Is there gonna be a third part for Deserved It🥺
Deserve You+#
Word count:1.7k
A/N: Everyone say thank youu anon for reminding me lmaoo. This was supposed to be posted tomorrow but I got excited soo
“Pete, please just let me explain.” You whimpered, your voice and spirit growing weak. It felt hopeless, like maybe you really had lost him for good.
Your fist knocked lightly against the wood of the hotel room door, the sound reverberating down the silent hallway. Anxiety filled you, this wasn’t your first time knocking. You had been here for fifteen minutes and were completely unsuccessful so far.
You were pleasantly surprised when you heard fumbling from inside, not expecting them to answer. When the door swung open you were met with the sight of Colson towering over you, an unimpressed glare being shot your way
“He can’t hear you, he’s in the shower. Now stop, you’re pissing me off.”
“Please.”
“What do you want?” The question was more of a statement, letting you talk only to get you to leave.
“Is he okay?” You ask, sniffling.
“What the fuck do you think?”
“Please, I just wanna make it better.“ You plead
“Then go the fuck home.” He replies, shutting the door halfway before opening it again “And stop fucking knocking.” He adds, shutting the door in your face. Sighing, your back slides down the door, admitting defeat.
As you sat in the all too quiet hallway you found yourself wondering if maybe it meant more than you would like to admit. Maybe Colson was right, would you have kissed Shawn if he had never walked in? Would you have even ever told Pete if you did? Would you even regret it?
Tears began to well up in your eyes at the thought. Who were you kidding? Of course you’d regret it, who cares what everyone else thinks? You knew better than anyone that leaving Pete for Shawn would be the downgrade of a lifetime, and the fact that people based the opposite assumption purely over their own ideals of beauty was fucked up. Pete treated you better than Shawn ever did, he made you feel more than Shawn ever could. He made you a better person, you couldn’t believe your judgement had lapsed that badly, even for so much as a second.
Your head knocked against the door twice, trying to bang the anxious thoughts directly from their source, before the door swung open, the tall blonde giving you a single disapproving look when he spotted you on the floor.
“Is it the pizza?” You could hear Pete ask from inside. Right, you hadn’t gotten the chance to eat dinner
“Nah, it’s just Rook. I’ll be right back, you got the door for me?”
“Yeah, I got it.” Pete replied, his voice hoarse. You could only imagine he’d been crying.
You glanced up at Colson from your place on the floor, embarrassed.
“Just let me talk to him.”
“No.”
“He's not a baby, he doesn't need you to protect him.” You mumble
“No, but he cares about you. A lot. A-fucking-lot a lot, and I know if I let him out here and he sees you crying he’ll run right back into your arms.”
“I just wanna see him. I hurt him and it's killing me to know I can't hold him and make him feel better. I just wanna hold him.” You say, your voice cracking.
“Why don’t you just leave him alone and call Shawn instead so he can cheat on you again and you can go on another fucking bender and pretend like theres something interesting about your life.”
“Fuck you.” You retort, although you know his anger is the only reason for his words
“Fuck you too, (Y/N). Who took care of you after you went on your little fucking bender? Pete. Who helped you through the breakup? Pete. Who was with you when you felt like the whole world hated you even though you did nothing wrong? Pete. Who was there for you, romantic or not, whenever you needed him? Pete.If you really want to apologize you need to wipe those fucking tears, take a breath, clean yourself up, and fucking apologize without guilting him into saying its okay.”
“Okay, Okay. I’m not Casie.”
“Damn right you’re not, cause my daughter would’ve never pulled this dumb shit in the first place. And get off the fucking floor, you look pathetic.” He scolds, watching as you stand up, still almost a foot shorter than him. Colson turns around, pushing the door open as it was only half shut. You peer inside, trying to catch sight of Pete, but seeing only a piece of the hallway.
You remained on the floor, not daring to knock once again out of fear Colson might call security on you.
Your head ticked up curiously when you heard someone walking down the hallway, looking up to see Rook making his way towards you. Glancing down at you, he knocked, waiting for a moment before Colson was walking out of the door. Colson looked down at you as well, mild disgust gracing his features before he was walking down the hallway alongside Rook, the two boys disappearing into the elevator.
Pete walked out five minutes later, hoping you hadn’t given up and left. His eyes lit up when he saw you, first reaction being to fix the pout that was stamped on your face.
“Oooh, you got in trouble.” Pete teases, shutting the door behind himself and taking a seat next to you on the carpeted floor, not entirely caring that it was dirty as long as you were right down there with him.
“You heard?”
“It’s a hotel door, not a soundproof barrier.” He jokes, looking at you “Yeah, I heard everything. Listen, he shouldn’t have said any of that to you. He was angry, that’s all.”
“Don’t defend me.” You reply, looking over to meet his eyes. Pete purses his lips, his eyes filling with tears
“I’m always gonna defend you.” He says, his eyes leaving yours as he does, landing on the floor instead. The tone of his words are less reassuring and more disappointed. You thought for a moment he would cry, but he didn’t. His hand never even so much as came up to wipe his tears. Another brief silence fell over you, one more and you think you’d rip your hair out. You were unsure if you should wrap your arms around him the way you wanted to, the last thing you wanted to do was manipulate him into telling you what you did wasn’t a problem.
“I get it.” Pete says, breaking the silence.
“What?” You ask, your voice surprising even you in the midst of such stillness, feeling foreign and unlike your own
“I get if you want to be with him,” Your eyes meet once again as he says this “I won’t hate you.” He assures, his lips pushing together in a sad, half smile. You stared at him, examining his features and what you had done to him, but in Pete’s mind you were weighing out your options, and everytime Shawn came out on top. He was so caught up in his own mind he almost didn’t catch it when you began shaking your head.
“Oh thank god, cause he’s back at our place right now and we fucked on our bed-” Pete’s head tilted down in disappointment, focusing on his tattooed fingers. You laughed, punching his arm lightly “No, I want you dummy. Why else would I be humiliating myself by crying in a la quinta hallway. What's up with that, by the way? Colson doesn’t have the money to put you up somewhere better? You just got your heart broken.” Pete cracked a smile, his gaze shifting up to the door.
“I know the breakup was hard for you, and everything after it too. I guess I can understand just wanting something before it felt like the world turned it’s back to you.”
“No. I don’t want that, I don’t want Shawn. Sappy love songs, extravagant vacations, waking up early to exercise, flirting publicly as fan service, the perfect family-”
“Okay, okay we get it. He has a dad.” He laughs “Stop rubbing it in.”
“And actually nice hotels, seriously what the fuck is this.” You laughed, your heart swelling with love when you managed to make Pete smile “It’s just not who I am anymore. I’m late nights watching TV, laughing by the fridge when we get up at 3am to make snacks cause we have the munchies. I'm sitting in your backyard with you, your mom and your sister while we eat dinner and breathe the fresh air and look at the stars. I’m going on walks cause we’re depressed and need the sun to convince us we’re okay again. You changed me in the best ways, baby. I don’t want anything else.” You stared at the ceiling, vivid images flashing through your mind, thinking who you are now is so much more beautiful than who you were then.
