[grandconquests]

Grandconquests is a discord RP group based on the Emblian Empire in FE:H! We are a group with dark, gritty themes seeking character development and progression through events and interactions. 

We are a small community looking to expand our numbers and create a larger family with a diverse cast of characters, perfect for socializing and developing characters! 

We have a plethora of “game modes” and systems to make your stay here enjoyable, including: an automated gold and shop system, an “arena” game mode where you can purchase weapons to make your victory easier and gain rewards quicker, “boss battles” for GHB/TT units, monthly “invading Askr” battlefield activities, main story quests, and biweekly spying missions that earn you quite a pretty penny! 

We have many, many things to buy in the shop including class change seals to allow your character to wield new weapons, including those new weapons, mounts, a third character slot, pets, and more!

EVENT 001: BEGIN

Hello everyone! Event 001 for grandconquests has begun! The land of Embla is plagued by a random overflow of magic that will lead to ruin if it's not dealt with! Veronica and her heroes must work together to figure out what happened and stop the overflow! Right now, Embla is plagued by an icy death looming over them all, that will eventually spread to an unprepared Askr.

Who knows how far this will stretch after Askr and Embla are consumed? Would it stretch as far as Nifl and Muspell? What about the other realms yet unexplored. Helheim? We just don't know! To prevent ruin to Zenith, we must complete this event successfully!

IN ADDITION: We are now officially and fully accepting Three Houses characters!

Embla, usually a cold and muted land, was now filled with an overabundance of magic. Even those without the ability to sense the flow of it under normal conditions could now feel the fluid course of it throughout Embla. The heat was diminished by a frigid air that crept from the countryside even into the capital. The further out into the countryside, the colder it became. Almost as cold as winterstorm in Nifl! Those unlucky enough to be situated outside of a decent village would find a hard time surviving the cold. Veronica knew that should this overabundance of magic coursing through the land continue, people would die through the actual winter. Embla needed this summer to last so they could continue increasing food and cotton stores for the winter.

They would not survive if Veronica allowed this damnable winter to stay.

With that in mind, she gathered every scientist, mage, and hero she could. She gave them express commands to get to the bottom of this overabundance of magic, where it's leaking from, and how to repair it. She gave them express directions, even a marked map, on where to go to explore for each party that she set up. She planned on taking a small express amount of heroes with her to the deepest point that she could sense, where the magic was at it's strongest. They would set up base camp there, and stay for however long was required. Veronica would return once a day weekly to the palace to inquire about new information from her search parties, restock whatever supplies the camp needs, and return.

[ EVENT 001: DO THE ENDS JUSTIFY THE MEANS? ]

EVENT 001 DETAILS Start time: August 4th, 2019 End time: September 4th, 2019 New group mechanics: Fire Emblem: Three Houses muses have now been unlocked! Participating categories: DO THE ENDS JUSTIFY THE MEANS? [ EVENT] Participating channels: only the channels in DO THE ENDS JUSTIFY THE MEANS? [ EVENT ] Group buffs: 2x the gold! All non-event replies are worth 100g, all event replies are worth 300g

Randomized prizes - An additional character slot (MAX OF 3 CHARS) - A free pet and supplies for a month, any pet of your choosing - OOC buff: All replies earn 2x the gold (stacks with the event for up to 400g per non event reply and 600g per event reply) duration: 1 week - OOC buff: additional thread slot for a max of 5 thread slots. duration: 2 weeks - event creation potion: you are allowed to create 1 event of any type! whether it be serious, silly, focused on character development, or anything you please. you are allowed to create a prize list with one restriction: you cannot give out a character slot - community gift potion: you will be allowed to create one free gift to give to everyone on the server, whether it be 6k gold, a free item from the shop (bar the character slot), give everyone the opportunity to add more shop items with no restrictions, among other things! there is only one restriction.

Participation prizes: - Successfully figuring out the puzzle of the event and stopping the flow of magic will award everyone 4kg and unlock new shop items and one new group mechanic! - Just participating in the event will award you 500g just for rping - Failure to figure out the puzzle and complete the event's bad end will award everyone with a pity gift of 200g and a random surprise item. - You get 300g per RP reply with this event. The goal of this event is to RP to find clues as to why the overflow of magic broke out and has sent Embla to an icy grave. Once per RP you can ping @☀ Veronica￤Deirdre to ICly type up a post in your thread with possible clue locations and clue details. Your characters will be able to spot the general location of these clues and will be able to interact with them next reply, no need for rolling to find the location or anything like that

On August 31st and every day after until event conclusion, muses should be using #moongem communication to share the clues that they have found to try and come up with a solution to the problem. When they feel that they have come up with a viable solution, you may ping @☀ Veronica￤Deirdre ICly to suggest what course of action to take.

Veronica will then attempt that solution ICly in the main rp channel, #main-lake. If the solution succeeds, the changes will be immediate. If the solution fails, nothing will happen and a new solution must be met.
