Looking over, she squinted for a moment, until she finally could make out what she was seeing― and her eyes widened in shock. What was that! Or...who...was that?... She peered at the other with a mix of confusion, bewilderment and curiousness, until she realized she had been caught staring. Freezing in her spot, she timidly smiled over at them, trying to slip back into her customer service self. * Hi there! The daycare is about to close, did you need anything? Sophia gently asked, her lips thinning into a slight smile as she observed the other some more. How curious...she's never seen anything quite like this before...

Kid admitted as he tilted his head, that warm smile never fading. Yeah, wandering was an understatement but Spinel wouldn't know that. That and she didn't attack like some would just on sight so that's another plus in his book!

There's a lot of questions stirring around Johnny's head as he stares at the girl in front of him. Why is she pink? Is that, like, body paint or something? Even if it is, why would anyone just be wearing colorful body paint all willy nilly? And what's that gemstone-looking thing sticking out of her chest?

In the midst of his thoughts, he fails to realize just how hard he's staring, though. Even with the sunglasses obscuring his eyes, Spinel could practically feel him looking right through her. Does he even have a single coherent thought going on in that head of his? Jeez...

Gem Steven was sitting by Classic Steven on the floor with a complete walk through guide of Mini Golf Quest XIV, guiding the little one through the more difficult part of the games secret mini boss course. "Alright, now it says to enter the normal code you got before backwards while holding down the right trigger button for the entire duration of the keypad sequence in this room, once the keypad turns orange you need to run down, right, then right again before going up three times then opening the door second to last on the left."

"Gotcha... I hope the secret mini boss doesn't mind us barging in on whatever they were doing in their secret place, it'd be kinda rude to come in uninvited and out of the blue like that." Classic Steven replied as he was doing what Gem Steven had instructed on doing.

"Yeaa... never know what you're gonna fine when you just barge in uninvited haha... don't forget to save your game after you get to the door you need to get to, it'd suck to have to do all this again later."

Ninetales had to admit, this universe was a strange one.

Living crystals, yet unlike Terapagos and its kin. They were more akin to humans, and yet so unlike those mythical beings.

Yet humans resided in this world, too. Humans, animals, and living crystals. Yet, not a Pokemon to be seen.

Other than Ninetales herself, of course. Seeking to sate her curiousity, she had not immediately left this world upon arrival.

Instead, she traversed the paths of this town on her paws, seeking one of those living crystals, to inquire more about this strange universe.

Frigid winds blew over the dry, icy expanse of Winters' islands. It was a quiet night, all the animals asleep and hiding away in their burrows, the stars twinkling against the midnight sky.

The quiet darkness was suddenly cut through by an ominous, green beacon of light shooting up into the sky, bathing the snowy cliffs and mountains in a verdant swath of light, a warbling sound accompanying the bright burst.

The light seemed to be coming from the middle of what looked to be a gathering of long, rectangular pillars.