You hadn’t even realized Pete was crying until he sniffled, your gaze drifting back over to him, the sight breaking your heart.
“Fucking lame.” He replies, both of his hands coming up to wipe his eyes, his sweatshirt pulled over his hands. You reach over, wrapping your arms around him and pulling him into your grasp. Laying there in peaceful silence, you find yourself running your hands through his hair, inhaling his scent and letting his body warm your own. You felt yourself calm down for the first time tonight with him in your arms.
The moment was broken as someone exited their hotel room, glancing down at the two of you on the floor before making their way to the pool, towel flung over their shoulder. Pete and you shared a look of amusement as he walked away, stifling your laughter until he made it to the elevator.
“Come on, let's go inside.” He says, trying the doorknob. There’s a thump sound as it moves a bit and stops, his eyebrows furrowing in confusion before giving it another try. You tilted your head, looking at the doorknob and to Pete as a look of realization overtook his features.
“I forgot my key.” He sucks his teeth, shaking his head as you laugh from your place on the floor.

this side of paradise, part one: r.i.p. me
characters: alma greene, rebecca word count: 1.1k rating: general part 2 | part 3 | part 4
“So…” Alma says with the sort of breezy detachment that, coming from her, can only be feigned. She pulls two mugs off the metal rack in her tiny kitchen: the first is covered in a pristine white glaze, sporting a slim handle meant for a sophisticated hand, and reserved exclusively for visits from her mother; the second is a well-loved novelty mug with a chip in the rim and cracked black glaze, roughly drawn flowers surround a tombstone graphic that reads ‘R.I.P. ME’ —Alma’s favorite. “I’ve been thinking.”
She pours and passes Rebecca a cup of coffee, making a point to ignore the wary glance thrown her way as her mom spoons a bit of sugar into the mug.
“Mhm,” Rebecca hums, worry pinching at that line between her brows. Alma wonders if it’s always been there, gone ignored from idealization, and brought to light by so many recent disillusions.
Alma sips her own coffee, stalling the inevitable. This is a topic she’s wanted to raise for a while but the timing’s never right. It’s not right today either but at least they’re alone. I’m not asking for permission, she tells herself, just a little guidance.
“I think it’s time we talk about the possibility of me turning.”
“Turning.” It’s not a question, but the incredulous way it drops from her mouth is anything but confident.
“Into a vampire.”
Rebecca takes a long drink of her coffee. The silence between them prickles uncomfortably, but teenage summers spent working at the uptown boutique taught Alma that silence sells. She leans forward and waits for Rebecca’s move.
Rebecca’s knuckles whiten around the delicate handle of her mug and, for a moment, Alma fears she’ll snap it off.
“Alma, sweetie, that’s… It’s not a good idea. You can’t possibly—”
“No, no. I can.” She rises from her too-casual slouch, fingers tracing the edge of her mug. “And I think I should. I’m going to tell you why, and then you can tell me how.”
Rebecca narrows her eyes, a calculating look that Alma’s only seen her use at work. She doesn’t enjoy feeling like work.
“Did he put this in your head? Or—or is it because you think this will help you learn more about your dad?”
Alma scoffs and meets Rebecca’s icy gaze with a blazing glare of her own. Eyes she loves in the face of a woman she barely recognizes anymore. “I haven’t talked to Mason about it yet, or any of the others for that matter.”
Alma lets that hang for a moment and doesn’t mention Rook. She doesn’t want Rebecca to know she’s right about one thing, wants instead for her to squirm in the bitterness of her incorrect assumption.
“I thought you’d want to be the first to know.”
Rebecca sits up straight in the barstool with crossed arms, that professional armor up against her own daughter, and Alma knows exactly how they got here. They were close, unimaginably close despite all the time she was away. Multiple calls every week, in-jokes, surprise lunch dates, every single holiday and school function. Rebecca was there as much as she could be and Alma stretched her understanding a little more every year. They made it work.
Alma used to pine for the weekends Rebecca could be home without interruption. Stopping by Haley’s (back when it was her father’s place) for waffles and hot chocolate before a trip to the city for new comic books and maybe a movie at the nice theater. Sitting with her back to the sofa as her mom, with the deep scent of vanilla radiating from her, trimmed or braided Alma’s hair, syndicated Star Trek episodes playing on the living room tv and she’d never felt so safe.
But she never feels safe anymore, and that’s the point. That’s the problem.
“Listen,” she starts, pulling the mass of her curls back from her face. It’s too hot in here. She didn’t mean to get angry. “I just… I can’t live like this anymore, being prey for every creature I meet because my blood’s basically supernatural Redbull—”
“Alma, please—”
“I’m serious! I’m tired, mom.” And she sighs with the weight of it, a fear she hates admitting but one that eats at her. “I love this work, I do. I’m incredibly grateful you let me in, even if it was by necessity. But I’m a target, even with Bravo’s protection. If there’s even a chance this could solve that? I want to take that chance.”
Rebecca pries open the tight line of her lips. “Vampirism won’t kill you. Their physiology may be different from humans, but their veins still circulate blood just like ours do—we don’t know that it’d negate your mutation, or if the venom would even be accepted by your system.”
Hm. Alma hadn’t thought about what would happen if it didn’t take. With the amount of shit she’s been through because of this mutation, it’s a risk she’s willing to make regardless. “I think I’d still like to try. Even if the mutation sticks around, I’d be able to protect myself in ways I can’t now.”
Rebecca tilts her head, hand on her chin, and Alma can almost see the breakneck speed at which she filters through the best and worst outcomes, a quality she’s always admired. She can’t help looking up to her, even now. Finally, Rebecca stands from her stool.
“Where are you going?” Alma heads around the counter to cut her off.
Rebecca sweeps her into a tight hug and Alma’s back on the living room floor, the scent of vanilla behind her, all around her, and Rebecca there encouraging her to think and question and embrace weirdness. Back when those rituals were enough, before she really met her hero.
“I’ll consult with the techs that did your blood work, see what advice they have. If you’re considering this, we should be as informed as possible, hm?”
The smile Rebecca offers as she turns toward the door is not a happy one, but Alma considers this a success.
“And Alma,” she says, opening the door just a crack, “do talk to Bravo about this. What to expect, what they think, what forever is like. You can’t come back from this decision.”
She marches out of the apartment with a heavy finality. Alma sinks back on the counter and scoops up her coffee. She figures this was the hard part. Talking to her team—her friends—should be a breeze after Rebecca’s hard-won, if begrudging, acceptance.
At least that’s what she’ll tell herself for now.
