of emotions, as overwhelming as it is, makes me feel blessed.  I left my home of 18 years and in just a few months, I found comfort in a new one.  The saying is true, don’t ever forget where you come from, be proud of it, because it made you who you are today.  However, don’t be afraid to wipe the slate clean and start a new chapter.  Life is short, let new people in, don’t forget the old, and don’t be afraid to be ballsy sometimes.
