Buddyfight is going on hiatus???? This is new to me - what is going on?

So, a pal of mine posted this photo on Twitter, which is a screenshot that’s been floating around apparently (we’re not sure of the source, but given the state of the anime industry, particularly card game anime, it’s as believable as anything):

I already figured this was legit b/c you can’t exactly fabricate a cancellation of a series to this caliber, but THEN, I looked at the official (English) Future Card Buddyfight website, and there’s this big ole announcement:

It doesn’t really go into detail like the previous screencap does, but it does confirm that FCBF Ace will be off the air soon. I’m hoping they change their mind on the no new season thing, but for now, this is what we got.

I really have no desire to go through the tags because I know I'm gonna cry more but glad you took my advice. That episode combined with the upcoming CFV episode on Saturday is legit going to destroy me.

Yeah, so I’m emotionally obliterated by VRAINS 93, FCBF Ace is probably gonna kick me in the honey nut feelios with Amnesiac Subaru probably, and CFV is def gonna murder me, so.