#azia writes#twc#twc detective#twc rebecca#alma greene#what is pacing i don't know her#it's honestly wild how their relationship got more angsty than i intended#they were supposed to be mega close but all the stuff with rook... i can't and neither can alma apparently#anyway. they still love each other very much but it's tough for alma not to talk to rebecca like A Person now#rather than an authority on life. because she finally sees she doesn't have a clue either#anyway this series isn't going to include the actual transformation. it's just the various convos that factor into solidifying her decision#i was gonna wait until i finished the other two parts but you know what?#POST

CHAPTER I
Phone Call: Birthday Girl, Rosalia Morgainne
Walpurga Nacht Computer Lab
[Ring, Ring]
Rosa: Th-The phone is ringing! That's gotta be Vil, I bet! He always makes sure to leave a message every year, but since we've gotten closer lately ma-maybe...
Ah! It's been ringing for a while now! If I don't answer now, he might get mad and stop calling. [clears throat] Vil-
Rook: Ah, Reine de la Passion!
Rosa: Ro-Rook?!
Rook: Ah, to think that you would be kind enough to remember my name despite our brief meeting. Hm, but they do indeed say that the heart grows fonder and fonder despite the treacherous distance and thus-
Rosa: Why are you the one that's calling?!
Rook: Hm?
Rosa: Eh, I mean... Uh, wh-why are you the one that is giving me a call instead of Vi- I mean! Maybe other people are, um, trying to call and, uh...
Rook: Oh? So you are displeased with my presence? Ah, how truly disheartening.
Rosa: N-No! I wouldn't go so far, but-
Rook: But?
Rosa: It's true that I have been lo-looking forward for somebody else to call...
Rook: Mm, oui, I understand.
Rosa: Yo-You do?! How?! I mean- It's not that I'm in love or anything like that! I just, um, admire him a lot and re-really look up to him so don't go thinking we-weird things or-
Rook: Have no fear, Reine de la Passion. I completely understand.
Rosa: Re-Really?
Rook: Oui! Monsieur Tough Guy is rather impressive indeed. I'm certain he would be just as touched by your confession as I have been.
Rosa: Huh?! Tough guy?! Who's that?!
Rook: Hm? Am I perhaps mistaken? Is the object of your affections not-
Rosa: Do-Don't say anything else! Just forget about it! Just don't say anything! O-Or you'll get cu-cursed for real! Got it?!
Rook: Aaaaah, what fighting spirit! Très bien! I'm completely overwhelmed!
Rosa: Stop it! Stop talking! It's embarrassing!!
Chapter II
Rosa: Rook!
Rook: Hm? You call my name so ferociously it makes me shiver. I wonder just what could it be?
Rosa: Why are you the one who's calling me today?
Rook: Oh? Is it that bothersome to you?
Rosa: Bothersome... It's more like weird! I don't get why you'd call to be honest with you!
Rook: Mm, what a charming and straightforward answer! I'm very pleased!
Rosa: Eh? Just what-
Rook: As for your question - Vil has informed me that you are celebrating this wonderful accomplishment and I simply couldn't restrain myself from calling to congratulate you.
Rosa: I-Is that so? I see... Ah! But th-that means that Vil didn't actually forget about it either...
Rook: Hm? Of course not! Vil has even taken the precaution to send you a gift in advance just to make sure it will arrive on your birthday.
Rosa: He really went through that trouble...
Rook: Non, non! It was no trouble at all! This sort of gesture is but expected from childhood friends such as you!
Rosa: Childhood friends... Hm, I wonder if I could call us that. Back then I used to really buy into the whole TV persona that was set up for me... No, the one I set up for myself so I don't really understand Vil all that much either. I used to believe that things really worked in black and white so I never questioned anything I did... I'm sure that to other people this must have been annoying too, and yet Vil didn't turn me away when I tried to contact him...
I wonder if I had been a little more willful back then too... Maybe then...
Rook: Reine de la Passion?
Rosa: ! Don't li-listen to what I'm saying! I'm rambling! Just rambling! Forget about it! Ok?! Promise?! Please!
Rook: To be begged with such ferocity - Oui! This is magnifique as well!
Rosa: I don't get it but as long as you keep quiet it's fine with me!!
Chapter III
Rosa: Ah, to think it turned out this way when I just wanted one simple phone call...
Rook: Hm? Is something the matter?
Rosa: Huh? No, it's nothing, just... This is not the kind of birthday I'm used to that's all.
Rook: Oh? Is that so?
Rosa: Mm. Usually, I get phone calls from my mother and father to congratulate me, and my agent too. They all like to have video chats with me too, but the signal is spotty here so the best we can do is the computer lab. Then I sometimes make a thank you message for all my fans to show them how happy I am for their support and gifts.
Though this year there wasn't really any of that.
But that's ok!! I'm not upset at all about that! I mean it! Because I know that even if it's just mom and dad and my agent, it's still a wonderful birthday celebration!
Rook: What an optimistic way of looking at it! Truly wonderful!
Rosa: Hehe, you think so? Though I guess it really did end up being a great day regardless since you and Jack and Vil called - Even Neige!
Rook: Roi de Neige as well?
Rosa: Hm? You know Neige too? Are you a fan?
Rook: Ah, well- To think that Reine de la Passion is so familiar with Roi de Neige!
Rosa: Eh? You think so? Well, we've known each other since we were kids so I guess it's not that strange. He always does gift me a little song on my birthday which I think is cute, hehe!
I do make sure to pay it back on his birthday as well!
Rook: Aaaah! To hear Roi de Neige's voice on your birthday! Fortune does indeed smile on the lucky ones!
Rosa: Huh? What do you mean? Though I guess that it's a pretty nice gift - Ah, but this year the cactus Jack got for me had to be the best! I wasn't sure what to do with it at first, but now I've gotten used to it and the sight of it really cheers me up every morning!
Rook: Mm. A wonderful expression of love has found its roots even in the shifting sands of the ocean - Oui! Très bien! It's truly a wonderful experience!
Rosa: Experience? What are you talking about? I don't get it at all!
Rook: Non, no need to fret, Reine de la Passion! This is simply my poor observation and nothing else.
Rosa: Ah, well, if you say so... But if you're making fun of me-!
Rook: Non, I would never dream of it! Though in any case, I wish to once again wish you a wonderful birthday! In order to celebrate I have composed this poem for you!
Rosa: Wah?! Uuuuh, why did I know it would end up like this!

Bad Things: Part 2
Pairings: Alpha!Negan x Omega Porn Star!Reader
Warnings: Swearing, fluff, angst, sex slavery, mentioned abuse, medical emergency, seizure
Word Count: 4,344
A/N: I was going to write a nice, peaceful story for @ne-gans challenge… two adult actors fall in love, and it’s so beautiful….. But then this happened. And it’s fucking glorious. (I’m also not sorry.)
