he never meant to be so awkward and closed off around sebastian but he didn't want to do this whole pretending he was just sebastian's brother thing, not when he and sky were the only ones who knew the truth about his true relationship with sebastian. although, he couldn't exactly continue to somewhat avoid sebastian for very long. he was a bit drunk and sitting alone on the top deck of the family yacht, having grabbed a bottle of whiskey and snuck off for the evening. he couldn't exactly hide for long though. he heard another presence and glanced over, spotting sebastian. "oh, hey, seb. what are you doing up here?" he asked, taking a drink from the bottle

The sudden shout catches both her attention as well as the vampire she had been hunting. Back is resting against aged brick, bruises rising beneath her attire she’s certain to feel the next morning, crimson cascading down her features from a rather deep cut just above her brow. Crimson blinds half her vision, eyes screwed tightly closed but the sudden distraction aids in granting her further time.

Enough time that the vampire attacking’s attention being on Draco gets her to swiftly reach into the bag at her side, swiftly withdrawing the aged, battered colt to rise & pull the trigger. Aim is sloppy, simply to the stomach, but the blessed silver is enough to get her released from the wall, descending to the ground with a harsh THUD as the vampire backs away, screeching in pain.

    “There isn’t much I haven’t done but if you want to prove yourself then I’m willing to watch and learn.” Mencken leans back into sofa, eyes homed in on Issac with his chin lifted. “You should know that this is a one-time thing, though. And that I’m hard to please." The last part he lets linger, knowing it could mean a world of different things and he isn't a stranger to all the options.

eyebrows   shoot   upward   in   clear interest.         ❛❛   ah   actually,   i   didn't   know   that   -   ❜❜         which   is   a   damn   shame   in   alex's   mind.   how   had   he   not   known   this   before?         ❛❛   but   now   that   i   do   ...   ❜❜         the   momentary   surprise   fades   with   a   small   shake   of   his   head   and   a   push   forward,   his   arm   stretches   out   some   and   just   the   tips   of   his   fingers   push   into   the   center   of   the   other's   chest   to   move   him   along   as   well.         ❛❛   can't   let   the   moment   go   to   waste,   huh?   ❜❜         so   he   doesn't.   when   there's   nowhere   else   to   go,   alex   rises   upwards   and   curls   his   fingers   into   the   fabric   beneath   his   fingers   and   pulls   him   down   to   meet   for   a   kiss.