Part 1
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
You were sitting on the upper deck, watching the yacht cruise across the Pacific Ocean, in silent shock. Your bother’s music and the sounds of all your friends partying echoed across the water as they celebrated the multimillion dollar contract Kels had just signed with Negan’s label. You wanted to join him and celebrate the good news as well, but something prevented that from happening. Fear of what Matthew could do to you once he found you. Fear of what he would do to your only family member, or your friends. Fear of what he could do to your mate.
“There you are.” Negan said softly as he came around the corner with a blanket, and a bottle of Dom Perignon on ice. “I was wondering where you had escaped to.”
“Not many places to hide.” You said as you adjusted your oversized sweater on your shoulders. “Though that’s not what I was intentionally doing, anyways.” He nodded and put the ice bucket in its holder before gesturing you forward.
“Come here, Omega.” He breathed as he sat down behind you and easily pulled you into his lap. He flicked the blanket out in front of you and pulled it up over your lap, making sure you were completely covered to block out the slight nip in the salty ocean air. As he kissed your temple and wrapped you in his arms, you let out a small sigh and shed a single tear at the gentleness of it.
“I didn’t know what else to do.” You whispered as you laid your head on his shoulder and curled into his chest. “It’s so weird how my life played out. One minute we were traveling all over the world with our parents, and the next thing you know, mom took off, we moved in with our aunt. Then the fighting started, dad took off, and Kels just kinda jumped off the deep end. My aunt was threatening every day to kick us out unless he got his shit together and before I knew it, I was on the streets.”
“I won’t let that shit happen to you again, baby girl.” Negan promised as he tilted his head to see your face.
“Negan, I’m scared.” You whispered as tears started to slide down your cheeks. “What if he…”
“He will never come near you again, Omega. I swear on my fucking life. My job, as your Alpha, is to protect you and I’ll be fucking damned if I fail at my fucking job. You will be safe. Period. No matter what.”
“But what about my brother?” You asked as hysteria started to slip in. “Or my friends. What if he goes after them?”
“He won’t be able to, ‘mega.” He soothed as he cupped your jaw in his large hand. “Hey, look at me. Take a deep breath.” You nodded your head and did what he asked. “Good girl.” He said with a nod as he mimicked taking another deep breath again.
“Now, first of all, do you really think that fucking asshat is going anywhere near your fucking brother? That kid fucking stood up to me with full intention of knocking my ass out just for touching you. Do you think, now that he knows you’re fucking safe with me, that he’s gunna let your fucking manager come near him?” You shook your head as he fixed the blanket around your shoulders when a gust of wind blew across the deck. “And after what I heard he did to you, do you honestly think I would let him stay in fucking business so he can keep hurting other women the same fucking way?” You shook your head again, and curled into him a bit more to stay warm, and to feel the protection you needed.
“No, I’m not gunna let that shit fucking happen. I don’t give a fucking fuck. As of today, my fucking label just branched out into fucking porn. Fuck it. Because I will fucking buy out every mother fucking contract I need to to protect men and women, no matter their fucking status, that are going through the shit you went through, baby girl. I don’t fucking tolerate people who exploit other people for their own benefit. That mother fucker has another fucking thing coming to him. I promise you that.” He searched your eyes and smiled as he ran his fingers through your hair and pulled it all back over your shoulders. “You’re OK now, baby girl. And fuck if I ain’t the luckiest fucking man in the entire world that you’re my Omega.” You choked on your laugh and quickly hid your face in his chest just as Kels came to find you.
“Hey!” He barked, causing you to sit up, and look over at him. “You havin’ a fucking drink with me or what? You’re being a shitty sister right now.” You smirked as you reached back to grab the bottle of champagne, and purposely popped the top right at him, hitting him directly in the chest.
“Congrats, Kels.” You said as you held the bottle away from you over the table so it didn’t get you or your Alpha. Your brother smiled, and nodded as he came over, flopped down on the long, ‘U’ shaped couch beside you, and passed you a joint. “I’m still mad at you.”
“Wanted to surprise you.” He said as he waited for you to pass back the joint before handing you one of the four glasses he had in his hands since he didn’t know how many people you were with. “Figured you’d be happy for me.”
“I am.” You said with a nod as you handed your Alpha his glass before leaning back into his chest for the warmth and taking the joint back. “But you lied to your baby sister, and that’s not very nice, Kels.”
“Boo hoo.” He teased as he stretched out across the couch, and looked up at the starry night sky. “Damn. This is some fucking first class living right here.”
“Takes a lot of fucking work.” Negan said as he rubbed your back softly, shaking his head when you offered him the smoke. “Lots of fucking hard work. But you’re on the right fucking track.” You nodded in agreement as Kels took a gulp of his drink.
“Had a lot to fight for.” He said as he looked over at you and took back the joint. “You and Casie.”
“How is my niece, anyways?”
“She’s good.” He smiled and looked over at you. “Excited to spend a few days on the bus with Auntie (Y/N).” You sighed and rolled your eyes with a smile as you took the joint one last time.
“Didn’t realize she was in town, too. You’re really fucking killin it, here, Coulson.”
“Bite me.” He said as he poured all three of you more champagne while you took a final drag. “Her moms is in town for work day after tomorrow. We’re picking up Casie from the airport on the way back to Cleveland.”
“Good. I got a bunch of new makeup she will have fun destroying.”
“Come on, now.” Kels said as he topped off his glass, traded you what was left of the joint for a cigarette, and got up to rejoin the party. “She’s fucking ten. My baby girl is a straight G when it comes to making up her face now. Bloom.”
“You a big smoker?” Negan asked as he pulled a Zippo lighter from his pocket to light your cigarette for you. You shook your head, and inhaled deeply.
“Not supposed to because of my contract.” You said as he knocked on the window of the wheelhouse and told whoever stepped out the door to bring you an ashtray. “I smoke when I’m with Coulson but not on a regular basis.” Negan nodded as he took the ashtray from his employee and set it on the table where you could reach it easily.
“I don’t want you living by that fucking contract any more.” He said as he pulled your hand toward him to take a drag of his own. “You wanna smoke, do it. You do whatever the fuck you wanna do, baby girl. And you’re coming off those fucking suppressants when you get back from Cleveland. I won’t have my Omega killing herself to hide who she is, you hear me?” You nodded your head as you ashed that cigarette before leaning into his chest again.
“Yes, Alpha.”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
“Alright, Casie. We got this.” You said as you pulled your ten year old niece on to your lap, despite the aching pains you had been feeling all day, so that both of you could see the TV to play Mario Kart against Kels, and his drummer, Rook.
“Oh, you two are fucking going down!” Your brother said as he grabbed his controller, and flopped down on the corner of the ‘u’ shaped couch that took up the whole back part of his tour bus.
“Nu uh!” Casie yelled as she looked up at you to make sure you could see around her giant, curly haired bun, and leaned back against your chest. “You’re gunna lose, dad!”
“Yea, dad!” You taunted as Rook came running back from the bathroom with his remote under his chin as fast as the moving bus would allow him. Kels threw a mini Oreo at your head and you whacked him in the arm as hard as you could as Casie picked her character, Peach, first, per the unofficial bus rules. Once she was locked in, you chose Mario before Rook could, Kels grabbed Bowser, and Rook finally settled on Yoshi.
“Alright, no fucking cheating.” You said with a glare over at your brother as your niece choose the track, another unofficial bus rule.
“You’re to talk!” Rook said as he sat in the only available spot between the two Baker kids, which was the worst seat on the bus when the pair of you were playing against each other. “You abusive little bitch.”
“You’re just mad you always get beat by the girls.” You said as the game started counting down. You held the controller in your left hand and not so subtly grabbed a pillow.
“Don’t do it!” Rook shouted as the game started and you and your brother both whacked each other and poor Rook with a pillow. He growled, and tried to duck as you shoved your brother into the wall of the bus as he tried to catch up to his daughter on the screen.
“Go, Casie, go!” You cheered as you grabbed your remote, and took off across the track.
“Such a fucking cheater!” Kels said as you cut him off, and stole the box he had been aiming for. You smirked and stuck your tongue out at him as you zipped ahead with your star powers and caught up to your niece. You would never, ever dare to pass her because you always worked as a team so you stayed right behind her to keep Kels from taking her first place spot.
“Both of you suck.” Rook complained.
“Y’all are so damn competitive, it’s disgusting.” Ace laughed as he played cards with Slim.
“It’s a family thing.” Kels said as he hit the buttons on his controller as fast as he could to hit your character with a turtle shell. He hissed a ‘yes’ when Mario went flying into the air, and poor Rook jumped to his feet to avoid getting hit when you punched your laughing brother in the arm.
“Got you, dad!” Casie scolded as she ran him off the rainbow bridge, causing you to laugh, obnoxiously, at his expense.
“Oh, I’m coming for you now, Casie.” He said as he got up on his knees as the game announced the final lap.
“Go, baby go!” You cheered as you tried to block Kels’ car with yours. You had him pinned up against the tracks walls until almost the very end when both your hands seized. The remote fell to Casie’s lap as she crossed the finish line in first place, and your brother’s head whipped over to you, instantly.
“Fuck, not again.” He said as he tossed his remote on the couch. “Cas, get up!”
“Coul… C-c-c…” You tried as your muscles started to lock up, and spasm simultaneously.
“I know.” Kels said as he shoved everything off the couch onto the floor. “Casie, go get (Y/N)’s blue bag.” His daughter nodded as she turned, and ran off while Slim and Kels tried to straighten your limbs out and lay you down before the seizure started. “So fucking over this shit.”
“N… N…” You tried you tried to focus your vision on anything in the room.
“Casie, you gotta fucking hurry baby!” Kels yelled as he grabbed your bottom jaw to keep it open so you could breathe.
“Here.” She said as she held out the bag and climbed onto the couch to hold your head in her lap so it wouldn't hit the back of the couch. Your brother ripped the zipper open with his teeth as Slim and Ace held you on your side as the seizure, caused by not having a heat in the past ten years and the chemical imbalance due to your meds, started to roll through your body.
“Thanks, baby.” Kels said as he grabbed a syringe and passed it and a bottle of liquid Ativan to Rook. “Two mig’s.” The drummer nodded as your brother kneeled down on the ground in front of you, grabbed a thick, rubber mouth guard from the bag, and wedged it between your teeth so you wouldn’t break your teeth or bite through your tongue when your jaw clenched. His chest heaved painfully as he gasped for air, hating that he had to watch you go through this yet again.
“Here.” Rook said as he held out the full syringe.
“Alright, here we go.” Kels said over the inhuman noise you were making as he ripped down the sleeve of your sweater and gave you the shot that would only temporarily help. “Here we go, it’s almost done, babe. Shhh…” He nodded his head and moved so he was directly in front of your face as he loosely held the back of your head with one hand and used the other to keep your mouth open to breathe. He kept talking to you while Casie kept brushing her hand through your hair as your seizure subsided.
“Do we need to find a hospital?” Ace asked as Kels pulled the mouth guard from your mouth when you stopped spasming .
“Na, she’ll make it to Cleveland.” He said as he put his hand on the side of your face and head so you knew he was there. “Someone find me her phone though.”
“Dad, the blanket.” Casie said as she pointed it out to him. He nodded as he grabbed the fabric and passed it to her so she could help him.
“C… Coul…” You tried as you began to shiver violently.
“I’m right here.” He said as he rubbed the side of your face. “You’re alright, sweetheart. I got you.” He looked over when someone tapped his arm and grabbed your phone from Slim’s hand. “We’re gunna get you to Cleveland, (Y/N). Take you to the hospital there.” You nodded subtly as he unlocked your cell and found Negan’s number, knowing you’d want your Alpha to be there when you got to the hospital. He propped the phone up to his ear with his shoulder, and grabbed your blue bag off the floor to find the sugar cubes you kept in there.
“Negan? It’s Kels. Look, figured you would want to know, (Y/N)’s having another seizure fit from her meds. We’re gunna take her to Cleveland Clinic. Should be there in a couple hours.” He looked down at you with a sigh, put a small, broken piece of the cube on your lips, and nodded his head as you looked up at him with wide, panicked eyes. Without a word, he pulled his hand away from your head to grab your phone. “She won’t be able to answer, but she can hear you.” He said before putting the call on speaker, and laying the phone in front of your face. “Go ahead.”
“Hey, baby girl.” Negan said, as calmly as he could over the sound of him scrambling to get the paperwork he would need into his briefcase. “I’m gunna meet you at the hospital, OK? You’re gunna be alright, just keep breathing for me.” You tried to nod your head, unsuccessfully, as your whole body tensed, and relaxed a few times. “You should feel special, Omega. I don’t ever do the fucking snow if I can avoid it. Shit’s fucking cold. I’m much fucking happier in warm, sunny California. But, just for you, I’ll endure the damn snow. I’m coming, (Y/N). I’m on my fucking way.” You nodded your head half an inch, as your eyes drifted closed in exhaustion. You let out a throaty ‘un’ as a response before falling into a fitful sleep.
“She’s asleep.” Kels said as he sat down in front of the couch with his arm in front of your body as he picked the phone back up and took it off speaker. “This is the shit I was fucking talking about.”
“I’m taking care of it.” Negan growled as he got in the elevator to head down to his car. “I’ll be there in a few hours. Keep her phone on you.” Your brother nodded as the two Alpha’s hung up simultaneously.
“Is that guy gunna stop Aunt (Y/N)’s fits?” Casie asked as she carefully moved out from under your head, and put a pillow down in her place.
“I sure fucking hope so, baby girl.” Kels said as he ran his hand over his hair. “I sure fucking hope so.”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Leather, whiskey, and aftershave. It made you feel calm despite the amount of pain you were in. You whined, wishing that there was something you could do to get away from the pain but there wasn’t much you could do about it.
“Hey, sweetheart.” Negan said softly before your eyes even opened as he got up from the chair he had been sitting in for two days, watching you go through multiple fits that he could do nothing about. He smiled when you finally opened your eyes, sat down on the bed beside you, and pulled the blanket he had brought you from his bed up to your chin for you. “You’re alright, Omega.” Tears welled in your eyes, and you shook your head, disrupting the nasal cannula that was giving you extra oxygen.
“No.” You croaked as he picked up your hand, and put it on his thigh so you knew he was there. He shushed you softly as he cupped your jaw in his hand to fix your oxygen, and you instinctively turned your nose into his wrist, preventing him from doing so.
“You’re alright now, baby.” He said as he brushed your hair back with his other hand while you burst into tears. “I’m here. But you gotta fucking breathe for me.” You nodded against his palm as he finally put your oxygen back on.
“Negan.” You cried as you wrapped your sore fingers around the fabric of his dress pants.
“You gotta breathe.” He repeated in his Alpha tone. “Breathe Omega, or I will go sit back down in my chair until you do.” You nodded and finally took a deep, shaky breath. He nodded his head and smiled as you repeated the action and looked up at him through your tears. “Good. I’m gunna go get the doc while you keep taking deep breaths. I'm coming right back.” You nodded again as he carefully loosened your grip on his slacks and put your hand back down on the bed. “You stay calm, now.” With one more nod, he stepped out of your hospital room to find your doctor. You closed your eyes and tried to piece together the past couple days. That was another down side to your fits; losing days of your life to blackouts.
“Ms. Baker?” A beta woman said as she came into the room. You opened your eyes and nodded as a tall woman in a white coat walked in to your room behind your mate. “It’s good to see you awake. My name is Doctor Wilson. I just wanted to come touch base with what happened, and how we’re going to treat you from here.”
“I have fits.” You said as you looked away from her.
“Omega, it is not just fucking fits.” Negan scolded as he stood on the other side of the bed. “Listen to her. She’s helping.” You nodded and looked back up at the doctor.
“(Y/N), in the course of the past three days, you have had six seizures, as a side effect of these suppressants you have been on.” You nodded at her as she picked up the half empty blister pack Kels had given her when he brought you in, and showed it to you. “Personally, I haven’t seen this brand on the shelves of a pharmacy for Omega’s in at least a decade because the severe side effects…”
“My old manager got them in bulk from Mexico.” You whispered as you looked down at your hands in shame. “He made us take them.” Negan growled beside you as the doctor looked at you in horror.
“I’m sorry. He made you?” The doctor asked.
“It’s a long, long fucking story that I have a group of LA’s best lawyers looking into.” Negan said as he reached down to hold your hand so you would stop picking at your thumbnail.
“God, I sure hope you win that case.” Dr. Wilson said as she put the pills back under the clasp of her clipboard to dispose of. “At any rate, we now have to get you off these medications, and either put you on a better suppressant that doesn’t have the extreme side effects, or take you off suppressants completely. That, however, is your choice…”
“Off.” You said with zero hesitation. “I want to be off of them.” Dr. Wilson glanced up at Negan for his agreement, and nodded with him as she pulled a pen from her coat pocket, and made a note in your chart.
“Alright. Well fortunately, at three days out, we’ve passed the half life of the drug. So getting the rest of it out of your system is just a matter of time. However, there are so many side effects to being on this particular medication long term that we just don’t know about. Blood clots, heart attack, stroke, inability to conceive, ovarian cysts…”
“Enough.” Negan said, shortly when you squeezed his hand, and whined nervously. The doctor looked up at him as he stepped forward and sat down on the bed beside you, protectively. “Enough. She didn’t have a fucking choice in taking those fucking pills, and any fucking side effects she has because of them, will be addressed by the best damn doctors in the fucking world. No use trying to further traumatize an already terrified Omega.”
“My apologies.” Dr. Wilson said with a nod as Negan covered you with his blanket again so you would feel safe surrounded by his scent. “Well, Ms. Baker, we’d like to keep you here for a few more days to monitor your wellbeing. The concern we have, of course, is your first heat.”
“Is she stable enough to be transferred?” Negan asked as he brushed his thumb over your knuckles. “No offense meant to your fine establishment, but I’d prefer to have my Omega closer to home.”
“She can be transferred.” The doctor said with a nod as she closed your chart. “But it is something we need to confirm with her brother, first. Unfortunately, that’s hospital policy with unclaimed Omegas.” Negan nodded his head and looked over at you with a smile.
“I’ll let you choose, Omega. You can stay here near Kels, or we can go back home.”
“I wanna go home.” You said as you laid your head back against the pillow. “Please, Alpha.” He nodded his head and gave you a reassuring smile before looking back up at the doctor.
“I’ll go put in the transfer orders, and confirm with Mr. Baker.” She said with a nod. “I’ll just need the name of the hospital…”
“It’ll be a home address.” Negan said as he pulled his hand free of yours for a moment to get a piece of paper and a pen from his briefcase. “I already have a call in to an Omega specialist from Europe that’s just waitin’ on my call and my primary doctor is also waiting to monitor her wellbeing through her recovery.” Dr. Wilson nodded once more, and took the paper with Negan’s home address to add it to your chart.
“Alright. Let me make a few phone calls, and get your paperwork in order, and we’ll get you squared away. I’ll be back.” You said a soft ‘thank you’ to her back as Negan came back over and sat down beside you.
“Don’t you listen to a fucking word she had to say.” He said as he cupped your jaw again. “You’re gunna be just fucking fine, baby girl.”
“But what if she’s right?” You whispered as tears filled your eyes. “What if I can’t give you pups…”
“Then we don’t have pups.” He said simply as he brushed his thumb across your cheek. “Or we fucking adopt. Omega, I don’t need pups to be happy if I have you in my life.” You nodded your head but closed your eyes as you leaned into his touch. He sighed as he leaned forward and gently kissed your forehead. “You’re gunna be just fine, baby girl. Let’s just get you home.”
Patrol duty
Day 5 of Jancy Fanfic Week is here, the theme is “Canon compliant: If the Duffers read it, they could include it in season 3.” That inspired me to this, which is my suggestion for a possible opening scene of Stranger Things 3. I’ve already written a lot of canon compliant stuff in terms of missing scenes, but since this one is pretty short and doesn’t actually have that much Jancy action in it, as always feel free to drop any prompts in my inbox and I’ll see if I can get something more out today.
Also on Ao3 and FFNet.
So far, being a cop was nothing like in the movies. Okay, he did realize it was Hawkins and nothing ever happens here. Apart from interdimensional monsters killing people. And he supposes that him being bored at work is better than him fighting Demodogs again. Thankfully no new threats from the Upside Down has arisen since last Halloween. He knows because he and Chief Hopper is always on the lookout for anything out of the ordinary. He knows him knowing about it all was may have been the main factor in Hopper taking him on as cadet even though he flunked the written exam the first time and only passed the shooting test because Nancy took him out to the woods to practice it beforehand. As Nancy had said, ”He’ll like having someone else on the Force who knows about it”.
And it was better being bored at work as a cop than being bored working for his dad. Since the latter option entailed both boredom and his father, he’d gladly taking being bored in the passenger seat of a cruiser next to Officer Callahan.
It’s Friday night and they have patrol duty. He’s been on patrol several times, but never on a Friday night. He thinks of what Friday nights used to mean for him. Usually a party somewhere that may or may not eventually be broken up by the police. Now he was on the other side of it. Though thankfully they hadn’t gotten calls about any rowdy party tonight. His worst fear is that they’ll send him out to bust up a party and he’ll be recognized by people he went to school with.
”Well, let’s check out the usual spots,” Callahan suddenly changes subject after droning on about what he had for lunch today for way to long.
”The usual spots?”
”You should know, Rookie, the regular spots popular with the teenagers around here…” Callahan says and waggles his eyebrows.
”Oh…”
”Actually, do you know about any new spots? I’ll swing by Lovers Lake first of course.”
”No… no, that’s pretty much the main one I suppose… but uh, do we have to? I mean, can’t we just let the kids be kids?” He tries, really not thrilled about the prospect of going around busting teen couples in cars. He’s been on the other side of that too.
”Nah, Chief wants us to. Plus it’s kind of fun, see it as a chance to get revenge for all those times in high school you got rejected. When the girls never wanted to go to the lake with you but wanted to go with Johnny Nicholls or-”
His raised eyebrows silences the increasingly agitated Callahan.
”… you were the Johnny Nicholls guy, weren’t you?” Callahan sighs.
”I guess. You actually busted me in sophomore year out here with a girl…”
”Oh. Sorry about that. Well then, now’s your chance to spoil someone else’s fun.”
Callahan comes to a stop and nods to a car parked by the lake.
”What? You mean I have to…?”
”Yeah? Come on, get out and do it.”
”Why do I have to do it? Why can’t you…”
”Hey, I am your superior. Hate to pull rank on you, Rook, but go out there and make some pour guy miserable, that’s an order.”
”Fine,” he sighs and steps out of the cruiser.
He can only pray it’s not anyone he knows. But the car looks vaguely familiar, he thinks as he takes out his flashlight and strides over. He lets out a deep sigh before he steps up to one of the windows by the backseat, banging on it and shining his flashlight through it.
What he sees inside horrifies him. Jonathan Byers, pants halfway down, and under him Nancy Wheeler, shirt off and looking to be in the process of losing her pants aswell when he interrupts them. They both jolt and curse at his knock. Thank God for Byers, who makes sure to shield Nancy’s body with his while she scrambles to get her shirt back on, before he gets his pants back up. A real gentleman, he has to hand it to him.
”Steve?!” Both Nancy and Jonathan shriek when they see that it’s him. He really wishes a black hole would open up beneath him and swallow him down. Instead he gives an awkward wave.
”Steve, what the hell?!” Nancy hisses, rolling down the window slightly and looking both surprised, embarrassed and angry. Jonathan looks to be almost more uncomfortable than he himself.
”Sorry, sorry. But uh, you can’t do that here, it’s indecent exposure and…”
”Seriously?!” Nancy cuts him off. ”You do realize that-”
”Yeah yeah, I know, I know, brick, glass house, I know. This isn’t exactly how I wanted to spend my Friday night, but I got to follow orders, Nancy.”
”I can’t believe this.”
”Could you just… go somewhere else. Indoors,” he pleads. ”Can’t he just sneak in through the window like I did, it’s not that hard,” he continues without thinking. Nancy and Jonathan both gets even more redfaced.
”Well we used to but last week my mom-” Nancy begins to explain.
”No no, don’t wanna know,” he cuts her off. ”Just, go somewhere, out of here.”
”Fine,” she huffs.
”See you,” he parts with awkwardly. Nancy can barely look at him. Jonathan gives the most awkward wave he’s ever seen.
”So,” Callahan begins as he gets back in the cruiser. Jonathan has already sped off. ”Didn’t that make you feel good?”
”Kill me,” he mutters and beats his head against the dashboard.
”I can’t believe that just happened,” Nancy says after a long silence in the car.
”Tell me about it,” he mutters. He thought that nothing would ever be more embarrassing than when Nancy’s mother walked in on them last week. Turns out Nancy’s ex busting them topped that.
The mood was definitely ruined plus they ran the risk of missing the curfew Mrs. Wheeler had imposed on them after last week’s incident, despite Nancy’s vigorous protests; so he drives Nancy home.
For a second he thought that it almost looked like a van was following them, but looking in the rearview mirror again it was gone, must’ve made a right onto Dearborn. He pulls up to the curb outside Nancy’s house.
”Well, goodnight. I had a great time… for the most part,” Nancy says and gives him a kiss.
”Yeah, me too. See you tomorrow?”
”Definitely.”
Nancy kisses him one more time before stepping out of the car. He watches her walk up to the door. She turns on the porch and gives him a wave. He waves back and waits until she’s safely inside her house before driving off.
He drives the familiar way home from Maple Street. One more time a feeling like he’s being followed comes over him for a second, but once again no one’s there so he shakes it off. He parks at the end of the driveway next to the Chief’s cruiser and steps inside his house.
They’re all still in front of the tv just like when he left them earlier, but only Hopper is awake, his mom snoring lightly beside him on the loveseat, Will and El slumped against each other in the sofa. The sound is off and the movie seems to be at it’s conclusion when Hopper looks up at him, looks down at his watch, then back up at him.
”Callahan bust ya?” Hopper smirks.
”Harrington,” he sighs deeply.
”Ouch,” Hopper can barely contain his laughter.
”Goodnight,” he leaves with another sigh and heads for his room.
”Night.”
”You good?” Mick turns and asks as they watch the car turn off the road and down the long driveway to the house now familiar to them from a week’s worth of stakeouts.
”Yeah, let’s go,” Kali replies, wiping the blood from her nose.
”When do we execute the plan?” Funshine asks.
”Soon.”
Video Game Asks
5. Favorite video game trope(s)?
I didn’t know the exact definition of a trope, but when I looked it up, I knew what they meant immediately. My favorite video game trope is Battle Theme Music! So much so, that I don’t know I’m being attacked in any video game until I hear the notes either become darker, faster, or discordant (rest in pieces me).
8. Favorite game(s) of all time (so far)?
There are so many video games that I hold dear to me! But here are the ones that have been absolutely life changing for me: The Mass Effect series, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate, the Dragon Age series, the Bioshock series, and Halo. Now when I say “life changing”, each of them has a different way that they have led me on a path for the better, and helped me. Mass Effect helped me realized that I am strong, and that even as a woman I could conquer whatever life threw at me. Not only that, but it reassured me that even the savoir of the galaxy has demons they have to fight, and everyone deals with their trauma differently. Oblivion is the game I grew up on, right along with the Halo series. I lived and breathed these two games, and when I was asked in 2nd Grade what I wanted to be when I grew up, I said the Hero of Tamriel (good job dad!). In the summer of 2007, I remember my twin, my younger brother, my dad and I all huddled together, eyes stuck on our TV screen as the Halo 3 trailer played, and after it ended there was a hushed silence before all of us burst into cheers and shrill, happy squeals, Kingsley and I pretending to be Chief and The Arbiter. Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate has quite literally saved my life. The last two years have been absolute hell- and my depression was at its all time high. My mental illnesses were really starting to effect my every day life, and I could hardly (and still can’t) function on a daily basis. But Syndicate.. it gives me hope. It gave me belief that family doesn’t just run in blood, and that our siblings are some of the most important people in our lives. It gave me the drive to move forward, and face every day as it came.Dragon Age let me know it was okay to be something other than straight! (-waves pride flag-) I was very young and confused, I knew that boys and I just weren’t going to get along well in a romantic aspect. While it was wonderful to romance Alistair in Origins, I really started to acknowledge my feelings and fears when I had the opportunity to let Garrett romance Fenris. I was confused, scared, and lost, but the DA fandom took me under their wing and explained everything to me. I will always be grateful!
17. Have you ever wanted to live in a game? Which one?
Any world with Dorian Pavus, of course! The world I would most like to live in is the Thedas, based in DA Origins, II, and Inquisition! While this world does have its dangers (what world doesn’t?) I absolutely love the lore, people, and character class aspects! I would definitely be a mage!
20. Favorite video game character(s) of all time?
There are so, so many, but I’ll list the ones that I have personally connected with or cosplayed: Elizabeth Comstock, Booker DeWitt, Jacob and Evie Frye, Dorian Pavus, Merrill, and Mordin Solas.
24. If you could punch any video game character in the face, who would it be?
This asshole. The ACIII crew did such a good job making this over confident grease pig hate worthy, because God do I despise him! It has five whole years and my rage for this plebeian still burns. (He was really well acted, so it made him even more angering. If he had been some dull villain I might not have cared, but this guy single handedly ruined everything for Connor, so he deserves a whalloping if you ask me haha)
31. Do you have a favorite game fic?
My favorite game fan fiction has to be @myrooks story Hush A Bye Baby! It is such a sweet story, and every time there is an update, I read with a smile big enough to make my face hurt. Mae does such an incredible job capturing every part of Jacob Frye and putting him into words! Every time I read their work I feel like it was him who wrote it, and if you haven’t seen their blog, I highly suggest you do!
I had so much fun answering these, and thank you so much for sending them in! Have a wonderful night, friend!Cheers,Rook-ie
Tag Games
Got tagged in a couple things by @psifitopia, thank you!!
Favourite colours: Orange, purple, neon/highlighter yellow
Last song I listened to: Deaths Diary - Marc Almond
Favourite musicians: I don’t usually like more than a couple of an artist’s songs, but I like a fair amount of stuff by The White Stripes, Bee Gees, The Monkees, The Beach Boys, t.A.T.u.
Last film I watched: A Nightmare on Elm Street
Last tv show I watched: American Horror Story. I’ve been suffering through Coven, but only one episode at a time, because I can’t force myself to binge it. Sooooo boring!
Favourite original character: I don’t have any OCs, and I like way too many fictional characters to pick a fave
Sweet, spicy or savoury: Sweet, and sometimes, sweet with spicy
Sparkling water, tea or coffee: Tea
Pets: I have 4 cats: Lexicon (”Lexie”), Sushi, Felicia, and Dinah
1. What was the last movie you watched in theaters? Ma
2. What’s your favorite game to play? Resident Evil 4 & 5, Lollipop Chainsaw, Call of Duty: Ghosts, Pokemon Go. I like card games too, especially Gin and Rook, even though I don’t often get a chance to play them.
3. Chocolate or vanilla? Both
4. What’s the last show you binge-watched? Slasher
5. Do you have any pets? 4 cats
6. What’s your favorite fairy tale? I don’t know a lot about fairy tales, so I’m not sure these count: Alice in Wonderland, Pied Piper, Little Match Girl
7. Who’s your favorite superhero? Batman, Storm, Shadowcat, Hit-Girl
8. Who’s your favorite Disney Princess? Kida, and from the usual line-up, Jasmine
9. Where’s the first place you’re going to go after the social distancing is over? The library, maybe? There’s some movies not on the streaming services, that my dad and I want to checkout and watch together.
10. Cookies or Cake? Cookies
+ 10 questions from @teenwolf-theoriginals:
1. which show could you watch over and over? Scooby Doo Where Are You!, Batman: the Animated Series, Good Eats, ‘60′s Addams Family
2. favourite song lyric? None really come to mind. I focus more on the rhythm/beat/tempo of a song, and don’t always pay attention to the words.
3. favourite season of your favourite tv show? Criminal Minds season 4 or 5
4. what never fails to make you smile/happy? Having painted nails, wrapping presents, being around a fire pit
5. how are you doing with all that’s going on in the world (virus, having to do social distancing, etc)? It’s been difficult. It didn’t change my day-to-day life, but it amplified my mental issues. And now that it’s been a few months, and everything I’ve been looking forward to has been wrecked, I deal with it by ignoring it as much as possible. I heavily blacklist/post block on here, avoid watching the news, try to change the subject as quickly as possible if my family talks about it, etc. It sounds terrible, but it’s the best way for me to avoid a flare-up. It doesn’t take much to send me into an episode.
6. we all love new music to listen to, name an artist that is underrated/you think people should check out? Keane, specifically, their first album, Hopes and Fears. “Somewhere Only We Know” got played a lot, but I think the entire album is nice. It’s chill pop, similar to Coldplay’s first few albums.
7. tv show or movie? Movie. I don’t always have the energy/attention span/interest to get involved in a TV show.
8. favourite holiday? Halloween!
9. a song that describes you? I listen to music as a distraction, and try not to think about myself/connect it to my life
10. describe your tumblr in three words? Memes, venting, personal log
+ 4 questions from @Floh673
1. Where you live, town, village, countryside, see side? City 2. Favourite weather? Heavy rain, but if I’m outside, mild, like 70s, with a light breeze 3. Last Travel? It’s been probably...10 years or more. The most I do now is drive ~40 mins to St. Louis to visit the Botanical Garden or the History Museum.
4. Are your Tumblr friends the same as in real life?
